Neagley pushing through her issue with touching to comfort the cop was really nice. she's my favorite non-reacher character
Shes so unique as a female character. No make up, not feminine, not into men, seemingly even asexual. She and Russo are the best.
Reacher is definitely going to go Scorched Earth next episode. I can't wait.
I predict the baddies capture Dixon, and seriously injury her or kill her--which will really amp up Reacher's revenge.

Yeah me too. I was really pissed when he "apparently" dies, but I'm not giving up hope. He and Reacher were developing a mutual respect for each other and I was more or less expecting it to go further. With the way it fifnished, it was probably a deliberate cliff hanger to keep us interested. I didn't realize it at first, that the real bad guy is the hitman who came back to kill Arnie in the Terminator.
Yeah, just as we learned for sure that Russo wasn't dirty, they kill him off. Unless, they didn't. If I was writing the show, I'd have Russo declared dead--but secretly have him recovering at an out-of-the-way location. Having one person "off the playing field" could be handy for Team Reacher, and Russo can re-appear in the finale to help take down the baddies.
He had a good run. Thought he was bent at first but turns out he's a good guy.

I hope Russo isn't actually dead. As a character they've really done him dirty. Reacher beat him up, he's constantly accused of being corrupt, the team keeps him largely in the dark, then they turned him into a baby sitter and an obvious target and left him with no backup! I wanted to see him get some redemption for being the season's whipping boy! If he is actually dead then he's been a sadly 2-dimensional stereotype of a character that was completely wasted.

Not that it's 100% accurate but his character shows as only appearing in 6 episodes on iMDB, but that could be that only 6 episodes have been played.
This episode is poorly constructed all the way around. It sucked and needed extensive reworking to make it more plausible. It's the first honker episode in the Reacher series. The first season was flawless --- this episode shaves off points from this season.

I've read the books, and yes, this strays from "Bad Luck and Trouble" a bit. But I find it entertaining, and remember, this isn't real life. People saying this is absurd, that is absurd are really missing the point. It's fantasy and very entertaining. I hoping for a season 3.
Unfortunately I’m like 99% sure Dixon was called up by Swan to assist with the New Age situation and now has been turned. In the flashbacks we see how useful she is. In present day? She hasn’t help 1 bit and basically acts as a toy to distract Reacher. Also, when telling Reacher about her “undercover” mission she avoids eye contact, because she’s lying.
Yeah I have a bad feeling about her somehow.
They've taken a few liberties with the book, but nothing overly egregious. The whole 110th is clean.

The script is amateurish at best, the support cast is a joke and the fight/pursuit scenes are absolute garbage.
Characters are either totally flat or utterly unbelievable. Meh.
@@Ascaron1337 Well the show is pretty book accurate. Reacher is well cast and yes he's a little wooden but that's how he is in the book. The supporting cast seems okay. The weakest part is the weapons conspiracy story which isn't anything new and has been done countless times in movies and films. There's some good action with the motorcycle gang, the secret meeting truck depot and the sniper attack at the shipping yard. Sure this ain't John Wick which is ridiculous. Reacher is a private detective not a smooth assassin.

I feel like dixon is in on it and during that flashback to the kilo in swans car thinking he stole maybe it was trying to throw the scent off the actual person who was actually stealing it

my boy Russo he was a good cop from the start to the end and I love when he was dying all he care was it the girl alive, he died like his father did protect and now Russo died, I wonder what his boss going do since he took the money when New age bride him, it he going double down and become more evil or he going switch to good cause like during this episode we learn the Russo boss been in his life since he was a baby and now Russo gone I hope he want payback and I love how Reacher take down Langston one by one, their first mistake was spilt up, you never spilt up and Langston keep underestimating Reacher

Honestly I’m starting to think Dixon is the mole and framing Swan herself. Says she would kill him why is that? Maybe it’s because she knows he can prove she’s behind it and he found that out

