@@TampaAerialMedia i hiked the first half of the appalachian trail and the first 30 miles in north georgia are still my favorite part so far. I hated the smokey mountains honestly, felt like disney land in the woods
Once again, WHAT AN EDUCATION! I knew absolutely Nothing about these areas of Georgia! I never even associated the state with the Blue Ridge Mountains! I can't thank you enough for all you have enlightened me about. Happy Holidays!
Thank you so much for this video. My wife and I are celebrating our 2nd Wedding Anniversary next month and we are going here! I really love the amount of history and culture you show in your videos. I also am very excited to check out the places you visited. We also watched your Chattanooga video too! :)
As a resident now of GA, we've been to Helen multiple times. You MUST check out Helen during Christmas-so beautiful. And Blue Ridge will take your breath away! Fun off roading! Thanks for a great video!
I'm 72 and grew up in N. GA. I remember when Helen was just a speck on the map. My Dad and I trout fished in Helen when I was a kid. Now it is a vibrant City.
I was born raised in Georgia,Helen is my favorite place. I will be 63 Saturday God willing been visiting Helen since I was 18. Always rent a house or cabin from Tangle wood. Stop down at International cafe sit on the porch by the river and have a camel rider a wonderful sandwich. Slice of Helen has great pizza. So beautiful a place
Nice video. I spent my honeymoon in Northern Georgia. This brings back good memories. My husband really likes Paul’s Steak house. We are hoping to return in 2024. There are many cabins that can be rented in this area and they are very dog friendly. The wineries and the trails are great. One more tip…Spring is beautiful in the North Georgia Mountains.
My wife and I also honeymooned to Helen in '83. It was a beautiful place with snow on the ground in February. Moved up to White County from South Georgia and have been here since '95. TAM picked the right time to capture the beauty here in North Georgia and did an excellent job of informing the viewer.
Thankyou Eric was good talking with you last night, made me feel much better... Some time in the coming year would like to spend a day looking at your work flow with videos, looking at Divinci Resolve, and discussing ideas.
I loved beautiful Georgia. What a beautiful state. Everything was fantastic and I think Baily loved it all too. So many great people and your perfect presentation. My mother was originally from Germany, so I am familiar with the food and love it too. Thank you Randy.
Your travel videos are by far the best on RUclips! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and the wonderful scenery. I literally get inspired to make the trek to a lot of the places you highlight! Love your new buddy Bailey, but was heartbroken to hear about Bella! 🥲 Keep up the great work, and many blessings to you! Godspeed! 🙏🏼
This video is fantastic! What a way to show a beautiful themed town in the middle of the mountains. We went up there for the first time a few years back and hope to make it up there again. We were there during Octoberfest and it was just one party after another. The music, the food and especially the people were so friendly. I’m so happy this video popped up and can’t wait to go back.
Thank you for your video!! It was so informative and the visuals were beautiful. I’m super excited to visit Helen next year and this was THE BEST video covering the area. Thank you again and looking forward to exploring your other videos as well!!
I was in Helen years ago working. Only one day and my job was much the same as it is today: I was a route sales rep for a snack company, so I didn't get to see a whole lot of the town. Very charming.
Wow I just missed you as I visited Helen for the first time in September. I wish I could have seen your video before I went but I did do a few things you showed. Now I need to go back and see what I missed. Take care my friend and Bailey! We never forget Bella!
In 1971, I rode a Honda CB350 motorcycle from Adel, Ga to Mammoth Cave National Park, Ky on none but back roads. I stopped at Brasstown Bald and to save money I decided to walk up the trail from the parking area to the overlook; sometimes saving money isn't the best decision. I stayed two nights in Vogel State Park, camping in a small tent, before proceeding toward Blairsville, Ga. I remember that trip above all the others I took on that bike because I ran into a hail storm just outside Blairsville. Trust me, nickel size hail on a motorcycle with no windshield is a painful experience.
I have visited there 3 times and would visit more but not able to drive anymore, I would love to visited it again with my brother. I like Stone Mt. and have been there 5 times.
Like the Greenville video, I love how you highlight other areas around the town. This is another place on my list and I'm hoping to knock Georgia and South Carolina off my list of states
Hey Randy, nice video! I go to Helen every year for river tubing, and it's awesome! Also, just south of Helen is Gwinnett County Georgia where it has another large lake called lake Lanier, and the largest mall in Georgia, the mall of Georgia.
The helendorf hotel is just awesome my wife and I stayed there when our son and his new wife and son lived in Cleveland Ga and both attended Trueet McConnell 👍
Man it looks like I just missed you on this trip. Living in Blueridge mountains, I've been here a handful of times - but you've shown a lot I haven't seen yet. Well organized, thoughtful presentation. Thank you for sharing, subscribing!
