If any Dong yang lift has that kind of fujitec font for the indicator it is most likely a replaced one (blk 9 pine close used to have the old indicator, then only replaced to this type in around 2017) The chime is also very rare nowadays, so far ive only heard it on blk 5 chinatown
According to the poster I saw when I revisited this block, sadly the entire Dong Yang Elevators at Bukit Panjang will be affected as was mentioned that they are replacing 36 Dong Yang Elevators. Those also at Jelapang 501-512 will also be affected too. Do record them at these area before they deregister
They'll most likely replace all 3 lifts in this block, they wouldn't just replace that one lift and leave the other 2 alone as it will make them less efficient with the separate controllers. Maybe the TC here are leaving the others out as their budget is probably too tight to get SLRP
@@poteyatocheapp6978 it all comes down to whether the controllers are compatible. New Fujitec can be wired up to existing Fujitec to form a set so long as they're computer/digitally controlled. New IFEs from different eras (e.g. 1 LUP and 1 SLRP) can't be wired up on the same Controller. Heard Peninsula Plaza also wired up the existing 411Ms to the new Kone
Then just let the tc find a lift company that has controller compatible to the dog yag then problem solved. If not then fuck everything replace only one or all there i also dc alr
That's what happens when the lift company is no longer and business and spare parts are no longer in production. Same for Express lifts in HDB blocks where town councils are struggling to maintain.
Lift B has been replaced and operating soon, Lift C replacemnet has started operational

Lompang Rd, as you may know, is near to Bukit Panjang LRT/MRT station.
1:53 would have been obvious that iFE would be the one replacing the lifts as iFE is distributed by Chevalier.
Built in 1996 but getting replaced soon?
That’s not really old yet.
