Absolutely brilliant (as ever) with such excellent modelling and, better still, great commentary; I love your videos and cannot wait for the next instalment. Regards, Eric
Excellent, layout and the tour, animations and narration. It’s really nice to get hear your reasoning behind things. Great cameos. Does justice to the thousands of hours that must have gone into creating this. All the best Stephen
Hi Chris. Brilliant vlog as always buddy. Love seeing the terriers one my favourite locos. Superb detail and commentary. Thanks Chris enjoyed it very much. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete....
What an awesome layout! Great video editing and great offscreen presentation. And great stop motion and added sounds. Fantastic! Greetings from a new subscriber! I wonder if a tower or boiler chimney might help to hide the corners in the backdrop, near the bridge. A small low relief boiler house or small low relief factory with the chimney folded around the corner of the backdrop might fit at the right side, where the long row of houses is. A big tree folded around the corner could be an alternative.
What a lovely tour of a wonderful layout. Some excellent camera angles which made it all the more memorable. Although I’ve not got a layout myself ( due to commitments in other aspects of the modelling hobby) I absolutely love looking into the world of trains and all the skills exhibited. Loved the animations and the relaxed manor in which the tour was narrated…..almost like stepping back in time. Loved every minute of it…keep up the great work……subscribed.
Hi Chris, a great video finishing off the tour round Melchester. The details you included in the narration was really wonderful. I really liked the area around the High St how you got the bridge running through the town and so close to the buildings. I also liked the thought you put into camera angles around the low relief town buildings, from this side or that, but not this third one. Thanks for the whole series of videos, they really show your layout wonderfully. All the very best Dave.
I have City of Truro, she is preserved and owned by the NRM. This video is way too long for my liking, and I prefer it to be created without commentary. By the way, Christmas is on the horizon. Time for some steam hauled Santa Special trains to be in operation. Let's hear some Christmas music/songs playing in the background.
Thanks Kelly, City of Truro is a lovely looking loco, but its the only GWR one I have in my collection! Unfortunately it would have been hard to make a layout tour without any commentary, so a necessary evil I'm afraid. Any way, if you're looking for some festive cheer, check out my Christmas video from a couple of years back...ruclips.net/video/TE5OKCkC2e4/видео.html

What a fantastic layout 🎉
Many thanks!
This is a delightful railway, packed with interest. It is lovely to see trains running at scale speeds and starting and stopping realistically.
Thank you very much, I tried to show some of the details that are easily overlooked or not seen.
Wonderful. Some great ideas and very well explained. It's not my era but I was hooked and now Subscribed.
Thanks for watching, and subscribing!
All beautifully put together and full of interest. 🙂

Thanks for your comments Dave, much appreciated. The High street area is one of my favorite areas too.
great vid on channel thanks for share
Thanks Lee!
The retaining walls aren't retaining anything ....
It depends which ones you're referring to, but all of them were designed to retain something.
