Officers in Mpumalanga arrested for driving licence fraud, bribery

- Eight examiners, including a driving school owner, have been arrested in a joint operation by the Hawks and the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC)in Mpumalanga.
The suspects are allegedly involved in the issuing of fraudulent driving licences to the public. The suspects were arrested at different testing stations including Sabie, Graskop and Lydenburg. While in Verena, four traffic officers were arrested for bribery and corruption.

It's nationwide. My niece was told by her tester that she wouldn't get a license without paying her R2000. After many attempts, trying different testing stations, my son got a legal license in a small town.
I have a relative who lives in Lydenburg, he told me that it is normal for them, to pay for learners license and driver's license. I then told him, that is corruption, he could not believe it.
Not to worry with next election member will be in parliament and be firced to be called your honourable...
