Its always good to see someone new experience the phenomenon that is Pink Floyd. they are timeless. I can only reiterate earlier comments and suggest you delve into the "Pulse" concert from 1994. Wait until you watch "Comfortably Numb", you will be transported to a different dimension I feel sure. Thank you for sharing this and I hope you enjoy the journey.

Saw PF in 1994 on Division Bell tour. They create an environment that engulfs you. Very much like a religious experience. My favorite song from the concert was High Hopes. Please continue the journey. Enjoyed your reaction. Stay safe.

Please keep to one band for a while - before moving on to . . .Yes, ELP, Genesis .etc.
Keep in mind these guys were working at the limits of recording & electronic instrument development in 60's - 80's - the rest you already are experiencing.
This concert was from 35 years ago! Pink Floyd were one of the absolutely biggest bands from the entire Classic Rock era. Since you have never heard of Pink Floyd then you likely don't know of any of the great Classic Rock bands. What a journey of musical discovery you have before you because almost none of the bands from this current era can hold a candle to them. The music of that era was quite simply superior in every way. Try Boston, the Eagles, Steely Dan and many, many others. Glad you have found this vein of musical sustenance to add to your life. 😉👌💖💖💖

Pink Floyd is really like no other. You pretty much can't go wrong no matter what song you choose of theirs to listen to. I love so many it's hard to pick even just a couple out for you to react to. All I can say is the albums Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, The Wall, and The Division Bell. Add to that Echoes, a 23 minute absolute masterpiece, and all their live stuff. Try “Time”, or “Wish You Were Here”, or “Have A Cigar”, or “High Hopes”, or “Sorrow”. But watch the live PULSE versions. PULSE was truly one of the greatest concert performances ever. 130-foot-high arch, 53 trucks, 700 tons of steel, three days to set it all up, two more to break it down, and three of these stages leap-frogging each other around the world. Watch PULSE - you’ll get it.
That keyboard Richard Wright is playing at the beginning, I've got one sitting next to my desk. It's a Roland JX-10, one of the last of the true analog synths. Trying to get it plugged into my DAW so I can record it.

Their Album Dark Side of the Moon 1973 is the 4th biggest selling Album of all time 50 million copies but also the album that spent the longest nonconsecutive time in the Billboard top 200 1973 to 1989 their second biggest album 40 million copies The Wall.
