Here to say we need more uninterrupted Ryland! Feel like he’s constantly being ignored, or belittled when he does get a chance to speak. We love him and want to hear more of his thoughts!
I couldn't agree more. I feel like Ryland gets shouted down or glossed over, and it makes me feel really bad for him. It is usually Jerid and Shame talking to each other and then every now and then Ryland and Chris say a few words, but mostly Shane and Jerid just take over the entire thing.

Re. 'chub rub': it is an incredibly normal thing (particularly with women) because, unless you have wide-set hips, most people's thighs touch at least a little bit, which causes painful rubbing, especially in hot weather. It's not just something that happens to large people. My hack for this problem, if I'm wearing a skirt or dress, is to wear plain cycling shorts underneath. It prevents thigh-chafing, and has the added bonus of providing modesty if your skirt blows up in the wind! :D
Yes!!! I wear cotton biking shorts or capris and as a very fat lady I haven't had that rub issue in decades
I am a woman and I’ve never had to deal with chub rub. Women who have a “thigh gap” do not have to deal with chub rub. It sounds very painful and I’m sorry for anyone who has to deal with it.
I’m at an awkward weight where if I gain a pound or two I get “chub rub” and if I lose a couple pounds it goes away. Super strange. Anyways, I’ve found that putting baby oil on my legs right before I get out of the shower helps so much and lasts all day. Especially if I’m outside walking around and sweating, it helps me more than keeping the area dry with baby powder or something. Being from Ohio, I’ve learned to embrace constantly feeling slightly sticky and sweaty in the summer so the oil just kind of blends in with that mess.
Deodorant works well too for chub rub and your right when Im skinny or heavier I still get it
It's even worse if you shave that area 😒

I second this!! I have 2 eight month old kittens and they are brother and sister and have always got cats in pairs, I find it helps them socially as well!
Yes, we have done this with dogs too and getting two was way easier than having just one for the same reasons. They also don't fret at night or whenever you have to leave them alone because they have company.

hey guys. long time listener of this podcast. i have to be honest, it's very bad! i don't really care for it, and i find all of you kind of obnoxious and reprehensible to varying degrees. regardless of my personal feelings, i think it would be to the benefit of every person watching and/or listening if you stopped talking about getting "cancelled" every 30 seconds. it's extremely obnoxious and makes it seem almost as if you're trying to trivialize the things shane has done in the past that people have rightfully gotten upset about. like, if you just keep saying everything gets you cancelled, people will think that being cancelled is no big deal, which shane has been, fully due to his own actions. the biggest lesson here, is that it's annoying for you to do that.
also, this conspiracy crap can be fun and all, but the thing about it that a lot of conspiracy theories revolve around an anti-semetic point of view. whenever you say "they are trying to control blank" or "they want to hide blank from you" you're echoing extremely anti semetic talking points used to justify the holocaust, which has been widely regarded as kind of a bad thing. i dont expect everyone to realize this, but i think it's important to keep in mind, especially on the internet where misinfo can spread very easily. ok. bye.

Shane, it makes me so sad to hear that you are embarrassed by your old videos and you feel like a loser. I can't even express how much joy your videos brought to me when I was a teen going through high school. Those were some rough times in my life and I looked forward to every single one of your videos. They always made my day and put a smile on my face when all else failed. I loved the characters you used to play. I loved the corny little skits you'd write out. All of it. Don't let the cancel culture define your ability as a creator or a person. You do amazing work and youre such an amazing person. I hope this puts a smile on your face like you and your friends have done for me for years of my life. :)

Yeah I would love for them to do their podcast every week too but I think they do it every other week because Chris and Jerid have to fly to Colorado each time from LA so I don't think it's possible for them to do so every week
For the chub rub, there is literally a lifesaver product called “body glide”- imagine a deodorant style stick you rub between your thighs so they “glide”. Game changer.
I use it for the beach to prevent rash from the sand and yes it’s great

So I'm at the part where Shane is talking about how he wants to move forward with doing movies and how his old videos keep getting brought up but I have to say for "internet content" your old videos regardless of topic, we're always well made and felt like a true sketch show. And I love them dearly. So Shane, you got this no matter what venture you tackle next we know you got this!
You shouldn’t be embarrassed about your old content. You were helping so many people at the time get through depression, loneliness, feeling lost, whatever.
You put in so much work and would always put love into everything you did. I hope you have taken all of that forward.

I’m 27 and I’ve been watching Shane since 2008 - being a teen was AWFUL but listening to Shane share his experiences with bullies, body weight, and more helped me when I was growing up. Watching his videos made me feel like I had found a home 💜

I remember watching, I think it was, "The Lottery" by Shane and feeling so inspired and just straight up impressed by what he created. I've watched Not Cool too when I was younger and (after I pretended the jokes that grossed me out weren't there lol) I loved it, mainly that specific something that only Shane can create and add hit me so hard in the heart.
Long story short I'm thrilled by the idea of Shane creating a movie or short again ❤ and I will definitely be there to watch it :)

Im not a Ryland fan, but I like seeing him on this podcast. It takes talent to reframe the topics for Ryland's recap as quickly as he does. I wish theyd give him a bit more room to chime in; he's inquisitive and I'd like to hear more of his inquiries.

They never let him finish it’s really awkward like he starts something and most of the time Jerid or Shane interrupts him. Like during the doppelgänger part he wanted to say something about the progam ‘clever’ and he couldn’t because Shane automatically switched to Chris

Literally when Chris started talking about how Shane was an inspection I legit started to cry because Shane got emotional and realized that he has made a difference in people's lives. Since you guys talked about college let me tell you a quick story. I’m a Moroccan raised in Spain, Barcelona and I remember when I was in elementary school 5° aprox I started watching your videos not knowing a single word of English. I used to enjoy each one of them, you literally helped me go through so many things without even understanding a single word of what you were saying lmao and I’ve been a fam since then I’m 26yo and yes, I said fam not fan bc atp we’re family like shit I’ve been here, solid through all your cancellations hahahah ily Shane keep Shining
