Hey great video got a question I've got one of these devices love it I'm having a problem I cannot go from one game to another without starting the device over! I can't play a Sega Genesis game back out of that and play another Sega Genesis game without having to start the device over! I don't know if you can help me out or somebody!!
I also bought the RG28xx. I ended up shelving it. Compared to the TrimUi it's much heavier, the weight is unbalanced, it's too narrow and not tall enough coupled with the small buttons makes it very uncomfortable to hold, and finally the triggers are absolutely awful, not to mention it rattles louder than a baby's toy. So the TrimUi even with the awful screen still couldn't be replaced for me. Did these issues not bother you?
@@ajcics Nope. I have no trouble holding it, or balancing it, its not too heavy, the buttons feel great, I have no need to shake it, and the triggers feel fine. Plus, I love the screen size, the fact that it plays my N64 and PSP games, the music player, and the headphone jack. My Trimui was great, but the 28xx is everything it wasn't. Its basically the Trimui Smart Plus. 😁
@@ajcics i Cut a piece of Tape in 2mm Stripe. And fixed it on the bottom Part of L1 & L2 and a little Bit Further to the left and right. Then did the Same with R1&r2
I just received mine today right out of the box it freezes sometimes and I have to restart it. Tried to figure out how to update the stock firmware no luck there also using my own sandisk card.
This is nice. I like that it supports PSX gaming. Just curious how do you go about the absence of L2/R2 buttons for these games? Is there a way to remap some of the other buttons for that functionality? While it does support DS it looks like it was having a bit of a hard time.
Someone actually made a list of PSX games that dont use L2R2 but as as the newest update coming soon. Youll be able to use menu +L for L2 and menu + R for R2. It's decent but not a real replacement for having real buttons. I personally would stick to the games that dont use L2R2. Also yes DS is not perfect by any means but its playable and fun. This is drastic port for TrimUI and Miyoo Mini that works really well
Mine is .116alpha as well. I added the Drastic emulator myslef. Its really easy. Also I tried .117 and it had alot of performance issues so I went back to .116alpha
This is my favorite device. I have tons and great ones but this one is the best by far. And that is even with the screen.... The screen is absolute dog sh*t. But everything else about it makes up for it
@@Darkshaymin164 I guess because it's a rare item! It's so unique!! Everybody got regular size devices but this is just so unique! There's really nothing like it this thing has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi!!
I’ve been considering getting this for awhile Javy thx for covering it
With Miyoo and Anbernic getting in the field of tiny handhelds it's nice to see a review of an OG mini handheld
Aww man would be perfect if it had a 3.5mm jack.
I need this!!! Thanks Javi for the review😊
I picked up a green one off of Aliexpress for $30 shipped. I already have the Smart Pro looking forward to the mini.
Good video man! I dig it
I love this console! Bought one for my daughter and she loves it!
easiest my favorite pocket size handheld. can play up to ps1, has a good dpad and buttons.
That sideways game boy color bezel is low key annoying me af😁🤷🏽
Still... Cool little device but I'll stick to my H & Plus. Great video as always. 👍
I'll get a black one. It will make a good companion to my Trimui Smart Pro. Great video man! ✌🏻
Mine is coming today
I got lucky. I grabbed it in black for $30 during a sale. Its a nice little device
@@CornyPuddle The black one is soo clean

Can anyone do a side to side comparison Trimui smart mini and game boy micro ? Thanks
Great device. I played the crap out of mine for a year and a half. I have just replaced it with the RG28xx though. 😁

@@ajcicsi fixed the shaking buttons with a tape inside of the shell. Now its fine :)
@@jang.6097 what exactly did you tape?

Can it run ps1 games smoothly like xenogears, sudokien ,ff 7,8, and 9?
I have a nephew who this would be perfect for . Unfortunately if I get it I might keep it lol
There's also a black model coming out. Ive seen pictures of it
What firmware is your handheld on? I have one but without drastic. I'm on firmware 0.116 alpha. Thank you.

How did you get different themes
Funny, I have a lot of issues with 116. 😪🤣
Does this have Tomato OS or is it stock?
Its stock

Why would you buy this, if just for more $20 you can get the Pro version?
The pro doesn't fit in your pocket, of course.
@@JaviPlayRetro Good point. But I prefer the big screen and the ergonomics of the Pro.