After reading (and loving!) the books, I love the variations incorporated into her series- fantastic creative choices that don’t lose sight of the main premise. The characterisation of Reacher also shows a bit of nuance but I’m not against that either, although I imagine some avid fans would be aggrieved A kudos for outfit it out there that you hadn’t read the books. You should they’re awesome
I reckon Swan is either dead or working under duress. My guess is he's outlived his usefulness to the enemy, and the 2 other team operatives who died in horrific ways, would support the theory that he too bit the dust - unless he's a super-villain!
I haven’t watched this show yet I had it on my watch list a couple years ago and then took it off and then put it back on and took it off but your videos make me wanna watch it again so I think I will, show looks pretty damn good and I don’t remember Reachers actor name but I loved that dude in Blue Mountain State years and years ago, he was hilarious in that show, and I thought he was really good in Fast X

I like the game controller covering part of the car when it hits the guy trying to kill the girl.
Russo didn't have to break cover and charge head on into gun fire. He could've just provided cover fire behind the car and the girl could've still ran away.
He could have, but I think his thought was to provide as much of a distraction as he could so they wouldn’t notice the girl running away.
@@Likeomgitznich I would think a hail of bullets would be quite sufficient for a distraction. As long as he has bullets, no one is going to advance on their position without cover unless they have a death wish.
@@fialee8ca132 not sure how 1 dude with a hand gun could produce anything close to a hail of bullets. The point being, if the focus on him coming towards them with a gun, they might be less likely to notice the girl running away

I am highly suspicious that it is Dixon who betrayed them, back in episode 5 I think she was the one who aimed at the truck and sabotage it so they cannot follow the goon, cause Neagley is an excelent marksman, so she can't be the one who shoot at the truck
that combat scene in end reacher was attacking langston gang..it was like they are not targetting reacher.they were trapped with reacher..as he was the biggest threat there...cast this guy as doomguy asap

The cop didn’t have to die. There was no sign the men were trying to push up. Cop could have stayed back and fired slowly waiting for back up.

The biggest twist will be if Russo turns out to be bad guy. The shooting could have been staged.

I'm starting to think Dixon isn't going to make it. She's already fulfilled her romance with Reacher, she has no family.
The cop getting killed is where the show reverted to typical TV tropes. He could've run with the girl. He could've stayed behind the car instead of the ridiculous walking slowly iut from behind it. Overall a really fun show but too many times they fall into common scenes you find on a network program.
I feel that the detective will be the last straw. No one else will die. And I also think Dixon and the other guy are in on it. Neagley is too close to reacher to be in. But the other two I have always suspected. Especially that time O’Donnell got that call from his “kids”

Firtstly, I love the Reacher books and have read them all through at least three times over the years. I read the book Reacher 2 is based on quite recently (the third time!) and, and i am probably in the minority in this, I am a bit disappointed. The TV series has deviated considerably from the book to the point where I am really struggling to recognise it. I thought Reacher 1 was brilliant and stayed reasonably close to the great book Lee Child wrote, but, for me, Series 2 has stepped too far from the Lee Child story line and isn't grabbing me anything like as much as Series 1 did. I will still watch it all the way through and look forward to Series 3 but really hope it stays true to the book.
Love the show and the books BUT: a chase scene and the call is to Reacher rather than 911 citing badge number and “Officer needs Assistance”. Does not compute ( yeah I know, dramatic tension and all that
Russo being a seasoned cop who he knows is being targeted by dangerous assassins, would never put himself in a situation without wearing a bulletproof vest. Depending on the velocity and caliber of the bullets, they could have penetrated the vest just far enough to cause blood loss and trauma. There is still hope for him yet.
I am sorry, but I have read the book(s). Dixon and the other guy are not bad guys (at least in the book). Neither is Swan, but in the book, the “detective” was a bad guy…but I think it is a different detective since the name is different.

