Still can't believe how underrated this was.
this made him mainstream personaly i hate this song but each to their own, then he made bonkers and then rapped with robbie williams honestley give me sittin here jezebel brand new day or anything from his first album over this
ONG! This song and vid was 🔥 🔥. I don't understand what happened either
Why not? When you start your song with bluh, what else would you expect😂
And still is
Pretty sure every kid at school was playing this on their shitty brick phones for months when it came out. Underrated is such an overrated word.
honestly think dizzee should bring this song out again, he doesn't even need to remix it, this song is just as relevant now as it was 10years ago when it was realised. only difference is now there are many more uk grime fans now than there were back then........by far the best uk grime song ever produced
@Prince Zamunda shut up u drip this is grime
it needs a bit of remastering
@Prince Zamunda It's all 3
I dunno, Kano - Ps & Qs says otherwise
@@newname9262
headshot season is the best grime song
That old school storytelling shit is without a doubt one of the best rap verses out there
Dizzee & Korn. I remember when this dropped. Phenomenal. He is actually a big metal fan too.
onedayiwaswithmybredrinadrioroamingthestreets
Didn't think I'd hear nu-metal sampled in grime, but I LOVE IT
For anyone wondering, the nu-metal song in question sampled in this track is "Here To Stay" by Korn
Kano did the same, in the songs "typical me" and "don't know why" i can hear pure nu metal sound.
approximately 15 years later and still fond of korn, i never even knew this tho lol
You just blew my mind! Never picked it before
ahhhh i knew it
Holy shit I never knew that
Deserves an award. It's not just the song but the video. Brings two media formats together perfectly. Thank you Dizzy.
Mad that he sampled koRn for the breakdown. Very unique for where grime was back in the day.
What song?
@@MRTAILRED Here to stay
So it is
But Grime is just Hip Hop, & Hip Hop had already been sampling EVERY genre of music for decades. As the old saying goes, "Hip Hop didn't invent anything, but it reinvented EVERYTHING!"
"Step into my zone get your whole face rearranged" is one of the most badass lines.
it's making a point about the unfair divison of wealth and the class system in Britain.
truly amazing video.
3:07 you can tell Dizee is a Korn fan.
Thats a massive nod to the verse riff in "Here To Stay"
What a fucking tune.
One of the most culturally impactful songs to come out the U.K and knowing this history of that place and music, it says a lot.
2019 anyone? This is still a screamer. Came into my head at 2:42am
Just heard fix up look sharp, thought I've gotta come back to this lol. I forgot all about dizzee
I bet your dad did to.
2020
2:12 AM in 2020 here
2021 STILL ON THIS
shoutout machine girl sampled this on track 2 of MRK90 mix vol 1
The heavy metal riffs at the end work surprisingly well with this!
This tune gets me gassed still to this day! Old school banger
+Jim Lawler before dizzee went to that pussyole Robbie Williams ting. Low it
+PastorGains loool trust me but he still a grime scene saviour still

It's my go-to song to get pumped up. Love it
Till this day!
Musical masterpiece.
omfg, i dont usually listen to this sorta music, but WHAT A TUNE! It makes you sit up and take notice, the lyrics are so heavey, so is the tune. It is just awesome!
Grime was so ahead of his time, now you have niggas from Chicago doing it, even a boy from Toronto
13 years ago..👏🏻 fresh as yesterday 👊🏻
Best line in the whole song;
"Duck from the feds and i roll with the dealers".
One of his best hits
I miss this dizzee
This Dizzee's dead unfortunately...
New raskit album was good. Got some crazy flows on it
stop lying dizzee rascal is not dee liar.
@@infpseduction5710 u still believe that?
brings me back. music has the power to get me remembering exactly where I was when I first heard this banger. Amsterdam stand up. Respect to that UK grime scene.
STEP INTO MY ZONE GET YOUR WHOLE FACE REARRANGED, I BREAK THE LAW I WILL NEVER CHANGE. BANGER
Yh, Big one still.
2020 and this tune still bangs!

