Here is Top Gun / Flight Deck or Bat as it's called now, the Arrow Dynamics swing coaster at Kings Island, Ohio, USA filmed by Andrew Marshall off ride only in 1993.
I have been on this ride as Top Gun, Flight Deck and The Bat.... It was my first coaster when I was like 7 in 1994. Every time I go to Kings Island, it's the first ride I get on for the day since it's the one that started it all for me and roller coasters. Great memories, thanks for the video ✌️
***** This is the "New" Bat. The original Bat existed from 1981 to 1983 where Vortex is now sort of like Andrew Marshall had mentioned. They just repainted the track orange with charcoal grey supports for the 2014 season to replicate the original Bat. This coaster is actually a clone of Vortex at Canada's Wonderland. The Bat (aka Top Gun/Flight Deck) has the exact same layout but opened two years after Vortex which opened in 1991 at Canada's Wonderland. This coaster was fun but not as fun as Vortex at Canada's Wonderland because the Bat lacks scenery such as the mountain and water near the end helix. In this video from 1993 it really looks like Vortex at Canada's Wonderland because of the colours it originally had. Thanks for uploading this video. :)