I have a theory and also I'm one of the people who has not read the book yet. I think that David O'donnell is one of the bad guys and here is why. There is a scene in episode 6 where Russo and the girl were trying to leave to go to a safehouse but they were already followed and being watched. In this instance Langston didnt even know that Marlo was working with Reacher and about the setup but still the some bad guys already tailed Russo. There were only couple of people knows about the setup, it was Russel and Reacher's team but we can vouch of Russo's innocence which leads us to one conclusion. There is a rat in Reacher's group and I think it is David. There was also a scene were David was calling to both of his sons with a burner phone. I think David was actually giving codes to alert his accompliances. This will also makes sense narrative wise becuase in this scene Reacher wasn't even paying attention to David which makes the reveal of David being a bad guy much appealing. I may also be wrong and that the goons were sent by his rat friend and ordered the hit after they talked.
Just a heads up about this book tv series. There is no such thing as the 110 MP CID unit. Yes the number is false but in reality the CID has 1 job and MP units have another. They're never combined in any 1 unit together. I'm a retired Army MP. This I do know. So it makes it really difficult to watch this except for entertainment purposes

I really wish, they make the last 2 episodes as action packed as in the book. The way Reacher kills the Helicopter pilot in the book, I hope they put it in. Also I am not liking this season as much as s1. It's very lack lustred and you can see that everything was rushed.
After reading it's like I said all along in the first series this season should have been at least 10 to 12 episodes. It is still too rushed but it is a great series. Can't wait for the final episodes.

Great series, but too many illogical situations bothered me this time. The ambush to kill Langston was poorly and unrealistically executed. Why does Marlo Burns wait to be picked up by Langston at an abandoned bus depot randomly standing in an alley doing nothing? Why is Langston travelling at all if the killers could execute Burns on their own or kidnap her for further questioning?
Why does Reacher stand uncovered in the courtyard of the bus depot to call Langston? He was unnecessarily vulnerable at that moment.
Why do the killers wait at Russo's house until Russo drives off and then attack him directly by drive-by in the same neighbourhood with hundreds of residents and not take him out quietly in the house or from a distance beforehand?
How can it be that Russo's car is bombarded with heavy fire for minutes on end, but doesn't even have a flat tyre? As an attacker, why wouldn't you try to hinder the fleeing car's mobility?
Why doesn't Russo take cover directly behind the front or rear wheel (much better protection from deflected bullets that can pass under the car?!)?
Why don't Russo's pursuers flank him, but instead shoot at the car for what feels like a minute without improving their angle of a attack?
Why does the helicopter's machine gun fire miss Reacher even though it can see him early on and has a clear shot?
Because Reacher is too massive!
I get it, it's a fun action series and I don't usually mind that sort of thing, but this time it kind of got to me.
...Why do the protagonists around Reacher use usual mobile phones at all, which makes them very easy to track down for men with Langston's power?

who called in the freakin helicopter and how did it locate langston ??
Russo will make it and while he's recovering in the hospital, O'Donnell and Dixon will watch over him while Reacher and Nealey work the case. O'Donnell and Dixon will both be taken hostage from the hospital and Reacher will take out Langston while Nealey goes after the engineer.That's how it happened in the book, anyway... not the Russo part because that's not in the book, but O'Donnell and Dixon did get taken at the hospital when the crooked cop told them Swan had been found and to meet him to ID the body.
I'm predicting that a.m. will kill at least one of the special investigators. Why hasn't the team met him yet? It doesn't make sense. I bet Shane doesn't know what this assassin looks like since we've only seen them talking on the phone.

As much as I love this series, I hate it what they/the authors did with Russo. Aside the fact that a highly likeable chartacter portrayed by an amazing actor was killed, his downfall was sloppily written. It made absolutely no sense for him to heroically present himself in the line of fire when he knew that back up was just about to arrive. And then when he lay dying, not one of these highly trained investigators thought of applying pressure to his wound to stem the blood loss. The screenwriters could have done so much more. I have not read the books so I was desperately hoping that Russo would pull through and seeing that he had confronted his boss about corruption and Reacher having lost half of his crew, I would so have loved to see Russo join the team.

