- for some of you, this is uploaded on 1st of April. want to make this clear right now that this was not intended, its just my internet being great as usual
there is a bit of a story for this video. i know i did say that i was done with the "All of n's Levels" for some time and while i still had creators that i wouldn't mind covering for a video, i was going to drop it for now. one of the creators that i had an interest in covering was Michigun, simply cause he had one deleted level that wasn't known to the public but i decided to leave it to someone else
as most people know now, Michigun has passed away and it sparked a ton of videos and trends relating to it. i was originally not going to do anything but there were a number of requests that i make a video showcasing all of Michigun's levels and that was pretty much the last push that i needed to make an exception. what do i think of Michigun's levels as a whole? flawed but very charming, i was inspired by his levels years ago when he was actively grinding. i was definitely not a fan of Trip but that wasn't Michigun's fault

I know people that are close friends with me are grieving the loss as I write this description. I am not a saint of any kind but if its any consolation, do not grief the loss; cherish the fact you were able to share your life with Michigun. If not that, be happy you were able to witness the cut-short journey he had and what he accomplished during that time.

for people saying that i should demonetize the video, i honestly cannot. the video was caught for the Cane Swinging piano cover for identical melody, alas ads are going to be placed whether we like it or not. its the same for Neiro where the ads of his are caused by the copyrighted music, not of his own will and its probably going to be the same for almost all videos showcasing Michigun's levels. some of Michigun's levels use copyrighted music and the artists of those songs will make a profit from that no matter what

@@wael128 the triple spike was sort of michigun's symbol, obviously he didn't create it but he popularized it and is quoted with saying that "Every level needs a triple spike".

it's actually quite rare to see stargrinders of michi's caliber who are talented creators. michi never built anything special, but like you said he has his own unique style and charm to his work. stargrinders usually never have the time to build anything because a lot of it is taken up from maintaining their stats

I think the reason for that is it was a lot easier getting on the top 100 back then compared to it is now. You only needed around a few thousand stars or so
Yeah most stargrinders are bad at creating or just to lazy. Michi took it to another level

The Man, The Myth, The Legend, Michigun.
I never got to know him. He left before I even started playing. But his legacy has had a lasting effect on me and the entire community. I wish he was still around, as does everyone.

I think what made Michigun’s death so sad for me is from my beginning of playing gd on an iPad mini 2 to a pc in 2021, all those 6 years you could open the top players tab and see his name without even scrolling down. And even before I started playing in 2015, Michigun had been here from the beginning. He is an absolute legend

Finding out that Michigun passed away struck me with as much grief as if a family member had. This one man had so much impact on me, having first leanred about him back in 1.8 from water temple. His creation inspired me to start building, and his star grinding skills inspired me to try it out too. Being a mobile player/creator, he was a role model for me, and is still to this day. Rest in Peace Michigun. You shall be remembered for generations. Lest We Forget~

@@swj8 Its used for any death period that ended in an unexpected way. Although originally used for war, it has since branched to almost every gravestone
i was so distraught when i woke up to michigun dying.. he's been my idol on gd for years and now he's gone.. i miss him :(

Oh my god man, when i saw this in my recommended i just went "oh cool maybe i can kind of see whats the community doing in the comments" and i see... This. I never was that attached to michigun or the og creators, but even then i recognized his impact to the gd community. This is such a tragic thing to a someone who was in his early 20's, who still had his entire life ahead of him. Thank you michigun for the lives you have inspired. /\/\/\
