@@ToyGalaxy I loved Street Fighter then switched over to Mortal Kombat when it came out. But the Jada Toys Street Fighter line is killing it. I'm all in. I'm hoping eventually they get the Mortal Kombat license.
I feel like Nemesis Immortal is gonna hit a lot of Dan's usual trigger points, since he's basically the midpoint between Joe and a Mystic Legions fig.

I'm just impressed you got the Savage Crucible figures to stand
They would be so solid without toe articulation. Like, the most solidly standing action figures on the shelf with those big, big feet.
@@NickDoobs they are suppose to be sending out new ankles, but many have glued the toes. The toe articulation is an mis step (😂) most of the time.

@mamunestor I've seen someone else say that in comments. That's great news! Rob seems like a perfectionist and not the type of person to let this issue go unfixed. Have they said if they will be the same just with tighter joints or are they sending out new feet without toe articulation? I still love these figures. Just hate having to find stands for them.

Jada Toys Street Fighter figures blows all these figures out of the competition in every aspect of design and articulation. These “Top Ten” videos always reminds me of those arguments saying a certain place has the best hot wings without trying other locations. I don’t care if you’re a Mortal Kombat guy but Jada’s street fighter figures is the best company of 2024.
Mafex Knightfall Batman is also easily in top 3

Agreed. Even if you are not a fan of the SF games you should still consider getting the figures. The character designs alone are awesome.
Love these lists! And if I had my own action figure, it would never leave the top spot.
Always enjoy these top 10s. Agree with you every time on vehicles. Great they exist, nice to have them, but they take up way too much shelf space!
On the flip, I love toe articulation when it is done right. It gives way more options when posing and makes action poses look more authentic.
I think these are my favorite toy vids now. I really look forward to them. And I’m with you on the toe articulation. Waste of a joint and unnecessary break in the line imo.

I know I am late asking but what happened to “Toy Galaxy”? I subscribed to this channel and Secret Galaxy but I never get notifications even though I have them on. I have to search for the videos!!!
Another fun thought process video, another figure or two I passed up previously- oh in Dan’s hand on a white background, suddenly want it.
I'm somehow always looking forward to these, and always missing that we've changed quarters, so the Top 10 videos are always a pleasant surprise. Finally, pulled the trigger on SG-01 while watching.

@@ToyGalaxy before I found your channels, I was on the verge of starting an animation cel collection of all the obscure cartoons that came and went in my childhood, from the 80s and 90s. Now, I can just point people to you, to prove those things weren't just the fever dreams of a child. You've saved me a lot of money, and wall space.

Props for keeping Captain Carrot in the top ten. I’ve been meaning to pick him up myself. The second comic I ever bought was an issue of CC and the Zoo Crew.

Just picked up the Yolopark Megatron and Prime. I like them both but i do prefer Megatron. Prime definitely feels more fiddly to me too. Im probably in for Soundwave and Starscream

Dan, are you going in on those Hiya classic-scale Joes? I only grabbed a few to replace 25th / POC figs that we never got definitive versions of (Bludd, Baronness, Lady Jaye, Flint), but it's interesting to see the Classified designs in classic scale.
If they ever even ship, that is.
They look really great but I think I'm good with Classified. Not that I have anything against 1/18. I have lots of Joy Toy, Boss Fight etc. I just don't need another Joe line.
@@ToyGalaxy Yeah, can't see myself being any sort of completionist on it... really the big gap filler for me is FINALLY getting a good 4" Baroness, who Hasbro swung and missed on about ten times.
Not a lot of changes right now, but looking at the annoucements for Q3-4 I'm expecting some monumental shifts.
FYI, I've got Transformers Legacy United Magmatron confortably in the lead for my own list. 😜