The fact Russo being a cop , being shot at on the street and not calling for back up , but calls Reacher when Russo can have lots of police surrounding these shooters , all the police cant be corrupt, this makes no sense, I kept yelling at screen, Your a cop!! Call for backup, assistance, anything!!
I don't think so. He doesn't know who's batting for New Age (corrupt cops), and therefore he could be calling more enemies to a gun fight!

I hate Prime for killing Guy Russo. Like his father died for being an honest cop, and the son has to die for similar thing? Common! Who would want to be honest when they see that no good comes out for it
It was illogical for Russo to go and shoot at the bad guys by himself to save the girl. He called Reacher and crew to come and they said they were almost there. That was a dumb ending to the episode.
I really hope Langston gets thrown out of a helicopter at the end of the season. And it would honestly surprise me if Dixon and OD are good. One of them has to be the double agent, maybe even both. In episode 6 it was shown that OD wanted to stay when the group wanted to go and save Russo and the kid. I feel like OD knew reacher would easily kill Langston and his goons and that's why he was trying to stay. Dixon just feels like a distraction. I wouldn't be surprised if she would be like Langston's daughter or something idk. I haven't read the books, but maybe they changed some characters in the show idk.
it also could have been Neagley all along. Cuz she was also shown alot in the flashbacks with Swan, but they would not do that right....right..

It kinda annoyed me that Reacher ended up being right about Swan being good. I wanted him to be wrong for once and just be human.
Why did it need explaining?
I don't understand why Neagley went to Russo and just held him for comfort. Why a nice touch, she is a trained military combatant and would know to look for wounds and to attempt first aid to stop bleeding, etc. Seems out of character to me and not realistic.

O'Donnell seems so obvious, that I hope it's Dixon. Roscoe is a better love interest. Never mind what they do in the books, I want Roscoe back. I think they made a mistake building up the villains. AH is ruthless, but does anyone believe Reacher falls for his tricks?? The t1000 has seen better days and is clearly not a match for Reacher.
There was one point in this past episode during the bedroom scene where I was like, "I think she's in on it...👀" Outside of that I've never suspected her before now of anything. Oh and sorry but... Dixon >>> Roscoe 🤷🏽♂
@@werewolfroad lol I love your comparison here 😂👏🏽I will say though, that they both do have some similarities. Both are intelligent. Both have a propensity for action. Both are physically attractive in their own way.
That being said, I think the biggest difference between the two, besides their physical looks, is that Roscoe has that "small town girl who will live and die in the small place having never seen the world" while Dixon gives you that "worldly and cultured fancy vibe check".
But hey, I respect people who are team Roscoe. I completely get it 👍🏽😁

Jesus Christ this was a bad episode. Loved the first season but this is Walker Texas Ranger bad. It is clear as day that A.Ritchson is so involved in movies that he has no time to choreograph fights so he mostly strangles his enemies. Six episodes down and still not one great fight or cool moment like in season 1 (except for biker fight). And the writing omg. This super assassin waits for the police woman to call in his fake ID and vehicle and then kills her. Give me a break. And the last scene is pure stupidity. It seems that when Ritchson bulked up for season 2 he lost ability to move at all. I swear to you, in this episode he makes a grimace on his face by just taking his shirt off. Pathetic.
I am a really big fan of Domenick Lombardozzi so was really pissed he was killed in this episode. Still, he portrayed a good cop, doing right. So, 👍 And, as I gay man I really found the ‘Chad’ character obscenely pretentious. I mean, ‘Chad’ was “…going to have a word with his groundskeeper.” Groundskeeper. Bitch, you ain’t living in Atherton. And, we did get to see Reacher with his shirt off in this episode, so 👍👍.

