To be honest, I never cried over a celebrity before but when Robin died I really cried my heart out. The guy was part of my childhood in the 90s. Brought me and many others so many great films like Jack. When I go to sleep at night I do cast my eyes to the sky and even the brightest star in the sky I think of him. Thank you so much for the memories Robin and may your soul rest in peace.

Robin, taught me everything I know through his films. He taught what it meant to be friends, what it meant to have a family, what it meant to save a life. It's for him that I want to be an actor now, it's because of him that I will push for my dream no matter what the barrier. For any of you whom actually read this, thank you, you showed me the kindness that Robin Williams would have shown to any of his friends.

Just recently heard this for the first time! It’s a heart breaking speech because it sounds like he’s actually saying goodbye and not acting. And yet it is comforting as if even with the sadness he’s saying “it will be ok.” Mr. Williams had a real talent for delivering that kind of speech. And like a shooting star he burned brightly, turning the night to day! So sad that brightness hid such pain. But through his performances he graced us with laughter, comfort, and invaluable life lessons lessening our darkness and pain. RIP Mr. Williams.

Jack [his speech at the graduation] I don't have very much time these days so I'll make it quick. Like my life. You know as we come to the end of this phase of our lives, we find ourselves trying to remember the good times and trying to forget the bad times, and we find ourselves thinking about the future. We start to worry, thinking "What am I gonna do?", "Where am I gonna be in ten years?". But I say to you, "Hey, look at me". Please, don't worry so much, because in the end none of us have very long on this earth - life is fleeting. And if you're ever distressed, cast your eyes to the summer sky when the stars are strung across the velvety night, and when a shooting star streaks through the blackness turning night into day, make a wish and think of me. Make your life spectacular. I know I did. I made it, mum! I'm a grown up.

He's always had a way of speaking to people from his heart. Doesn't matter who you are, he's always had a way to help people. He was a true hero. He didn't be nice and inspiring to make money, he did it because he cared about his fans. A true hero does it for others and never themselves. You were a true hero Robin. You will always be missed.

I just watched this movie for the first time and it hurt to hear him say this 😢 To know that was as heartfelt as it sounded and to know he’s gone. Truly a wonderful guy that is gone too soon

Robin Williams was like a favorite uncle and mentor who I never met. His characters helped me so much through my growing years, and I never got to thank him.
Thank you, Robin. For your kindness, spirit, and inspiration. Even at my low points, you remind me to be there for my friends. If, everyday, I can make someone I love laugh and smile, I feel I've done my job. I love you.

This man was a hero of mine. When I heard what happened it broke my heart. I hope that he is at peace but most of all that he knows how much the world loved him and how all his fans miss him. REST IN PEACE. 🧞‍♂️

I miss Robin so much 😭 he made my childhood. I have never cried so much at a celebrity death as I did when my Dad told me Robin had passed. I think it was because he was a big part of a lot of people’s childhoods and lives. Always making us smile and laugh.

Robin Williams had a form of dementia, and was often confused. God doesn't punish you for that
