I think your right you probably appreciate TJs so much more than people who have access to it . Even though I was obsessed even though I shopped there every week at one time. Now it’s an hour away and I go twice a year now😮
The Mint Watermelon tea is superb iced! I don't even brew it hot. I just put some bags in a big Mason jar with water overnight and it's delicious in the morning.
Such a great, generous box! Can't wait for part 2! I've been following you guys for years now and there is some American candy that I have never seen you try. I grew up near the Annabelle factory in Hayward, CA and they make a wide variety of Rocky Road candy bar flavors plus Big Hunk, Look, Uno, and Abba-Zaba. I have watched every tasting video and I don't remember you trying any of these candies.
Kate and Alex, all this talk about Trader Joe's is making me hungry. Kate, you just keep getting more and more adorable as the years go by, especially with your adorable accent.
Just wanted to say that I've had those baby dried bananas before from holland and barret! Used to get them all the time as a kid up here in Scotland! They are delishhhhhh
Hello guys, haven't been online, my Mother who is 85 had found out she had kidney cancer and I had been staying with her while she was recoveringPA. Having her kidney removed and she doesn't have wifi or anything so it was a big adjustment for me LOL! But I am happy to say she is "Cancer Free "and is doing well, I live 3 hours away from her so I was away from my hubby and son for a few months. I will have to binge watch what I have missed. I hope you both have a great weekend ahead, hugs from Lancaster,Pa.😘
🦉 Great selection of delights !! I went to Trader Joe’s a couple of days ago. I was on a mission to buy the lemon 🍋 pirouettes you featured on a short video. I couldn’t find them. A worker was so sweet and looked them up in the computer. They are seasonal and not in stock. I wanted to buy some for the ladies in my group. But I did buy the fantastic maple 🍁 leaf cream cookies. I learned about them from you 2 !! They did not disappoint. I also got the UNBELIEVABLE coffee ice cream. And I always buy their nuts and dried organic cranberries. I had not been in along time ! Thanks for the fun ! Blessings again from California ! 🍫
It's ok Kate. When I was younger I remember a commercial for Frito Lay corn chips and they showed them being put in soup, next to a sandwich or eating them alone.
Hi Kate and Alex! You're so fun to watch. I really enjoyed this trip through Trader Joe's. I am curious to know what is considered a "warm day" where you live. I've always thought the Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR) had similar weather; however, we've been experiencing consistently horrid 37°C days and I was wondering if the same was true for you.
Hey Lori! So happy to hear this. Sounds like we are very similar then as we have been having two big heat waves recently with days 36/37 with our highest temperature in London hitting 40!! So so crazy to see this weather here. Normal summers mid to late 20’s and occasionally early 30’s! Hope you can stay cool
What about the milk chocolate and dark chocolate Laceys? Toffee and chocolate cookies. You have to try them! Milk or dark chocolate laced With toffee! Very indulgent
Since Trader Joe's has many seasonal items and are always introducing new items, it's very fun and exciting. It's sad though when you fall in love with an item and it's gone for the season or gone forever. I too love both those sparking juices! I prefer the pineapple. I think they may only be here for the summer, but I bet they'll be back since they are popular. The butter waffle cookies are here all year round. They are my favorite! There was a great line up this summer and I'll miss them a lot (esp the sparkling juices), but I am looking forward to fall goodies coming in! I'm looking forward to the second video!
Most Trader Joe’s products (~80% or so) are just rebranded items from other companies, and some others are based on other companies’ items, but customized for Trader Joe’s (TJs to me). I live a block away from one, so go at least once a week or so. I don’t care for the blue dolphin Scandinavian Swimmers, but the rest are really good. They also have packages of just the lobster ones.
I bought those hazelnut cookies on a whim the last time I was at TJs. The first one I kinda thought “meh” but they really grew on me and I ended up loving them. Oh! And I originally had baby bananas in a college biology class and they are so different from standard bananas... I might have to look for those dried ones!
You can buy food dryers , it’s very easy to make your own, Amazon probably has them. 😂🤣I used to dry a lot of things by just putting my oven on the lowest setting , slicing and placing on parchment paper on baking sheets and leave the door a bit ajar and that worked too. Hadn’t tried banana though, I would if I was still drying food but since it’s just me it’s easier to buy some. I’d love to have some of the butter cookies right now, just finished a jacket potato and salad and something sweet and buttery with a cuppa would just finish it off perfectly. 🥰🙋🏼♀️
I’ve got to get to Trader Joe’s to try some stuff! Those bananas and drinks for sure! I haven’t gotten them since I was figuring it was gonna be watered down, but now I’m excited to try them! I love their pineapple juice. It’s made in Taiwan and always the perfect sweetness. Just pineapples is ingredients. Hope you’re having such a wonderful week! And wishing you such a beautiful week ahead! ❤️❤️ all our hugs and love😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Those bananas were insane!! Never seen a dried fruit like it and so plump and juicy!!! Yeah the drinks were lovely. A good amount of flavour 👌🏻👌🏻 delicious 😋 I love pineapple juice. Will have to try that next time we’re in the US!! That sounds perfect. Hope you’re having a fabulous week too. Wishing you a wonderful weekend 😘♥️😘♥️😘♥️😘♥️😘♥️😘♥️😘♥️
OK, it's time to make another trip to Trader Joe's. I gotta have some of the pineapple seltzer and baby bananas. And of course anything with hazelnut. Have a good one.
Kate, in the U.S. my Granny would call the potpourri filled small bags to scent her 'undies' drawer a Sachet. Not to be confused with Sashay which is to walk in a flirty or sassy manner....You know, the way Alex does sometimes! hahaha Just kidding. I wish a Trader Joe's was closer to my house...I'd probably go crazy. Cheers All.
I got to go to a Trader Joe’s while on vacation this summer. I wish I had picked out even more treats! The location I went to seemed small. Unless they’re all sort of small? It was my first time going. ❤️
My last trip to Trader Joe's I came out with nothing. There was a lot of high prices and no selection. Also a woman who parked her cart in the middle of the aisle and walked away and got mad when we moved it over to get around, lol. I might or might not go back during the holidays.
the elote dippers are perfect with a layered bean dip!!!!!!! please try it!! 1st layer - refried beans 2nd layer- sour cream 3rd- avocado/guac if you want 4th- sour cream 5th- shredded cheese and top with diced tomatoes, black olives and green onion (chive)!!!!
We just got home from Hawaii ( the BIG island) and we got those bananas from Costco. I it took along time for them to ripen. But they were really nice !! Blessings from California. 🐬
Hi 👋. I’ve tried every one of those except the banana ones. I drive out of my way for Trader Joe’s. The butter crackers, make for a unique & delicious tiramisu yummy 😋 had to use them in a pinch 1 time. Your Instagram lake Como my favorite 😍 place to vacation Life is good 👍 💕
Hey Lynda!! That’s awesome you’ve tried so much of this. You’ll have to try the bananas next time! Ooo great shout for the tiramisu!! Would add a nice crunch too. It’s beautiful in lake como isn’t it! So pleased you love it here too!! 🥰🥰🥰
So happy you guys liked the box! ♥️Kate - that comment was so funny, “the orange is an endangered species, there are barely any orange in the bag”. 😂
I'm impressed with the quick turnaround!!
Darn- looks like I’m making a trip to Trader Joe’s this weekend 😋🤣❤️
Haha fabulous...treat of the week...'Everything'!! 🤣🤣

