    Norm deserves every title in the PBA. Even if he loses to someone, he should get the win. Keep on bowling Norm

    Way to go Norm!! I really like Norm Duke because not only is he a great bowler, but he's also a very humble person. He's a very down to earth kind of man. 🙂🎳

    Norm Duke is a gangster. No other way to put it. Mark Roth may have been 'the OG' when it comes to release, pin carry, etc....but NO ONE could change hand positions, speeds, etc....like the 'Lil Gangster.
    The MAN. :)

    A title should not be a 1 game match. Case in point. A bowler lost the first 2 games but won the 3 game series

    Norm Dukes parents owned the bowling alley in my hometown when he was growing up. My dad was good friends with Norm and his brother Micah and my dad has so many stories about how Norm was taking grown mens money in pot bowling games when Norm was a very young man! His mom tried to keep him innocent but he was just to good and bowling is and was a money game especially back then! And just a lil hometown something that only Norms friends from back then know is that his nickname from back then was “Juicy”! My aunt still calls him Juicy when talking about him to this day

    Can anyone tell me why Pedersen and Stone say amadure instead of amateur? I have looked it up and there is no such word as amadure.

    stratocastor0842, are you kidding? Any good bowler should be ONLY focused on his shot! Not sounds around him. Pins being
    struck in a bowling alley should not be unusual. Why would that distract anyone? And that other comment is unnecessary!!
    Not cool!

    • @lynettepalecek3141

      He was just nervous and he asked for a rerake so that he could get his composure. You'll notice that he changed his mind right away.

    Funny how at 41:18 you hear a pins striking noise in the background (precisely at the top of Chris' swing) which obviously distracted Loschetter forcing his only real errant shot of the match. Chris should have Malott'd it at the foul line but not everyone is capable of doing that like Big Wes. Wonder how bad the PBA wanted Duke to win this one?

    • @beanburritocs
      @beanburritocs 8 лет назад

      +stratocaster0842 If he strikes and no other frames change, he wins 268-267.

    • @iconredesign
      @iconredesign 8 лет назад +2

      Yes, let's discount Norm for his clutch shots, better carry, and most importantly, luck. It's unfortunate for Losch, but Norm didn't win by fluke. Professionals need to keep their composure when there's pressure. Not everything is a conspiracy.

    • @beanburritocs
      @beanburritocs 8 лет назад

      I agree, Norm played great! But Loschetter was definitely unlucky.

      About 5 years later, Stone was replaced. I really like Randy Pedersen because he explains very well the different concepts of the game.

    • @lynettepalecek3141

      @@ainelawlor5755 Right. I really enjoyed the way that he kept explaining the game, the different terminology of the game, the strategy of why a bowler would bowl in a certain way, and what he, Randy, would do if he was in that particular bowler's shoes. He explained very clearly the different oil patterns and which part of the lane the bowler should throw his ball. I liked the way that Randy explained that Norm Duke preferred to throw his ball towards the middle, whereas other bowlers prefer to throw it close to the gutter. Sometimes, a bowler who is used to throwing the ball close to the gutter has to throw it closer to the middle because of the particular oil pattern. I remember watching Randy Pedersen bowl when he was a young man. He was a very good bowler. 👍🎳🙂
