One of the most exciting regular season games in Saints history. This was the game when the Saints showed they were for real that year. They were 5-0 prior to this but they had been in control of every game to the point they hadn’t trailed in any of their games. To be down 24-3 on the road and to comeback and win when the other team wasn’t done scoring yet shows how high powered their offense was.
Its not mentioned enough the irony of the Saints playing the Dolphins at Miami which was where the Superbowl was that year. They fall behind, make a huge comeback and the game is sealed with a Tracy Porter pick 6.
Both of those plays were definitely one of the greatest plays by the Saints in their entire franchise. It’s amazing that both of these incredible plays occurred in the same game!
I was there, and up 24-3..I thought we were gonna blow them out until that qb sneak right before halftime, but never did I expect a complete collapse like that
the death of the wildcat. Saints DC Greg Williams started blitzing both corners when the Dolphins were in that formation. The WC was never heard from again
I love this game so much, I remember watching this one being so pissed because it was only 2 years before this that the dolphins were 1-15. But man what a turn of events.
I know right! Not only was this the defining moment of this magical season, it was a defining moment of this entire franchise! On this day the Saints proved to everyone that they ain’t messing around.

12:07 coolest pick-six
16:44 honestly the second best hurdle in nfl history, the slow-mo shot from the end zone is so iconic.

That doesn't make sense. As a Saints fan, I thought the Dolphines ran the wildcat well in this game. Why would it end after one game?
That isn't true. They still ran it in games after this one

I remember watching this game and saying we have something no other team has

Portor is the man who brought Manning Down a bit😮
One of the greatest come backs ever our super bowl run was everything
Bush was a beast,i was glad to get him from USC
This was one of the best game.Yhe second half comeback was the best thing ever
Dolphins had Marino, he was good, but otherwise irrelevant
🎉too soon I will never forget this game
Wyatt dropping dimes!
2009 was Tracy Porter best season.
Such a sloppy game lol
Devin white the qb from WV would be 1st rd pick today's game
The refs were helping the Dolphins in the 1st half
Poor Rickey Williams thought he was gunna get revenge but what had happened? Who Dat
Who dat
Seem like they like to play from behind 😮
I remember the Ronnie Brown days, that dude was something special and dangerously combined with Ricky Williams. The Saints played horribly this game 😫
John Parry was such a gutless worm of a ref. Walking PoS and disgrace to football.