Those are great candies !! I don’t always see them around though. I should scout around now, you made me hungry !! Blessings from California. 🍫 🍡
15:51 really Kate. You must try. It is heaven. Here in Holland we also have these. That with Some ice Cream between 2 cookies is a serious delight
Kate and Alex, all this talk about Trader Joe's is making me hungry. Kate, you just keep getting more and more adorable as the years go by, especially with your adorable accent.
I know right! Me too! Thank you very much
Love Trader Joe's! So excited you guys did this video. Now I will know what to look out for at my local Trader Joe's 😊
I live in LA and I literally have a trader joes in the basement of my building so I'm for sure going to have to try a bunch of these snacks now!
Just wanted to say that I've had those baby dried bananas before from holland and barret! Used to get them all the time as a kid up here in Scotland! They are delishhhhhh

I’m loving this upload time, sit down with my lunch at work and get hungry for everything I didn’t bring in my lunch 😂 Much love as always!
Perfect time for lunch but not perfect when you don’t get to eat the things too hahaha. Hope work is going well. Enjoy watching 🥰💕
i really love your videos so great for watching in beth! lot of love from belgium :D
Got my British Candy Box and my new favorite flavor is black currant! We don’t get that here in the US. Love it!
Actually, we do have the occasional black currant jam in stores. I get it at Fred Meyer (Kroger).
@@pacmanc8103 in south Alabama we don’t have Kroger anymore! I’ll have to look around at different stores. Thanks!
The watermelon mint tea is great iced.

Elote corn chips with the green goddess dip from trader joes is a great combo 👌

I’m waiting to see Bob’s picture cushion on the couch 😀
Ahhhh I think we need to make this happen!!!
I recently got the matcha ice cream and a dark chocolate covered Bamba from there ☺
They are so good and 100% worth a try.

Compared to other grocery stores, I would say Trader Joe's are small, you're right.
I need to do a trader joe’s run now I haven’t been there in a while

Ah no way! That’s such a shame. Yeah off peak will be much more enjoyable. Hate shops when they’re packed!!
the elote dippers are perfect with a layered bean dip!!!!!!! please try it!!
1st layer - refried beans
2nd layer- sour cream
3rd- avocado/guac if you want
4th- sour cream

Cacio is pronounced catch-oh, the i is there to make the ch sound with the c. A bit like the g in Natalie Imbruglia’s surname. Italian is complicated!
the baby bananas are called apple bananas and are much sweeter than regular bananas! they’re very common in Hawaii
Ahhh awesome!!! They were delicious 😋
We just got home from Hawaii ( the BIG island) and we got those bananas from Costco. I it took along time for them to ripen. But they were really nice !! Blessings from California. 🐬
Scandinavian Swimmers is obviously because they can’t call them Swedish Fish!
Hey y’all from GA 👋🏾
Hey 😀😀
Went to Google what Baby Bananas are. My mum calls them Indian Bananas, maybe because her family bought them from Indian shopkeepers in the past.
