Nothing to see here this happens weekly in our boarding schools. These guys have it easy, make them fix potholes and grow food for us, put them to hard labour. Make them serve us not us serving them with free meals and Electricity.

You wouldn't be saying this if your poor relative was in prison for having stolen a chocolate bar at a supermarket.. I understand the anger against crime, but not everyone that is prison has committed murder or rape..
That is Min Groenewald's plan. He said the budget for correctional services are smaller this time, so he is going to make them work for food, as well rent them and gaurd out for outside jobs where they can earn a small amount of money to buy neccessary things and also save till the day they come out to help them mane a new start. That was how it was done and it help them rehabilitate

Minister Groenewald must work together with the new minister of justice to find out why bail is given so easily even to repeat offenders.
also why the prison system is so broken that inmates can easily get these things, anywhere else in the world prison officials would be fired, or jailed themselves
Let's hope the government can give him the budget that's needed in that department because he really wants these wardners to be held responsible for they contribution to this messed up system in prison.

True, a prisoner having those tools is bcos officials are corrupt n someone outside is involved in making things move in n out of prison. It's not the prisoners who are guilty or should be raided or done ceisure n search if not investigated further.
