You can tell that Petrilli has taken full advantage of lockdown to practice. Best I’ve heard you sound thus far
Mark would be proud. Thank you Angela for that great little set. True Flat Top Friday feel.
Wow. The amazing Angela and the Mighty Rogo in the same day!!!! How awesome!!!!
No matter how the week has gone, Angela and her playing, never fail to put a smile on my face. Thanks Angela, thanks Jen...keep rocking'!
Come on Petrilli, come to Nazareth, PA to visit and play in the Martin factory! They have a great museum to play in! See you there!!
Excellent review,I like the way she described the background of the guitar. The fingerstyle is on point
One of the best acoustic guitarists out there.
Angela is killing it, as she does every time she's at Norman's.
Come back soon, Angela!
Great work Angela ... bravo
Thank you very much, Angela! So sweet, but just right!
Such a talented guitarist
I'm gonna buy that guitar just because it now has Angela's DNA on it. Nuf said.
Classic martin tone. So sweet!
Beautiful ☮️❤️

Angela is my favorite... I mean she's just totally my favorite 😍😍😍
Very sweet Angela , the guitar and the playing , very impressive. Great sound out of the old Martin , I would sure luv me a Martin but way out of my league price wise , have to be content to listen to Angela strum one , thanks guys.
Niiiiiiice!!
James Taylor was just so killer.
Too bad she forgot the e major chord before the g
I didn't mean how she played it. I meant James Taylor is awesome. I should have typed that better.
He still is. 100 million records, and counting.
I knew somebody would say that. He hasn't written anything even close to what he used to lately. But he was awesome. But I can't stand his politics lately. We all get old I get it. I should have said is but I wanted to be honest.
Guitar Ocd I certainly can’t argue with any of that, I haven’t heard anything great from him since the breakup with Carly Simon, TBH. I was a big fan early on, but I think my taste for that kind of “folky” stuff waned down to nothing at around that same time. I also think that movie he did turned me off quite a bit, too. Driving cross-country with his mechanic buddy in a VERY hot-rodded 57 Chevy, street dragging for a few bucks was already trite and overdone by then...although it WAS a really nice car! It made me appreciate his song, Traffic Jam a little better too.
Beutiful guitar like beutiful player..very nice martin acoustic guitar..
Anything Jennifer Batten makes me smile.
,,GP 'Spot Light"
Her. Style of playing.
Nuclear BeBop.
She’s amazing. Her 8-finger tapping technique even way back when she was playing for Michael Jackson was so smooth that her guitar sounded more like an organ. She was also one of the first to write and record a song centered around the Whammy Pedal, titled Whammy Damage. *LOVE* her!!
i just love her.
Beautiful guitar, almost like my '70 000-18. Very nice demo too Angela!

It cracked down the middle whomever fixed it did a bad job , but yes the 000 is my favorite sounding, wrong glue
Nice job on the JT song. Perfect guitar for finger picking. Years ago I put a ‘62 jazz bass and ampeg svt on layaway at the Guitar Trader where Jennifer Batten was teaching at in San Diego. She had just graduated from the guitar institute up in LA. The j bass was $750 at the time and Ed let me put it on layaway for 6 months. David Margan bass player for Santana had played it but passed. I said to Ed if you put a new set of strings on this thing you’ll probably sell it. Ed threw me a set of strings, I put them on and said I’ll take it.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Martin top of any species that has anywhere *NEAR* as few annual rings as that one does. They’re usually a lot closer to each other with at least 3-4 times as many per inch. That just goes to show you that non-traditional spec tonewoods can be just as resonant as those with tighter grain. That guitar sounds fantastic!
Angela & Sarah both on the same day! (Great acoustics too)
The longer scale length of an OM28 sounds sweeter , but that sure is a nice 000 .

More Angela please 🎸
these are great
mine is a 68
I have a beautiful '70.
@@mattrogers1946 the 000 body is perfect for so many things
I love this model
@@garycoates4987 Me too!
:) cool
I have 8 decent electrics and here I am pining for an acoustic... I've been playing the same beat up £50 richlite fingerboard Stagg for too long!
my 74 D18 has the exact same case.
is that a 25 inch scale? I know some from back then then were.....my 2016 is 24.75
what's that 2nd song?? sound so familiar, but can't find out...
Fire and Rain (James Taylor)
Those two had no masks on I wonder why.
Breaking that girl was written and played on a 12 string Martin by John Frusciante
Hello Norman Guitars,
I've enjoyed uR vids concerning the Martin 000- series of guitars. Although not as popular, I'd be interested if U would follow up with a look at the 00-, 0- series. Maybe a sound comparison against the 000-
Thx
All the best

Ty for peps & Taylor AP Big Love. I no 3 yrs ago. Oh well❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just yesterday they let me know you were gone
Sweeeet.
Thanks....the V doesn’t get a lot of love.....or they are very, very quiet about it. Great V necks don’t need the metal. Groovy !
That looks just like my 000-mv I bought from guitar center for a thousand bucks
I still can't play tho. Nice demo
Breaking the girl 😍
Gorgeous instrument. Can't say if it's the strum or guitar but it sounds weak on the bottom.
With Todd gone, choosing between Angela and Brendon for the best acoustic demos is not so easy.
@Shawn D died from a popped high E string
Shawn D he and family moved away from the west
Shawn D it wasn’t too publicized - just hints here and there. If you do the social media thing, you can probably find him. ✌🏼
Looks like front center seam crack repair?
Nice tall saddle
That Martin Sounds So Good Hi Jen
God she is gorgeous!
It has a truss rod..... it's just that it is not an adjustable truss rod.
Nice guitar, but it should be played more gently. Dreads were made for that type of playing. I liked your finger picking. That’s the style that guitar was made for.
TWISTING AND TURNING YOUR FEELINGS ARE BURNING YOU'RE BREAKING THE GIRL!
Is there any reason why one needs to use a capo to play an instrumental solo? It's not like having to change key to accomodate a singer's voice, or to fit in with other instruments playing in a weird key.
Maybe she likes the way it sounds genius
@@MRPERFECT_79 I know, right?
Because it's easier. WTF.
@@guitarocd9984 Easier to what?
@@MRPERFECT_79 You're kidding, right?
Hi girl.
Does she know there are holes in her jeans?
Yikes or is Yeet these days? 🤔
No masks?
Poor girl she can't afford to buy a pair of unripped pant!
hate to say it, but it sounds awful being strum hard from 5:00 till 6:00, I don't know if the aging killed the sound or it's just the size/shape that doesn't lend itself to hard strumming, but it sounds bad to me.
nice guitar but...without a good mic nobody knows how this thing really sounds. sounds just like a 150 dollars guitar to me.
Poor girl can't afford a decent pair of Jean's!
GUITAR CENTER SUCKS
Why are u not wearing masks?????
