Great stuff Kevin! Everything is moving right along and looking real good. I hope you have a bumper crop of everything this year. Thanks for doing the extra work that goes along with making a video to share while you’re getting all this done too. Have a great week my friend!
Howdy Shane! Hey we got the upper garden planted today. Taking a rest tomorrow to work on the irrigation and then visit with friends. I can already taste those spuds and onions! We never know which crop will do good up here. Our growing season is so short. It was 32F yesterday morning and today 36F. It can frost any month of the year. Somehow we always seem to be blessed with a killer harvest by fall. I sure appreciate you checking in. Have great weekend, brother!
That tiller sure does a nice job. Lots easier than a walk behind. The soil looks fantastic. You’ve obviously worked it up nicely before. Lots of clay around here. It gets like brick and requires lots of organic matter to even be usable. Ain’t nothin like the smell of fresh tilled loamy soil. I could almost smell it from here. Haha. Beautiful garden Kevin. Blessings to ya!
Thanks, Bob. I grew up growing veggies in heavy clay, and it's a real bugger. Sticks to your boots and dries hard as a rock. Makes it pretty tough to grow anything. Our big challenge is gophers and voles. They wiped our our carrots last year and they like peas! Hope you are having a great weekend, my friend!
Well, Henry, up here in the highlands only folks that don't wear shorts in hot weather are the cattle ranchers! Hope you are well my friend. Have a great weekend!
Most Excellent!! I'm a new (to me) tractor owner. My Brother in law gave me a Kubota 7100 with 5K + hours on it (no telling when the meter quit working...). I'm hoping it'll handle the few acres I mow at the cabin for fire mitigation and trails. Found a too big brush hog that required me to add some weight to the front to keep the wheels on the ground... managed a few hundred feet of mowing before I busted one of the adjustment arms on my tractor... I have a feeling the learning curve will be steep and my "free" tractor is going to cost me good bit more. Do you know anyone looking for a brush hog attachment? Also where is a good place to buy tractor tires over there?
What a nice gift, Kirby Creek! Just keep your implement weight down, and that tractor should be great around your place. They aren't good on sidehills, I've noticed. Ya got to be careful on rough terrain due to rollover hazard. Seems like you could advertise that brush hog locally and find a buyer pretty quick. I have used Les Schwab in Omak for tractor tires, and had good service. Good luck with that tractor. It should serve you well for plenty more years!
Nice vidio ..thanks for share my best friend
Thanks for visiting, my friend. Come again, any time!

You are the first Washingtonian I've ever seen in shorts!