This is the greatest music video of all time.
Every time I hear sirens this song comes into my head, love it
this is hi best track, is this track that has allowed british hip hop to be taken seriously by the mainstream, tinchie , giggs etc owe alot to this man
Fucking love the rock theme near the end dizzee rascal should of done what cypress hill did with their skull and bones album CD2, would be sick
You must mean the
“Korn Here To Stay “sample yeah it‘s so dirty
nice to see this atitude, the spotlight only shines on a tiny percent of talent the world has to offer
Had to study this music video for my media studies class, we'd watch it three times in a row before we started our notes, and we did this for like three lessons, first time I ever hear it, "What is this crap, terrible music!", by the fifth time I'm hearing it, "God damn, I fucking love this song!"
+LaneyStudios5 This song is a masterclass - One of my favorite grime tunes full stop. Never appreciated it that much when it came out though (although I was like 16 or something at the time though).
This is a tune! Kind of Korn-inspired beats to Dizzee's talent
He never fails to make me smile
the end when the heavy metal kicks in gets me SO amped. this song is on repeat whenever i work out.
I love this song so much, best Rap ever !!! Dizzee is awesome! 2020!!!
this is one of the best songs eva
This is so good. First time ive heard his music.. music and video fits so nicely together
Just opened my eyes and beat I heard over a decade ago rolling round in my head. His story time part just inspired a new song
the music video reminds me of Moses from attack the block
That movie was fucking great!
Rai ppp
First time ever hearing this song… I like 😊
i rember tha 1st time i heard this song it blew my mind and it still does every time i here it
Best dizzee song by far
im from ireland.i love rap.british rappers always annoyed me cause the accent but dizzie accent is pure british and is funny and intelligent and changed my opinion.this song is my fav song by him,not cause the music is fucking brilliant but listen to the words.class man
+1 great stuff, grime reminds me of proper punk rock
Your Irish and you're saying an English accent annoys you?
TheThreeLions wow you actually took what i said into your little brain and still couldn`t understand what i write..........and your people call americans dumb hahahaha fuck sake
Ted Baker if i`m foreign to you then that means you`re foreign to me so your insult is more like an observation.
im from Ireland too!
Fun fact:
Korn - Here To Stay is sampled in this track.
So did Jorja Smith - Blue Lights
I came here to find the Korn sample
Sure is. He's a big metal fan.
Rap metal still fucking awesome ❤️😍dizzee is pure MC
Rap metal mixer with grime is a rare phenomenon.
Never liked hip-hop, but loved this song
the first song i heard buy dizze got me hooked
shame all the new stuff is all shite
its a work of art. its incredibly powerful
I mean this is 13 years old and the metaphor still is super obvious i watched this at 14 years old And the video really says something now more then ever like the fox hunt is a accurate metaphor for state racism and persecution and I didn’t really catch on till now always thought it was a actor piece and a entertainment thing but god damn haven’t heard this in 10 years but boy is it hitting hard
Rascal my boy
BEST!!!
Blue Lights
Calm down Jorja
ikr
Freak on a Leash
@@notthisprickagain8499 it does sound like Korn, but more like Here to stay
@@di7787 I meant to say that 🖒
The best song he ever did!
If dizzee hadn't sold out he'd have ended up as one man Death Grips looool
You listened to his latest album? I think it's the dogs bollocks, some really hard going tracks I thought
This song gives me goosebumps 😍😍😍
havent heard this since i was like 16 so i just looked up dizzee rascal metal song lol
I’m catching up on the series “Top Boy,” and all the Grime artists featured in it reminded be about Dizzee. IIRC, I came across his album Showtime in a brick and mortar music shop in 2004. I decided to give it a shot, and was not disappointed. I’m an old man now, considering that was damn near two decades ago.
thanks for sharing @@toothgrinder2760
dizzee n kano my favs outta UK not jumpin around in every ova uk vid...
It's called "blooding". On someone's first hunt they are ritually smeared with the blood from the kill. How very civilized.
You must be familiar with the ways of old
SICK and genius video
anyone from MRK90 MIX VOL 1 track 2?
Jesus. Dizzee's masterpiece
Machine Girl
MRK90 YOOOOOO I CAN HEAR THE SIRENS COMING

This used to make me scared of police as a kid 😂
😂😂 Truss me
one of his best.......new album is feckin outstanding.....
British classic
I love the beat in this!
If only dizzee could get back to this style.... he's gone mainstream now like they all do..... still think boy in da corner is best album
Yup...that's the whole point of killing and cloning them... to make the money and get the attention of the public that the talentless il-lame-inati can't on their own merit. And this video is a clue as to how it happened.
INFPSeduction so you think dizzee has been cloned?? I think he's been cloned compared to his boy in the corner days hes totally different, I also think tinie tempah has been cloned
This. Is. Phenomenal.
this song is sick, it's true hiphop, not that fake club shit which dizzee is doing nowadays...
Now he's back at his roots
king of grime is bak, and a great kik off to his new album. defo feelin it
Hilarious if that's what you actually think. This video portrays a youth (dizzee) who is forced by the society he lives in to rob and steal in order to survive, the people on the horses are the police chasing him in an old school hunting fashion. The younger child whom Dizzee seems to be teaching to rap at the beginning is left without his teacher and turns his anger toward society and becomes hateful most likely how Dizzee got into his life. It portrays the cycle of poverty and crime.
@iwtmltyb stfu mate
DIZZEE RASCAL ... For all of you who dont know he is one of the best european rappers... he was into jungle drum n bass and hiphop from the beggining. So give some respect to the man...
Jorja Smith - Blue Lights
