Guacamole Recipe | How to make fresh guacamole

  • Guacamole is an authentic Mexican dip that can be enjoyed with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, toasts, or on its own. There is no trick to making it and the list of ingredients is very simple. However, you should know that exact proportions in this dish don't always work. It really depends on the ripeness of the avocado, the acidity of the lime, the strength of the onion, pepper, etc. So, I propose following this guacamole recipe and adjusting it to your taste as you go.
    Ingredients
    4 Avocados (500g of flesh)
    1 Onion (50g)
    1 Green Bell Pepper (120g)
    1 Hot Pepper (20g)
    1 Tomato (100g of flesh)
    Juice of 1 Lime (40ml)
    Parsley leaves 5g
    Celery leaves 5g
    Salt 1g
    Weight ~ 840g (for 4-6 persons)
    Instruction
    1.Halve and seed the avocados, then scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl.
    2. Season with salt to taste and mash the avocados with a fork to preferred consistency.
    3.Squeeze the lime juice into the mixing bowl using a juicer or the fork to break up the membranes and release the juice
    4.Peel and finely chop the onion, bell pepper, hot pepper and some fresh leaves herbs. Dice the tomato (use only the seedless part).
    5. Mix everything well and it's ready to be served.
