  • MALHAVOC's first 'real' promo video. Taken from live footage shot by audience members and edited together by James C. Lots of horror movie clips noticable. Malhavoc used video screen when playing live between 1990-1992, sometimes performing behind the screen. This video got on national tv and was made for a wopping $50. He found an ad in the local paper and paid one hundred bucks to use some guys home panasonic editing system. The guy was too busy humping his girlfriend, so James figured out the system and edited two videos in 8 hours, the other video being 'Second Image'.

At the time I picked up Danzig´s " Blackacidevil " album , its " 7th house " opener instantly reminded me of this song . I can safely bet Danzig must had been listening to this around that time .

great memories, used to go to some of their early shows in toronto when James was selling the first tape-which I lost somewhere. I remember even chris sheppard used to use a malhavoc intro in one of his songs back in the days when he was spinning at rpm. Wow how time flyes!

I know this is 12 years late, but did you reference Missing Link?!? I had one of their first cassettes, and I've never heard anyone reference them ever! 🤘🤘

@@Caffeine_Club They had a lot of potential. Shame they kept remixing and remastering that first demo/album instead of just getting it out there.

I remember James would drink serum of epicac at shows and pass the beer around till everyone puked on each other! That and carving a pentagram into his chest with a beer can. Good times!
