The Axe Edelgard is seen wielding could be Hauteclaire it has the same design as that one, never mind it's not, could be the Axe of Ukonvasara and maybe she found it at some point but your guess is as good as mine
@cccandybois Since Three Hopes is developed by Koei Tecmo, i feel like the next mainline FE (or another Echoes) is being worked on right now at IntSys, with this Warriors serving as an in-between title to tide us over.

Purple haired guy is clearly a redesign of Lorenz who will serve as the main antagonist the lords unite against. Lorenz was clearly behind the Agarthans and Nemesis in the original game. Lorenz is the key to all of this.
honestly this will probably be better than the actual plot we're getting.
And the god Lorenz absorbed is his father.
He's a funnier character than we've ever had in any of the other games before.

I didn’t even notice Hilda in the trailer. It was such a quick scene that I didn’t even *realize* someone had blocked Dimitri’s blow towards Claude.
Same here. Also didn’t catch that it wasn’t the Sword of the Creator being shattered. That sort of robs the scene of its power, but I guess it makes sense.

When I rewatched it, I thought it was Aymr at first, but then I stopped the video and watched closely to see Freikugel and Hilda’s pink hair.
She’ll be there at the roster. Remember, she is lazy to be at the frontlines.

5:40 This Monica's eyes don't look evil like they do with Kronya-Monica. Could be the real Monica, having not died in this timeline. She's also using magic, which Kronyica never did. Maybe that's what made the timeline different. Maybe this time Monica managed to not get captured and killed, but exposed Solon instead, which then weakened the Slitherer infiltration of the monestary, ultimatiely also resulting in a less successful attack by Edelgard aswell.
That would make this wholly different from Three Houses right? Didn't Monica went missing one year before the prologue? There are already differences but I thought it will be diverging at a later point.
Perhaps that is the diverging point, like Schrodinger’s cat. Monica dying resulted in Three Houses, her not dying gave us Three Hopes?
Are we fully sure Edelgard even attacks in this timeline? At least, not attacking WITH the agarthans but more on her own?
@@NosferatuMonty776 The part of the trailer where there's a strategic map of Garreg Mach and Edelgard asking "where should we attack" (or something like that) while picking an area of Garreg Mach seems to imply that.
It could also be a fakeout, maybe a villain's forces have already occupied it and Edelgard's helping us liberate it.

One hope I have is for the Ashen Wolves to be Involved in the story, I love them all as characters and they could potentially change up the story in an interesting way

Yess! Seeing Balthus punch his way through and Hapi occasionally summoning beasts with her sighs would be hype.
This game will have dlc for sure, and additional playable characters will definitely be part of it. I’m like 50% certain that the ashen wolves will be in that roster.

Notable that Warriors 1's plot involves Male Robin and Female Corrin, with the other version of each unlockable but not taking part in the story. I am expecting this new Warriors to be similar with Female Byleth but of course they could change it.
The difference is that they were not the main character in those games, it was Rowan and Lianna and you had the choice between them for the main one. If Byleth isn't the main character then i'm inclined to agree with you, but if they are then it's makes little sense to only have f!byleth be the MC.
i really really hope we can choose freely between male and female byleth and that the trailer and current art is using female byleth only is out of convenience. after 800 hrs playing male byleth it’s going to be very odd to switch and have to play this new game as female byleth

When Byleths sword brakes due to the OC it mimics the pose nemesis death in golden deer so I predict this is her death and then uses divine pulse to the beginning of the game and then Byleth spills the beans that causes the Lord's to unite with Claudes line about mistakes
It also makes sense with the (most likely) white hair god(dess)'s line: "The cycle of this world... I will not allow it to perish with you."

