What really strikes me about Ali (RA) was his willingness to accept Islam at such a young age. Let's not forget this was at a time when there was a much stronger influence of idol worship. Guidance is (no doubt) from Allaah swt but this unique act not only showed his tremendous love for the truth but also defined his wise and noble character.