I got my Beachhead on Amazon. It was pushed back twice and then one day just suddenly switched to "out for delivery."
I haven't bought a toy in a couple years, had to stop collecting for a while, but the Bastet and Anubis might be my 1st purchases in a long while. Those look fantastic and I'm a sucker for ancient Egyptian gods. I've always wanted figures of both and never thought they'd exist. Thanks for bringing them to my attention.
Always dig these videos!!! But this is the first time ever that I would've made absolutely the same elims! Do feel you should try some of the Turtles of Grayskull deluxe figures and Jada's Street Fighter, Megaman or Cereal characters.
Since I'm not really a TMNT fan that line is an easy pass for me. Not that they aren't cool, I'm just looking for ANY reason to not start a line or pickup a figure because I already collect SO MUCH. Same thing goes for the Jada lines. They are amazing. I have all the Universal Monsters they released so I know they are quality figures. It's also the kind of thing where the decision has kind of been made for me. With Street Fighter I basically said "I'm not going to preorder them, but if I see them in store I'll probably grab them." And then I never saw them in store because my stores just don't get new stuff like that. I saw Ken ONCE. But someone had taken all the accessories out.
I was wondering when this update was going to show up. A pleasant reminder of the unrelenting march of time 😅

I don't own any JoyToy anything but your video inspired me to order that army builder bounty hunter. Love giving indie companies a chance. Like having a little bit of everything in my collection.
I really should do something similar with my collection, it's so hard for me to actually narrow down my favorite figures of the year and end up running in circles just saying "yeah, theyre all the best of the year".
Making those hard choices would force me to stop being so indecisive
Glen if this was up to me, both yolopark items would stay, as well as the savage crucible, and snout spout. And I guess, captain 🥕. Because some mcfartlane figs are badass 👍
Where do you buy your joytoy figures? Really been wanting to give them a try ahead of maybe getting there turtles when they release.

Your figures look great. Hope to pick them up one day. Do you take them to conventions with you?
They're so new and they've sold out so quickly that I can't really say that I have a policy yet. If I have them in stock I plan on taking them.

Not a big Joe collector, but I'm looking forward to the upcoming Iron Grenadier. I'm most excited for some of the Monster Force stuff that is just months away now. The second half of this year is going to be awesome for figgies.

Your own toys at 1 and 2 does feel a little Trumpesque.
I would recommend looking at Gi Joe Classified Quick Kick, Torpedo and Transformers Shard.
Quick Kick is great. But he was eliminated in my earlier video back in March. Torpedo I had in hand last year so he was a 2023 pickup for me. Shard looks great, but I'm on a bit of a TF break right now.
Already have my eyes on that deth head legend hasbro exclusive... im hoping to get in that line..

FH have great sculpture and paint but the articulation isn't very good. For $50+ theirs a lot of 3rd party companies killing it.

You really need to pick up Jada's Street Fighter line. Best action figures on the market in terms of quality and value. If you only get 1, I recommend M. Bison.

I have been a fan of SG-01 since its conception. Idk why, but I never picked up that SG stood for "Secret Gear", always assumed it was "Secret Galaxy" lol.
I’ve cone around to your line of thinking with toe articulation. Spider-Man can have it. He’s the only one who needs it. Otherwise it sucks.

Technically, Megatron is a 2023 release.
Yeah sometimes things are right on the line of previous year/current year. I preordered Megs and didn't have him in hand until 2024 so I counted him as this year.
With you on the Savage Crucible figures’ toe articulation. It’s just way too loose with all the other ratchet joints. I wish they came with alternative solid feet.
The toe articulation isn't that bad when it's not half the dam foot.
It's funny you mentioned the "Kenner Fett had a black Stormtrooper rifle" because I have the Vintage Collection Kenner Boba and while he's been rocking a gray rifle and I think it looks good, I just gave him a solid black one (without the silver paint detail) and it does look pretty slick.
Just one of those nostalgia hooks buried deep in my brain. I can't even look at it objectively.

It's very nice but I had to disqualify it because it wasn't a piece I was going to buy. Poseability is great, I love the tiny key, never been a big fan of the Cybertronian ship mode.
@@ToyGalaxy I was just hoping the if you found it on clearance you might have picked it up logic might have gotten it past that line. Maybe if you had a wishlist for toys that were on the line for you, that only patrons/members could access, that could get on the list.
I have no attachment to the ship or that version of the character. But I think it's a cool robot for something that transforms, and in that was also kind of up your alley. Obviously with the yolo park being a thing, I guess you have less need of that, and I can get that (except for cassettes, I want my cassettes to transform, and Dino bots that I prefer as Dinos)

Technically they're referred to as "model kits" from Yolopark but they're more like a build a figure. Just attach the arms and legs and start posing.