I’m hoping it’s just gonna be a running joke where Holst is always just off camera yet we never see or hear him.
I mean, that might have been Holst and not Hilda in the trailer. Do we canonically know Holst's hair color?
@@Shalakor No, but we do know that Holst's physique is not too different from Balthus's from the way him and Hilda talk about Holst. and that body frame looks much more like Hilda then Balthus.
Sothis's quotes could be interesting considering her unused crit quotes also mention revenge

They’re used in heroes, which is interesting. They’re new takes, so it’s neat for them to base her quotes off unused content.
Two wild speculations:
1. There is a very notable scene in 3 Houses where Byleth tries to Divine Pulse Jeralt's death, but apparently Thales has knowledge of this power and the ability to counteract it. This comes out of nowhere and Thales seems to be the only one in the entire game other than Byleth and Sothis who knows about it, apart from Jeralt briefly catching that something weird happened. This could play a role how things like "time travel" and "foreknowledge" figure into the new game and how the Agarthans feature in it.
2. The Forbidden Spell of Zahras that Solon tries to trap Byleth in is notable because it is enough to "terrify" Sothis, who mentions that the only way to beat it is for the Goddess herself to directly intervene. This might suggest that it's a "divine tier" spell, for lack of better words, that is in a different class than standard magic, much like Sothis' ability to Divine Pulse. It may even be possible that Zahras is the name of the white haired character who seems to be Sothis' counterpart.
These tidbits suggest that the Agarthans, or at least the higher echelons of them like Thales and Solon, have far greater understanding of divine beings like Sothis than the people of Fodlan. Solon also calls Sothis/Byleth the "Fell Star," but this is not elaborated upon AFAIK. Sothis doesn't have any notable "star" motif, nor does the adjective "Fell" fit her in any way we know, suggesting that the Agarthans have their own lore about all this divine stuff. All of this may very well suggest that the Agarthans may have their own divine class entity to rival Sothis, or even create their own, as mentioned in the analysis.
Sothis is the Greek name of the Egyptian goddess Sopdet, who is the personification of the star Sirius. (said star is also the root for Seiros btw)
And in chapter 4 medieval painting-thingy intro, "The Blue Sea Star returns; the Goddess's rebirth is celebrated. As the sun grows stronger and the nights grow ever shorter, the Blue Sea Star returns to the sky once more. Believed to be the goddess's home, her followers look to the star and commence celebrations of her rebirth."
Sothis is an alien coming from space. And that's why she's called the "Fell Star" by the Agarthans. Because that's what she is, a divine being coming from the stars who "fell" upon Fodlan.
It's some pretty deep lore, it's understandable that you didn't knew about it, but it's in the game.
@@gallalameblook9911 If that's truly the case then perhaps the new antagonist has the power of another of Sothis's kind (assuming she's not the only one) in the same way Byleth has Sothis's.
If Age of Calamity is semi-canon with time travel shenanigans, I suspect this game will do the same. A Byleth who has seen all there is to see divine pulsing all the way back to the start, only to be joined by a nemesis from TWSITD to try and stop her
I mean, Zelda is famous for his time travel shenanigans, 3H time travel is supposed to be a major point. If they use it well, it could be great

"Using the divine pulse to change the past, but being stopped by TWSITD" is a actually a good point that I didn't realize, since there's already precedent for it in the original game.
I just hope everyone from 3H is playable in this game. All the students, the teachers, heck even main antagonists. Unlike the first warriors game which “focused on the entire series” this is just one game they can pull characters from, plus it’d be interesting to see how characters like Sothis or Rhea (both forms) would play.
@@TheCoolerIdeasGuy That kind of gives me the idea that one of Raphael’s specials would be he traps enemies under a bunch of weights throws them into the air, deals massive damage and then ends with him eating a drumstick.
I can see the members of the three houses plus manuela and hanneman being playable in base game while ashen wolves and any missing knights of seiros are dlc that's just me tho

Dimitri's sentiment actually is stated in 3H proper in regards to The kingdom and its relationship with Duscar. The Empire and Kingdom's bloody history came about because the Empire is corrupt. So it wouldn't be Dimitri lamenting on the relationship.
Similarly, Edelgard and Claude's conversation is similar to his boss conversation with her in VW, when he states that he and Edelgard have similar goals and question why she didn't attempt to use diplomacy, but she insists that Claude could never understand Fodlan due to being an outsider.

