@@Nixendz Definately will take a while to learn well, you have to have very nimble fingers. Also I recommend trying and buying guitars somewhere like guitar center rather than ordering online, just so you know if it sounds how you want it to sound, or feels how you want it to feel.

FC means Full Combo. Which means you don't over strum or miss a note in the whole song. Basically, the total amount of notes in the song has to be your note streak.

it is to represent an open string being played, not a fretted one. all string instruments can play open string, but because of guitar having chords, its hard to have a purple and a red for example, so green has stuck for open strings for guitar, hope this helps

import the songs. It's on option within GH WoR itself. You can find it somewhere with other DLC menu's. insert the key code from your other game (on the back of the instruction booklet). it will still cost you 440 microsoft points, but once you do it you basically have EVERY GH:Metallica song (every metallica song and a few other songs like war ensemble)
because the guitar hero vocals are awesome and recognize more than the original octave :)

its open strum for bass. so you dont hold down any of the buttons just click the strum button
it was added to make the bass tracks more difficult to play. you just don't push any buttons when you see them and strum

my main issue with guitar hero was they pushed to try and be more realistic but. without the individual strings the guitar changes in this one made kinda no sense

@Masterofcontinues no songs from van halen can be exported, and the 20 songs from smash hits are the songs that bore u to death and will never wanna play again, if u wanna play songs like cowboys from hell, ttfaf, raining blood, laid to rest or any song like that u will have to put in the smash hits disc

i pretty much self taught myself to drums with guitar hero, and now i have a real kit and can play this like a pro, not discouraging your point, im just saying it doesnt seem impossible to practice on guitar hero and actually get good at something with the closest experience you have until you get an actual guitar or whatever
