And he would have been responsible for paying taxes on a way overpriced $112k car. 280 horsepower? Ford Mustangs the same year cranked out more lol. This kid dodged the biggest bullet of his life!

I absolutely love the price is right. I've been watching it since Bob Barker started out with it. But sometimes I think that even though there's a lot of awesome gifts and a lot of happy excited people. Some of those expensive gifts put people like this student into a horrible position. There's no way he's going to be able to afford to upkeep. That Tesla, the maintenance that registration the licensing the taxes is absolutely unbelievable. There's no way he could afford it.
Okay, just a little explanation about this. The producer wants the person to win, but they make the prizes at the end so expensive that the person gets nervous. They then get so nervous that they freak out causing them to lose focus. Then they will lose if they make it to the next-to-last prize.
I believe IMHO you’re overthinking it a bit here…this is just a game where it’s anybody’s guess. No strategy, no thinking, no focus required. Just dumb luck.
