See I m getting admission in nit rr so i went to their site and downloaded the information brochure.
In that on page 4. Point 4 it is mentioned as
Income certificate issued from competent authority (e.g.DM/DC/SDM/SDO
/Tahsildar) for the GEN / OBC-NCL / GEN-EWS candidate claiming for the
remission of tuition fees for the latest financial year. Income certificate must
be issued on or after 01/04/2020. Without annual income certificate, student
will not be given remission of tuition fees.
Its written that without income certificate you will not be applicable for fee remission but nothing is written like your admission will get affected.
So don't worry.

Yeah yrr, anything can happen in online document verification. Something like that happened with me during jossa.
So to be on a positive side try to get a income certificate and trust me its really easy to get one. You can get in a span of 2 days but as its diwali time you'll have to wait but still good thing is we have 5 days(16-21) so it won't be a problem getting that.
