I don’t know about you guys but I just made these donuts and their amazing. Their light fluffy, taste amazing and are so easy! Thank you for this recipe!💜
My mom & I worked for a bakery as she was a cake decorator & she loved to experiment. One of our favorites was to add pineapple juice & shredded bits of pineapples to the glaze for a tropical treat. We lived in southwest Florida so we did it with oranges, lemons, & other fruits. We used Dole canned pineapples most of the time just bc they were available year round & we always had them on hand. Try it & I think you will like it. And yes you add the vanilla too the pineapple just kicks it to a tropical level.
wow i just made the dough and air fried it -- really soft!!! and the inside looks so fluffy and good. i could not make the glaze yet because i fell asleep and couldnt go to the store to buy the powdered sugar
Thanks i made my first batch today following this recipe. I’d add a bit more sugar to the dough next time. My first 4 burnt cause the 325 in the air fryer was too high. second batch I made them at 310F- 7 minutes. Another tip: I used my bread maker machine to make the dough! They turned out great!!!!
Omg i just made and they're AMAZING! Im definitely gonna keep making it because i hate frying with oil🥰🥰 btw i needed more flour and the mind blowing thing is it only took it two minutes to fry !!
Add pineapple juice (Dole canned tidbits is what we used or fresh as we grew our own pineapples also) to your glaze & some shredded bits of pineapple pieces. It’s how my mom & I made them. She was a cake decorator for Publix in Florida for 20 yrs, but also took side jobs & created her own stuff for friends & loved to experiment. My brother worked with us too. She also used orange juice & other fruits as my grandma loved star fruit. You still add the vanilla to the glaze. It’s a taste preference thing. Trial & error, but testing is the fun part imo. You can replace the juice for the condensed milk or just add juice & if it appears too thin then add more powdered sugar to your liking. You can use applesauce for apple flavor. Anything you can think of you can try. Apple butter too. You can even sneak in some yogurt for the probiotics boost if you have kids that won’t eat it otherwise. Just have fun. Good luck!
I’m a double dipper too! I was thinking of doing a strawberry icing (more like your chocolate icing thickness) on top of the glaze! Ideas for how to do that??? Thanks :) I think my bf would love this for valentine’s ♥️
@@QueenofKoalas It honestly didn’t work out that great, they were still good. But they weren’t fluffy and tasted kinda like a bagel. I might have messed up on something tho. I’ll have to try again someday
@@stephaniehavoksen1761 i love it!! i told my fam this story we were all laughing bc we attempted air fryer donuts but idk the recipe and it turned out exactly like how u are explaining it lol theyre bagels now!!!
Great recipe but please correct description to say 325F, not 375. I burnt my first batch as I wasn’t listening to the video and just read the description ☹️
This looks doable for me! Thanks Miss. You make cooking baking look so easy. Love your perennial smile. I thought at first you might be Filipino, my mistake bc you have Vietnamese origins. Continue cooking! Am not a double dipper for doughnuts. I want the glaze to be super thin.
ok, so i ended up making biscuits. what happened was my dough was super sticky. not sure what I did wrong? so i added flour until it was the right consistency and I got biscuits. anyone have any tips?

Watching these baking videos drive me crazy. Do NOT crack eggs directly in a bowl, ever. Shells can get in there, and bloody eggs will ruin your mix. Crack them in a separate bowl/ramekin/measuring cup, then add it to the mix. Ok, I feel better hahaha :)

These were so tasty! made the glaze without condensed milk and still tasted perfect. thanks for sharing!!
Omg..that looks so good. Gonna try it this weekend and I’m a double dipper!
Yes! Lol
I made these last night! They're a little denser than the original Krispy Kreme donuts, but still really great!
You can use lighter ingredients for a lighter doughnut!
like cake flour
Tried them today and doughnuts were perfect 👌. Thanks for recipe 😋
thank you so much for posting this...I'm definitely a double dipper with the glaze as well 😂 can't wait to make these 👍🏼
Yes on the double dip!
this is a pro chef right here, she has used all the pro tips that i dont see used in a lot of people
you made making donuts seem so simple and convenient to make with just an air fryer! can’t wait to try making some myself with your awesome recipe!!
I’m so happy you just posted this! I’m going to make them as soon as I get back from the store!!
Enjoy!

