Suter is a very solid and versatile player. Great defensively and good positioning player. He’s a very solid player.
Until you gave the player name, I thought that you were talking about Philip Hronek. So that's two players in the last year that went from Detroit to Vancouver, in a way that looks like it was beneficial for both teams.
Man, people are really taking the wrong aspect of this situation lol. Suter isn't a curse, the Canucks were up against a top D team with Norris trophy candidate, a Vezina trophy candidate goalie, and a jack Adams nominated coach...
This was the lowest scoring series so far because of the incredible defensive style the Preds play.
Next series will be a goal scorers series as Edmonton has not great D or goal tending
I been watching your vids for a while now and had t subscribed
I heard BCIT and I subscribed right away
Hello fellow bcit alumni
Wait till Vancouver Canucks fans see we won the hronek trade cause they have no idea how good sandin Axel pellikka is
Stevie Y actually made a contract offer to him but Suter turned it down thinking he could get more in FA. Also shouldn't Vancouver be thanking 31 other teams who decided not to make him an offer as well? Or even the Blackhawks who decided not to sign him again to a multi year deal?
Yes i was getting so frustrated with him before that last goal. He needed that!
He’s a 30-40pt player at best. I don’t think DET passing on him is a big deal or a difference maker. I will say, I didn’t expect so much resilience and toughness out of him. Happy him and Hronek have found success there. ASP incoming
With the defense and the goaltending Detroit has in the AHL, Detroit made the right move and wins this situation no matter how you look at it.
@@TrevWire Exactly. It’s not that deep. I’d take the Hronek deal again
It’s good to hear his name pronounced correctly. He pronounced it very fast in Detroit and it sounded like Pewss, no one ever got it right!
First Hughes when Detroit did not pick the hometown kid. Then, Hronek who they cannot afford to pay with Sider on the team, and, finally the hero Sutter who Yzerman thought was expendable. Thanks again, Stevie Y!
Glad for Hronek and Suter. Will the Canuck's be able to afford him after this season though?
@@uncledave6804 Kinda depends on what he's asking for. One factor that I think could and probably should hamper Hronek's market a little bit is the fact that the past two seasons he's been astonishingly productive in the first half, and then notably cooled of in the 2nd. Really complicates a player valuation in that way
@@uncledave6804 Nope and he (Hronek) needs to be trade. He's not good defensively, but did well enough offensively (with Hughes hiding a lot of Hronek's defensive errors) that we should be able to get a lot for him in a trade. But for now, we'll only worry about the playoffs for now and worry about re-signing or trading Hronek away after the playoffs.
I knew that Pius Suter contract would be a bargain for the Canucks, I was surprised that Steve Yzerman had let him walk to free agency.
Suter to the Preds: Why so serious?
Yo lego, time to switch it up. No one wants to see your video game clips anymore...its old and stale. Thehockeyguy keeps it simple. Would love to see you change it up.
If people stop watching his videos he will adjust accordingly, however must be someone is watching. *Looks at you, looks at me.
@TrevWire people will still watch as lego pumps a lot of stuff out and we don't have a lot of canuck content creators out there...but he could be doing better. No one over 30 wants to see video game clips of him playing random games
@@AlphaPrimeYT-Transformers I’m not in disagreement with you. Makes me wonder if he’s been burned in the past for sharing things he wasn’t licensed to do. Is it hard to get game clips to use??
@TrevWire other creators do, but then they can't monetize. Would be nice to see some clips every now and then
You can pump out a lot more videos if you don't have to edit it as much. He edits and adds stuff in, but not as much as he would have to without the video game background, I imagine
Literally has nothing to do with the wings
Would rather have Suter than Copp
Not like he did an end to end rush and slammed it home. 🙄🤣
He didn't have to
by being a fraud & terrible gm giving away good players for nothing, thanks stevie !! lol
Tell me you don't understand hockey without saying it. Detroit didn't "get rid of him", they simply failed to give him what he wanted. At the end of free agency, no one wanted to pay it. Ultimately he signed for nearly half of what he was asking. I liked him in Detroit, but the truth is that anywhere in the league he's a bottom six forward. He has never shown he can be more at the NHL level and was not worth the money he thought he was. Hronek was a good player, but had a breakout season this year. He sat around $4.5 Million per season in Detroit, but wasn't worth that cost while he was there. Now he's around $5 million, had a break out season, but needs a new contract and will want a lot of money. The Wings got a first round draft pick for it which turned out to be Sabastian Cossa... so yeah. The Wings still win that one. Sorry.
@@TrevWire the wings win nothing, sorry
I know the most about hockey, I guess they didn't give away hronek either ? lol
@@nadaduo1765 they scored a 1st and 2nd round pick for him with a year left on his contract and a 4th round pick. Know who that other first round pick was? Axel Sandin Pellikka, one of the top prospects in hockey. They also shed $4.4 million in cap, which helped sign other players like DeBrincat and Kane.
@@TrevWire you name all these prospects that are nobodies, none of them have ever done nothing in the nhl, they're just lottery tickers, kane is leaving in the summer and debrincat is a bust and you still missed the playoffs anyway with both of them lol
@@TrevWiredon’t bother arguing with this fool, idiots like him will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
He is bottom line player with bit of scoring got a lucky goal
