    this is about the third time I have watched this video, don't know why I haven't commented on this before, I believe this is the best video showing refections I have seen. Thank you for sharing you talent with us....

    Holy crap that’s so much simpler than the way you’d have to do it in AE… that’s awesome

      You can also make a tool to somewhat automate some of the process or just use mine. Either way.

    Hi, Neat tool. One suggestion - adding a gradient as a mask of the blur might help with some realism, ie as angle to the camera gets more intense(oblique?) the reflection should get blurrier. So in the case of the city scene you would want white at the bottom of the blur mask so the tops of the skyscrapers get blurrier. (I think thats how a real reflection would look - just trying to visualise it in my head).

      I agree. I didnt do a gradient in the manual way, but the tool uses a gradient for the blur and you can control the gradient with the offset blur slider.

    Hi, I downloaded your tool CBReflections but it is different, it does not have all the option like the one in the video. It does help making reflections much quicker! Great work!

      Thanks for saying something, it was an older version of the tool, I updated it to the current version.

      @@CBSuper I can open the macro folder only with LUT link, like you. Thanks for the tip and the update!

      @@HappyPrometheus Yeah, I don't know why it stopped working for me, I'll have to investigate that.

    For davinci resolve: rtx 3080 or 3090??

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  4 года назад +1

      Thats a good question. Check out a couple vids John did the other week on this. ruclips.net/video/Nqui5BzTib4/видео.html personally, i want 2 3080’s but for blender, not really Davinci. I dont know if DaVinci will care about all that vram. I think a 3080 would probably be good enough for davinci, but im on the free version so i think the Studio version makes better use of the gpu.