Making these rn 🤘🤘 fingers crossed..

They look indeed yummy, but what is healthier then normal airfryer donuts?
Those look so delicious. I don’t have an air fryer, can I make them in my oven? Would I bake at the same temperature?
Was looking forward to eating these, just tastes like bread with icing. Maybe I did something wrong but was not what I expected
I kind of had the same result. More bread like. I think maybe I should have let it rise more before rolling
Maybe cause I used butter instead of oil too.
@@mariadrewnowski6218 I used butter too, if anything the glaze was the best part
this happened to me too :/

Alguien me la podría traducir? 🙏🏼
What temperature in the oven for the Doug to rise??
My house it’s really cold at the moment
Should be slight warmer than room temp. What I do is hear it up for 2 minutes and then turn it off
I’m gonna try make this! I’ll let you know how they turned out :)

@odensea the glaze was good actually, it was just the doughnuts themselves were kinda odd
:/ tried to make these and they ended up tough and hard to chew. I’m disappointed cuz these looked really good.
You might have overkneaded the dough.
Can you use almond milk?
Great recipe but please correct description to say 325F, not 375. I burnt my first batch as I wasn’t listening to the video and just read the description ☹️
Mantull ...from indo
Can I make a smaller batch of doughnuts
My dough did I not rise
what about it i just wanted to make three donuts. what would be the measurements
Is it okay if I use Wheat flour?, I'm a little worried that maybe it'll turn out more of as a bread rather than a donut
CAN YOU USE ALMOND FLOUR INSTEAD OF REGULAR FLOUR?
Note: A donut is fried bread. This is baked bread. This is the recipe for a donut, just without the frying. They taste close enough - at least for me.
Can you make it in the oven
no
@@_clayton I can’t ok
Double ❤ definitely double 👍☕☕☕☕😋😋😋😋
Can I make it with almond flour as well?
Can i use something other than yeast?? I have no clue what that is, and how to find it in brazil 🇧🇷
Could the dough be made in a bread machine?

Can you use oatmilk as a substitute?
Is it ok to let the dough rise for more then 2 hours?
ok, so i ended up making biscuits. what happened was my dough was super sticky. not sure what I did wrong? so i added flour until it was the right consistency and I got biscuits. anyone have any tips?
same thing happened to me
Tastes more like a dinner roll than a donut, would not recommend
100% agreed.
That’s mean you don’t tell people you wouldn’t recommend to make it
Please tell the substitute of egg dear
just find a recipe for eggless donuts instead
OMG!!!
I'm SOOOOO doing this in the morning!
WAIT! These are keto, right?????
😅🤣😂
How many donuts does this make??
She said 16 if you roll the dough thin
Do you use regular yeast or active yeast?
I just went to make them & realized I'm not sure which yeast either?
You can use either. Its the same thing
She used active dry yeast
How much calories are there in one piece of donut?
Can i Use almond or coconut flour? Also what can I use to substitute condensed milk? Thanks
It won’t ride with almond or coconut flour
Skip the condensed milk and add more milk and powdered sugar
do you know how many calories it has?
Can these be made.in oven
No. The air fryer is different than an oven
Thank you so much for this recipe, however my air fryer only goes to 200°c is that okay?
325 Fahrenheit is 162 Celsius!!
@@AnnLagravenese thank you so much. I didn’t see it was in Fahrenheit haha!
my air fryer is in celcius, approximately what temp should it be? 🥲🥺 google says 325 f is around 162 c but not sure
I would do around 157-162, just bc the higher temperatures might scorch your donuts slightly. But those should be the right temp conversion
@@EMP_ thank you so much!!
Das a bagel
Can I make these in an air fryer with 1 set temperature?
I did 375 for 7 minutes but it depends how thick your donuts are
@@MyHealthyDish in video you set temperature on 325 but in description is 375. Which one you recommend? Thanks

I think u can freeze it . Bake the rest later when u want to
try halfing the recipe
My dough is still watery what to do
I putted the ingredients accurately
Maybe add more flour?
