dont blame you, i brought my first 2007 987 when i was 50, loved it, 12 months later brought 2015 981 boxster in gt silver, pasm, sports plus..ect, love it.
Traded my 986s (Manual) on a Cobalt Black 2013 981s (PDK) a month ago here in Australia. 20 inch wheels with Michelin tyres and sports exhaust. Similar story to Michael's in that i'm in my 50s in good health and life's too short. These 981's with the 3.4 engine and sports exhaust are an event every time you take them out for a drive. I have put a clear wind deflector in, in place of the standard mesh for better visibility and upgrading the stereo for Apple Car Play and that's it. And if you are going to go auto there is none better than the PDK. All Boxster's are underrated, none more so than the 981s

I've not had the time or weather to really enjoy it yet, but really looking forward to Spring/summer. It's the kind of purchase we put off so many times due to other commitments. Nice video and great choice Michael. I’m starting to realise these 981 models are the best particularly the sound and reliability. Haven’t had any issues other than I broke the auto window button lol. I am keeping mine and have ordered a new Macan GTS.
I’m picking my Basalt Black 981 Cayman S up this coming Saturday 16th April, waited 4 weeks to pick it up after being away at work for that period of time…I’m flying down from Aberdeen to Gatwick, traveling to East Sussex to the Porsche Specialist and driving it all the way home to Aberdeenshire…😅😎
Black, black, black is in my opinion the most boring colour combination of all time for all cars, including a Boxster. It is also hard to keep clean and depressing in the winter. The car otherwise is spot on. 981s came in many great colour combinations but they are not on sale used!
Personal preference I guess, many buy Porsches due to the understated feel. Although we would agree on a colourful approach to a weekend/sports car to bring some colour into our life 😉. Black is definitely not easy to keep clean and I must agree unfortunately not many colour combos on offer as used 😞

True and also a lack of supply at the newer end of Porsche’s have meant paying more for used Porsche’s.
Where's the pulls and downshifts realy wished he drove it the way its meant to be driven