Yeah, Dimitri was motivated from the beginning by revenge, yes, but also to "break the cycle of the strong trampling the weak" and "clearing Duscur's name." I see it as his very familiar sentiment of not wanting to use violence and strength to solve things anymore (which only Dimitri pushed past his limits disagrees with).
I definitely don't think this is about him blaming the Kingdom for all the past violence with the Empire and wanting to band over backwards to please them and Edelgard now, especially since she's rather clear she thinks only *she* can rule things and fix problems - which, you know, leaves Dimitri, the ruler of another place that's very loyal to him - with only one option in her world - die. I don't think he'll agree to that lol.
@@Faerghast Claude's reference to a mistake might be a reference to his own realization of the issues plaguing Fodlan as he used to agree with Edelgard until he saw the effects of her actions and realized that by agreeing with her he was condoning discrimination. Maybe his mistake is that he didn't recognize the fact that the Empire needed to be dealt with and simply wanted to run away if the going got tough. Perhaps his neutrality and lack of passion is his mistake. As he ends up doing he one thing that he didn't do in 3H proper, ally with Dimitri.
Very interesting, can't wait to see if this is an actual golden route, seeing the 3 lords interact together was the greatest part for me!

The trailer could imply that there could be three routes, but with a twist? There’s parts where two lords are featured each time in three different pairings.

The most interesting detail I noticed was Edelgard's crown's extensive redesign, and how it doesn't look as ominous as the one she had in Three Houses.

The Argathneans Always Refuse To Accept Sothis as Deity....Which is Ironic Considering Sothis Was One To Help Them improve on technology before They Betrayed Sothis.
My big worry is that Three Houses already runs slow as balls in the Monastery, so I'm kinda dreading how a Warriors game will run. But if nothing else, that short trailer has gotten me way more hyped for this game than I *ever* was for the first Warriors game.
ahh it'll be fine. I seem to remember other people finding out that Three Houses ran with the Warriors engine. Honestly we might be seeing how Three houses would've been originally if they decided to use the engine how it was meant to be

@@mj2037 basically almost all competent Warriors games are speaheaded by Koei Tecmo (so Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule Warriors, the first FE Warriors, P5S etc.). It‘s very unlikely that Nintendo‘ll NOT let them do this one as well, so I think we‘re gonna do just fine on the gameplay front.
The main thing that people‘re having doubts about is how well IS is going to handle a „Golden Route“ this time given how Revelations turned out.

@@Justic_ I don‘t think that Koei Tecmo does the writing for games other than their original IPs but I‘m not sure.
And to be fair, the reason Fates writing is so horrible is because like 90% of it had to be cut (at least, that holds true for Birthright and Conquest. I think Rev was literally just made for monetary purposes only. Just copy-paste all the characters over, write a barely comprehensible story to somehow justify lifelong enemies teaming up, create stupid gimmicks to make that route feel „unique“ and let the money roll in).
But yeah, since there are other people in charge of FE‘s story now, I‘m pretty optimistic towards what the final product will look like given how strong it’s backbone already is.
My guess is that all the characters in from three houses go back in time because the antagonist wants revenge or can't accept Byleth/Sothis' alteration of the past.. and now the lords need to work together to defeat him while retaining all their experience of their timeskip memories
I've been feeling huge 3 Houses fatigue, but when I step back off that rock and actually think, I do remember really being engaged in and engrossed in the 3H story. Heck, I played all 4 routes plus the DLC and really enjoyed my time with the game.
I think my biggest complaint was always with Revelations setting the precedent for the "Golden Route" and a lot of my friends hating how 3H didn't have one (despite the whole point of the game being the fact that there is no one "right" side in this war).
Despite my complaints with the first FEW my ~200 hours in that game show I really did enjoy it overall, and so I'm looking forward to FE3Hopes. I just wish we could get another non-3H story for the community to talk about.
Eh, probably soon. Maybe later this year? Maybe Three Hopes is a smokescreen so that we will be thoroughly surprised at an announcement of a new mainline title, teasing later this year.

