Today, I'm comparing the new ColourPop Boss Brow Gel in Soft Black to the Glossier Boy Brow. Now, the Boy Brow has been my HG for a while, so let's hope the ColourPop can beat it because it's a whopping $10 cheaper than the Boy Brow!! That's two halal orders there :')

I've always thought my eye brows hairs were spars then I tinted my brows and realized I had blond hairs and now my hairs are going gray I tint them so that I don't look crazy.

So helpful! I’ve been using Boy Brow in brown and I love the hold, but the color basically matches my skin tone and doesn’t fill in gaps well - it looks like Boss Brow Gel in soft black would be the PERFECT color for me. I’m so glad I found your video!

Haha it's a mix of the peripera ink the velvet lip tint in shade 001-sellout red and the mamonde creamy tint color balm intense in shade #23 - brick rose! Thanks for watching :)

Is the color pop one more buildable? I like my brows dark and strong but they’re almost similar to yours and I’m tiered of using 2-4 products to get the look. I’m think of getting this.

sorry this is super unrelated but between the moonshot cushion and the hera black cushion, which one has higher coverage? Thanks :)
The moonshot cushion is high coverage and the hera black cushion is medium coverage. The hera cushion isn't really build-able. Also, shade 25 in the hera cushion is a tad bit lighter and pinker than the moonshot face perfection balm cushion in shade 23. Hope this helps! 😊

Would you say that I get build up the glossier if it’s too sheer on the first coat?
The glossier formula has more hold than the colourpop one, so it sets pretty fast. I'm not sure if it's that build-able 😮

LOL no problem! 💕 I applied peripera's ink the velvet lip tint in shade 001-sellout red all over and blotted most of it off, then layered mamonde's creamy tint color balm intense in shade 23- brick rose just in the center for a gradient effect. Hope that helps!

Do you still prefer the boy brow? Also, have you tried the clear in either of the brow gels? I'm looking for a good clear one :')
I have tried both in clear and they work the same to me. The only difference I have felt is the Colourpop one ends up feeling more of a pomade (in the brows) than Glossier's.
Which is odd to me because Glossier's tinted boy brow feels like a pomade but the clear one just feels like a gel.
I haven't tried the clear formulas yet but I want to hop on the feathery brows trend so I've been eyeing them LOL. Also, for everyday makeup I prefer the boy brow because it's a little more forgiving

I use the glossier boy brow in black! I haven't tried the clear ones yet--it's on my list though haha

The brows color can't be the same colors as your hair , it supposed to be 2 or 3 tones lighter, but if you want black, use black, it's a free country xD

They both look like make-up you slept in and this is the next morning. Try micro-blading .. it will save you SO much messing about and will last for a year.