Russo, my favorite NY Cop. I know they need to kill him off because they need him to play Chicky on Tulsa King, but I would rather see Chicky gone. Hopefully, he can survive until the end. At least, he needs to get a millitary funeral with Reacher doing something special.
I say it's O'Donnell if u go back to the one scene where they talk bout one kilo missing n find it in the car at first O'Donnell is the last on to walk in the room then couple seconds later they say maybe it's in the car ..I think he left it in the car n tried to say it was the other guy even way back then....he's done other suspicious stuff like weird outta place phone calls to....go back n rewatch the every episode again n pay attention to O'Donnell closely more this time u watch it n u will see it's been him the whole time n he's also always the first one to blame the other guy ....but it could be the lady n O'Donnell also but idk it's def O'Donnell in my opinion tho ....what do u guys think???

if you watch the scene where they confronted the biker gang , while they were in the car going to the parking lot you can clearly see o´donnell looking back a few times , to me thats shows he knew they were going to confront the biker gang ... im saying hes dirty
That's what I think to n u can see it if u rewatch it n pay closer attention to O'Donnell.....he actually dose alotta lil suttle things that make me think he's gonna be the one who betrays the team...n that sucks cuz his character is actually pretty cool n shoulda been kept around for the future or a spin off lol....they want u distracted by him having a family also I think...just some of my thoughts ya know what I mean ? I could see the lady to just cuz the fling with reacher to for a bigger shock to so I'd say either her n O'Donnell or just O'Donnell .....but id say O'Donnell first...but who knows lol its just a good damn show either way 😂😂 . Sorry, season 2 sucks on so many levels. It’s very disappointing after a tremendously enjoyable season 1. Bad writing is the most glaring problem, but even the fight scene cinematography is way off compared to last year. And each episode seems to worsen the situation - were a bunch of psychotic writers and directors running the asylum? 😂😂Nothing they could possibly do with the final 2 episodes will get them out of the dog house. Hope those crafting season 3 will listen to the opinion of the viewers!
I like the show but this shows’ characters seem to be pretty stupid can’t imagine how they became investigators.

I didn't buy the chase through New York City with no traffic or cops chasing a car that has guys shooting guns at another car. Nor do I buy that Russo would decide his only option was to expose himself to shooters that have been shooting non stop at him while Russo is weighing his options. Those guys should have been jumping Russo as soon as they got to the dead end. Russo committed suicide by assassin by jumping out from behind his car with only the ammo in his chambers. Going into a shootout with 9 shots max? C'mon man! Rewrites!!!!!
Honestly can't describe how disappointed I am with this season. Your unstoppable group is unprepared the entire time. Its as if wow your doing it purpose so that the show can last longer. But if we all are being honest this entire season and it's not even over yet could have been put into a one 2-hour movie with a plot and game over. It's literally like watching one long episode. And for some reason they made reach her into this shy man that keeps trying to be funny and they keep cracking the same lame jokes. And I don't know how many times they have mentioned you don't mess with the special victims group or whatever the hell it's called. But yet every episode they get out done. I have watched Alan in every single one of his movies and DC series that kind of stuff. I think the thing that disappoints me the most is that the graphics look like they were this entire series was shot like on a I don't know Samsung first edition phone or something. Literally like regular 1080 60 HZ like it's nothing special lighting is off background sucks they use a bunch of cgi. The first season was straight up 100% more just better overall. All I'm saying is please do not turn into Dwayne Johnson The Rock who tries to make everybody happy and like you're a big dude you're a badass people love you for that but they should let you be you. And you definitely were not yourself this season
Is it possible that Russo is the bad guy and staged the ambush. We don't see him die, right.
Geez, I hope these books aren't as hokey as this TV show. The team banter is pathetic - I'm surprised they don't pray together regularly - not to mention the family-friendly sex. I hope they plan on having Reacher show his ass in the next season or the writing's on the wall for this show - especially now that Amazon Prime is gearing up to shows adds during the streams.