i would have been strange if they had shown a new mainline fire emblem in the same direct with Advance wars and Triangle strategie I guess in the next direct we see a new fire emblem
I'm sure that we will get something soon. This game to me looks like striking the iron while it's hot; Koei Tecmo already worked on Fire Emblem: Three Houses and used the Warriors engine for it so a lot can be reused, the idea of the three house leaders working together has been an idea many fans wanted beyond Cindered Shadows, and Fire Emblem Warriors already exists making this game's existence far less potentially jarring. To that end the game probably only took maybe 1 and a half to 2 years to make at the very most considering how much can be reused.
If it does end up being a "golden route", I still think that it wouldn't invalidate the routes of Fire Emblem: 3 Houses. There's probably going to be some Divine Pulse/time travel shenanigans much like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity since with that game essentially a timeline split occurred; the bad stuff that happened which led to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild still happened and thus wasn't invalidated, but due to time travel players got to see a scenario in which things turned out alright.
What fatigue? There hasn't been any 3 houses related stuff since Byleth in smash

Hey man if FATES is your thing you'll have fun going through the story. It has a lot of cut corners though, such as every archer is the exact same, and a lot of recycled character animations i.e. Tharja is a Robin clone, same for Celica -> Marth, Frederick -> Xander etc. Not trying to steer you away, but you'll be buying it full price since Nintendo doesn't know what a sale is lol

I feel like the major break in this timeline from three house's is that the agarthans never formed an alliance with edelgard, Monica being herself, the lack of edelgard's weapon, having a new god who seems to be the agarthan counterpart to sothis.
This is a really stupid theory, but what if purple-haired dude was a resurrected + rejuvenated version of Jeralt that the Agarthans somehow tampered with? They both have facial scars, outfits with an orange color scheme, and somewhat similar looking hairstyles, and the color of his hair could've changed in a way similar to how Byleth's did. Also, the fact that Byleth's sword in the trailer breaks during the fight might be a nod to Jeralt's nickname.
Again I highly doubt this'll be the case, but it is interesting to see that Jeralt might play a part in Three Hopes somehow.

Edel's new axe looks a bit like the Spear of Assal, only with the blades made bigger and the stabby part removed. I guess if they're both Sacred weapons it would make sense for then to have similar constructions.
The promise of the house leaders getting supports together is actually really compelling and now I *sorely want that-*

I hope Monica is alive and playable. For some reason I'm very intrigued with what her character could be.
Her very different design (assuming she is indeed Monica) suggests it's likely her post-timeskip one, which is wild to think about.
I wonder if Cindered Shadows added in that crumb of Van Ochs lore in the Balthus paralogue because they were planning on making it important for this game

@@blueblade6174Basic run down of the DLC story, you have to work with a hidden fourth house that lives in Gareg Mach to stop a crazy priest from getting his hands on a chalice that can bring people back from the dead with help from the three house leaders, Hilda, Linhardt, and Ashe. As for the DLC paralouges, Balthus has to kill a noble to get his Hero's Relic back with help from Hapi and Yuri and Constance have to save the Minister of Foreign Affairs from TWSITD and they are rewarded with a relic that becomes Yuri's.

