I'm going to see Colter Wall in Portland, Oregon tomorrow. I had heard she was opening for him at his Canadian concerts, but not in the US, that makes me sad, because she has great talent and sings about things I care about.
This current crop of genuine musical artists..they're just coming up now..phenomenal. This woman is an example of it. I've heard music since the mid-'70's. I've never heard anything so true to the human spirit. Keep going! You're very special; never forget.
I thought I loved her duo with Zach Bryan, but this takes me back to my “Sunshine” singing oldies to me while making biscuits when I was a child. This song stole my heart. ❤❤❤ Makes you want to go back to being a kid and chase cows on the go cart. Makes you want to go sit at the table with the grandparents and tell them how someone hurt your feelings while they give a Christ like response rather than watch you get your lick back. Makes you want to ask daddy something stupid and he responds with a chuckle and never admits that it was kind of dumb lol! Makes you want to wake up at mama’s house to muffins and CMT in the mornings. The kind of music that makes you miss the world before you knew it was so damn ugly.
