Thanks for this very helpful advice Vikas, im gonna use it in instructing my girlfriend. I recently bought ktm rc200 about 1 week old now, it is our first time riding a sports bike and it took me 1 week and about 300+ km to get used to the riding position but she finds it very awkward in her riding position. Anyways, keep up the good work and i hope there is a part 2, tips on riding with a girl on long rides with saddle/tank bags or luggages because im planning a long ride with her. Thanks and God bless.

Hahaha at 11:07 i am too tilting and leaning with my phone in my hand along with you 😅. That's the impact you gave with your videos. Now I automatically do those necessary things to do while riding a bike. Kudos to your work.
And also the most important thing a pillion can do for the safety of the bike is to do NOTHING and have faith on the rider and not bother them with unnecessary chatting and suggestions.
Wow. Amazing video after a very very very long time with a female pillion and that too on the very first generation yamaha R1 taking out for a spin after a very long time. Vikas, ive been doing touring on my Apache 200..from past 4 months ...I've experienced heavy butt pains and leg pains within 100 km ,while we r on 200-250km ride..I'm in good shape and I'm 5'11 ft in hieght....plz suggest a better riding position or a basic tips..I have 3 of my friends with same problem

When I took first timers. I said just hold me tight and hold onn to your life.
Then I do usual conering at 160-180 KMPH on Bangalore - Chennai highway with pillion, do you think it's slow enough? After seeing her reaction I feel blessed as all my pillion trust me/my experience with their life.

My older brother owns a second hand 2014 zx10r (it's his second bike, first was a rc 390 and despite me advising him to start with a less powerful bike he just ignored me) and he's a massive squid(only wears helmet when going on 50+ km rides). So once he had his girlfriend as his pillion and he gave the bike too much throttle (obviously to show off) and that resulted in the front wheel lifting up and she ended up falling from the bike but thank God she had a helmet on(his helmet -_- ) and didn't suffer any serious injuries other than a concussion. She was obviousl pissed and left him shortly later. So yeah ATGATT.