I'm excited as hell for this game. I know this is a big request on my end, but my only wish is for unique fighting styles based on character, not on the weapons. The last Warriors had a lot of repetition on axe, bow, and magic users, only differing when using specials and awakening specials. It's not a dealbreaker if they don't, but if they do I would be over the moon with joy.
And maybe an AI tweak? I know the AI tends to idle a lot in Warriors games.
Age of Calamity did a really good job having everyone have vastly different fighting styles, so hopefully Three Hopes follows through on that. We probably won't get to play as every playable character from the OG game though.
It seems more probable that characters of the same archetype will have different strengths/skills similar to how they function in 3 Houses. I can see Caspar and Raphael having the same moveset with different strengths just like in 3 Houses.
My hope is that, if we do get all the students from each house as playable characters, and they don’t have their own unique play styles, then at least make it so that each character can equip different weapons from each other so that each unit has a unique combination of play styles (I.E like how Link fights differently when using the Fire Rod as opposed to a sword). That way, even though the characters have similar movesets, there will still be enough justification to use one unit other than another (besides stat differences).
About the AI: while the AI is pretty bad in both hyrule warriors games, from what i’ve heard, the fire emblem warriors AI is actually really solid. Like, you tell a unit to go to a fort while you do something else, switch back over to them and they’ve already captured it. So, if that AI returned, i’d be happy with it.
About the roster: hyrule warriors definitive edition has 29 characters. As some characters have different weapons with different movesets, that makes for a total of 41 unique playstyles. Three Houses has byleth, 8 black eagles, 8 blue lions, 8 golden deer, and 9 church of seiros characters. That’s 34. Counting dlc, we also have jeritza, anna and the 4 ashen wolves, bringing us up to 40 characters. Assuming that jeritza and anna won’t be in the game (or at least not playable), that would leave some more space for maybe rhea, sothis or some new characters.
My point is, it is absolutely possible for koei tecmo to come up with enough unique movesets for all students. They’ve done so before.

Three Houses is the only Fire Emblem game I’ve played so far (love it).
Looks like I can enjoy my favorite characters in a new style of game/alternate story. COOL!
I honestly LOVE Hubert's new look - even more than the original designs in Three Houses. He just looks so good.

My crackpot theory is this, Byleth and the 3 Lords all get some kind of time travel memories. Why I think this is.
1)Claude and Edelgard's talking about "ambition" and "miracles" and Claude saying, "now that I know". They both now know about each other's plans and the Agarthans, they can now debate on why the other fought and how their lack of information made them both mess up.
2)This also explains Dimitri's line about throwing away the past. This is post-arc Dimitri. He remembers everything from Azure Moon, thus he remembers just how far he fell and how much good he can now do.
3)The green aura around Byleth never appears in Houses, so maybe that is actually a scene from either the other timeline(s) or just after she returned, she's unlocking more of Sothis' power and her new Divine Pulse was so strong the others got dragged into it.
4)Finally this also explains the scene of Edelgard and Dimitri clashing and Claude interrupting them. They are fighting because they kill each other in various timelines, they think they have to. But they are also both more healed than before thus they aren't as determined about it and willing to stop if interrupted. Also, why Claude interrupts them, he now understands both of their issues and thinks he can talk them around, rather than just letting them kill each other again.
Ghast: Finally finishes Dimitri, Edelgard and is maybe working in a Claude’s support Science.

I think the funniest thing for me was Hubert’s design and how I didn’t notice Hilda guarding Claude with her Friekugal. I thought for some silly reason it was the Failnaught

