    Hi Elias, I am almost 10 months sober from nitrous right now...I deeply relate to your story. I went to rehab four times last year and didn't meet a single person who was also there for nitrous. I too felt like I was the only one experiencing this hell. I quit drinking in 2015 and can honestly say that it was a piece of cake compared to quitting nitrous. I was doing 500+ cartridges a day for many months. I too went into psychosis. I saw people that weren't there. I was delusional and going blind from dehydration. Anyways, I have had a really hard time finding people to talk to about this. None of my friends understand, not even mental health professionals seem to understand. Clearly you do. Thank you for sharing. I'd really like to chat more with you, if possible, but I don't have What'sApp. Are you on Facebook? Thanks again for being honest.

    Congrats on the six months (and as of writing this comment, hopefully congrats on 12 months+ of sobriety from nitrous). I was a heavy abuser of nitrous for a long time and can relate to what you talked about in this video! I am currently over two years clean from it, although it has been a slow and difficult recovery. I wish you well in your continued sobriety!

      Hello I am on 2 months of sobriety and did 5 b12 injections, I was feeling better at the third injections and now since i stopped the injections I restart feeling really bad, I have a big back pain mostly in my spine and I want to know what did you do to feel better what treatment and how much time did it take to you (sorry I am french and my english is bad)

    • @confessionsfromadangerousmind

      @@Samir-ls2kb congrats on the 2 months of sobriety! Honestly, I recommend that you follow the treatment that your doctor/provider prescribed. You should let your doctor know that you have started feeling bad after stopping the injections. As far as what my experience was after crippling nerve damage, I really don’t know how and why I was able to recover so much. I still don’t understand how I went from not being able to walk for a few weeks and then spending a month or two being unable to stand without holding onto something, all the way to where I now am walking 99% normal, can run, bike ride, and stand on my tippy toes. I’d say that getting to 99% normal took about 13-15 months. I did not receive any medical treatment (including physical therapy) and I did not take any supplements or medications.

    I just wanted to say thank you for posting this video. Today I got on RUclips to try to see what is going on with the whole “whippet” situation. After finding MANY cans of this stuff in my younger brother’s (32) house and car I believe we have a problem and other things are starting to make sense. He has a child that he has basically lost interest in over the past like two years. He has a good job but rarely has money and he quit buying new clothes and stuff. He has also gotten sick with something that is related to neurological problems or autoimmune but every time I try to talk to him about it I still can’t get any answers about what is actually wrong or how we can treat it. Considering how many cans I found I wouldn’t be surprised if it was caused by this stuff. The condition has gotten so bad he falls and hurts himself and he has the pins and needles sensation even when he hasn’t injured himself. Prior to all this he was pretty healthy and was involved with CrossFit. I’m trying to get as familiar with this as I can so I can then try to figure out the best way to address it. I am 15 years older than he is and I helped my mom raise him. So even though he is now in his early 30’s I am still extremely worried about him and I certainly don’t want this situation to get any worse. After watching your first video I saw you just posted this update on how you are doing. I think me coming across your channel was kinda meant to be because it’s not like you post videos all the time. So it was right on time for me! At least I can get an idea of what can be or not be expected. Thanks again. I hope things continue to go well for you!

      Vitamin b-12 is crucially needed for him too for his recovery stage

    • @eliasberlin9433
      @eliasberlin9433  2 года назад +1

      If he already has the pins and needles and falls and loses balance his b12 is very low and if he continues he will experience more nasty side effects. Only way to make him quit is like the guy says below, Send him away somewhere where he cant do the nitrous or talk him out of doing it and supplementing him with b12. He has to learn what the nitrous really is doing to him. He will probably experience a psychosis soon if he quits since hes so addicted to it already. When u quit it will hit you. And that will definetly make him stop

    I don't have any cravings after 6 weeks. I'm too scared to mess with it because of these goddamn headaches I'm dealing with. I'm only 6 weeks away but I hope these headaches go away sooner than later. I have bad ringing in my ears too. My hands feet arms legs all work fine. I don't have any problem taking nature walks or going to the gym or whatever but the headaches and ears ringing sucks. I really hope it goes away sooner than later. I know 6 weeks isn't that long but I thought I would have more recovery than this by now.

      @@shitchannel5027 Yes. No more ringing in the ears and my headaches have let up at least 50%. I do have a little bit of numbness and tingling in my toes but that's let up quite a bit too. I think it just takes months to get B12 back into your tissues which is what nitrous oxide takes out of your body.

I usually have them bad in the evenings but I've even get them in the morning sometimes if I don't get very good rest. I hope they go away. I have been going through the same thing . It’s been two months and a week since the last time I did nitrous. I did not use nitrous regularly I just over did it at a friends party . It happened exactly the same way the symptoms came like 3 days later . It’s been a living hell I had to go to the hospital a few times and it seemed like the medication made me feel worse . Lorazepam really helps but it’s not something that should be taken regularly. The first month I had started going to acupuncture and I think it really helped cuz it went away for like 3 or for weeks but then I stoped going because I thought it went away and I started drinking alcohol again and I think the alcohol made it come back . after all this time it seems like it’s intensity and how often the symptoms come has decreased but when the symptoms come back it feels like I’m going to be this way forever. I have a question did you have vision problems as well because i have noticed when my vision really starts acting up is when the symptoms get really intense. And if so when did your vision start to clear up .

      Hey this is my other chanel!. Drinking will worsen the symptoms alot if you are still in the recovery stage (by recovery stage I mean your brain and body healing). When u get hungover you get super prone to anxiety and depression, detachment. I made a rule to only drink once a week max!! Never more. Now 6 months after I can manage being hungover.
      Yes it all goes away, I had so like you horrible anxiety etc. Every month you will get so much better but only if you don't do drugs or to much alcohol. Only way to healing!.

    Did you have bad headaches? The ringing in my ears and the headaches are brutal. I don't really seem to have any other bad symptoms. I've dealt with the anxiety and depression and had that most of my life. I'm not really having mental problems other than frustration and anger because these weird headaches and ringing ears just won't let up.

      Take one deep breath in, then another breath in and release slowly from your mouth

      did really large amount the tanks I used is 40L per tank. Really big ones. I can do 1 tank of 40L in 14hrs without stop,and have continued this life for about 1.5 yr. I went to doctors and they treated me with b12&b1 to recover the neuro demage. Many other people have made a full recovery but not in my case. I think maybe I did too much 🥲 But one good thing is the condition actually got better as time goes. However the progress stopped eventually. I think some workout and exercise on the muscle is needed.