It could be Byleth somehow time traveling(mega-divine pulse?) to chapter 1 and warning the Church about the Empire's plans to invade Garreg Mach, forcing Edelgard to rush her plans and losing to the Immaculate One. This would explain why Byleth wouldn't have the Sword of the Creator, and probably Monica(?) not being Kronya.
The war starts and a few years later a new invasion to the Monastery takes place, where Edelgard and Dimitri would've been convinced by Claude to stop the war and join forces againts those who slither in the dark, revealing the new antagonist
I almost didn't recognize Dimitri at first either, and came to the same conclusion as you had initially: *Lambert.*
About the new gauge in Claude's UI, I feel it has something to do with his wyvern. It's nowhere to be seen when Claude's dismounted and it shows two fireball-looking icons when he's mounted. Maybe the wyvern can shoot fireballs? I don't know how that could work in either gameplay or lore, but it'd be a cool addition to any wyvern rider's moveset.
i mean, when you stop and think about the idea of a wyvern... wyverns are dragons. dragons are known for breathing fire. technically all the dragons in Skyrim would be considered wyverns, and a good amount of them breathe fire. why not fire breathing wyverns in Fire Emblem? I could call to Camilla and Minerva in FEW1 with some of their strong attacks and Warrior Special (at least in Camilla's case), cause unless you know where else a giant rock can be set on fire from characters on top of dragons that have no access to magic in their playstyle... my guess is it was the Wyverns lighting those boulders on fire?
Just to point out, on Nintendo's website, it states that if you buy the game digitally, an owl with a "surprise" (I'm paraphrasing here) will appear "outside Byleth's quarters," so I think Gareg Mach will be traversable in the game in some form.

Maybe I am way, way off the mark, I have a theory that all 4 routes from Three Houses are actually canon, and this game is essentially another route, but this time the characters are able to learn from the mistakes they've made previously or something. Thats what I thought Claude meant when he said he won't make the same mistakes again, and Edelgard referring to her fate or whatever. Essentially, since we know you can turn back time in the canon, and Byleth even tries to do it to save Jeralt, who is to say that eventually they are able to turn back time even further, and each route is canon in an attempt to make things right?
I agree. The other god might be a enemy cause of time messing that sothis is doing after all there is a entire race of people like her in another world.
I wonder how large the roster will be. Three Houses has 40 total playable characters. 40 is a tall order for completely different move sets in a Warriors game. We are more than likely to see less than 40. Curious to see of CYL results play into who is playable.

I think the timeline between Chapter 8: The Flame in the Darkness and Chapter 10 : Where the Goddess Dwells is interesting to interpret about.
If its going to be a what if situation; the writer might possibly scrap out the whole Solon's arc with the new Antagonist, Solon's only relevant between Chap 8 -Chap 10, and his whole arc doesn't affect the general plot of Three Houses much other than as a plot setup for Byleth - Sothis fusion and Jeralts death.
(If Jeralts death still relevant to the story w/o Solon)
In the main game, during the post Jeralts death gap (Chap 9-10), a short conversation happened between Monica , Thales and the Flame Emperor after Thales saved Monica from Byleth's attack (after Jeralts death). Thales tells Monica shes need to do sth and shes happy to cooperate with Solon. Here the writer can stretch Monica's lifespan to a new branching plot since Solon is no longer relevant. Her new role is still remain unknown.
Kronia was so underused in the main game, it was almost criminal to waste such an interesting character design and potential just for one cutscene. I sure hope Monica/Kronia get the attention she deserves.
Actually Solon did have an huge impact on the story. His plan buried Sothis deep into Byleth's consciousness and allows them to follow anyone without her influence.
Gonna go out on a limb here and declare the whole story. The one opposite of sothis on the box is another God in fodlan's universe and upset over sothis' death/merge with byleth and so they turn back time (kind of like the way we can in three houses) and it starts a whole alt history thing with the unknown God attempting to get revenge on those who "injured" sothis and who changed the normal cycle of death and rebirth of the gods; thus the two quotes about cycles and revenge.
If this game is anything like Age of Calamity, Jeralt probably won't die. I hope for more interaction between Jeralt and Byleth in this game.
Im not a fan of Warriors gameplay, but the very idea of Edelgard/Dimitri/Claude supports is insanely attractive

I'm 95% certain that the 'mysterious voice' at the start of the trailer is Female Byleth. If you listen to her voiced lines in FEH, it's practically identical, right down to the 'Rhea but deeper' vibes. Listen to them back to back: that's Byleth!
If Byleth is actually voiced and is no longer a silent protagonist, that's... Good and bad. On one hand, it might help reduce the 'boring by design' criticism the character gets. On the other, voicing the character twice could be an extra cost and might suggest that Bylad really is being decanonized for this game. Who knows? I'm eager either way!
That's a tough one... i'm not sure, if i like the idea of MByleth being cut. Actually, no, i actually don't like the idea. Would it lessen my hype for this game...? Sadly yes, i'm afraid. I have 0 emotional connection to FByleth

like i said above, we DID legit see Judith get her shit wrecked by Edelgard in this trailer, so... maybe we'll finally see her in a playable role unless she pulls a Darios from FE Warriors 1 and turns out to be a traitor disguised as an ally (this is actually why Darios is never actually playable in Fire Emblem Warriors 1)

This game looks so good. I really hope that it includes all the characters from three houses because I know that other Warriors games like Warriors Orochi 4 had over 100 characters, so maybe three hopes can have the like 50 necessary for the main cast and the villains.

Since Sothis' powers (that we see) revolve around time, the powers that Purple has are all about space, being able to teleport or some such.

I don't know if someone pointed out this yet, but the axe Edelgard is wielding is Hauteclere, and it does exist in the game, although it's tied to luck whether it drops from a monster to be forged or not.

This game seems like it will do the same thing Age of Calamity did of complimenting the original game with a Golden Route where all the characters get some kind of happy ending that is nonetheless separate from the original story.
Nice analysis Ghast. I am hyped for this, already preordered. Really excited for more Fodlan lore to be revealed and potentially have a lot of loose ends tied up and a nice golden ending to soothe all the tragedy of 3 Houses.
I am so excited for this game after watching this analysis, tbh! During the stream, I was a little disappointed we weren't getting a new game in a new world, but already this warriors game has (at least during this teaser trailer and broken down in this video) better models, better cut scene graphics, interesting mechanisms for playing the maps... And to know that potentially we can have the Three Heroes and all the other characters join in to fight together, it seems like the "Fire Emblem Fates: Revelations" route 😏
Also, I thought that the hand over Dimitri's in the little scene 6:20 was Dedue's! Since we saw Hubert and Hilda, it would make sense to include Dedue as Dimitri's retainer in the first roster of characters :D
I also think that we won't get all the characters right away, but as DLC perhaps?

Definitely a good analysis. Content relating to the greater implications of the trailer (ex. If Nemesis will make another unceremonious return, or if the revenge referred to might be Byleth avenging Jeralt) would be welcomed.

I'm almost positive on two things:
1. Sothis is playable, we don't see the creator sword in the trailer or on the cover art. Which also means that Rhea has a higher chance of being playable as perhaps sothis was never killed. Plus Edelgard doesn't use aymr which implies my next point.
2. The possibility of 3 separate paths is unlikely. We see Claude and dimitri fighting, then later fighting together back to back. They could make it so that there's 3 paths that start out and then converge. But I highly doubt they'll separate the three game plays as the game is labeled as a different path. Also with the presence of a new enemy, it makes sense to have all three lords fight together
I just know that if they can have supports im gonna cry, thx for the análisis ghast this made me be more hype for the game

Okay, this theory seems to be in everyone’s mind, and I have to keep saying this, Aymr isn’t finished being built until AFTER the Five Year Timeskip, and judging by this game’s setting, if there IS a Timeskip, we won’t be seeing a Huge one like Three Houses, honestly, either only a Year or Two, or hell even a Few Months.

I wanted this game to happen ever since I played FEW in 2018. I loved that game very much and it felt like it fit FE formula better then most other warrior franchises.
Also I really hope there will be performance mode like in first game. I don't need everything to look as good if I will have good framerate, but remembering Hyrule Warriors age of calamity I have low hopes for that

5. you get Celica from Gaiden and Lyn from Blazing Blade (or Fire Emblem Rekka no Ken in Japan or simply Fire Emblem in the West on the GBA) both on History mode maps in FEW1
