    As an ethnic Chinese living overseas this video moves me. China has constantly been smeared as a bad country, people have no freedom and government is evil. The west could not wait to replace China with India economically. Everything in India is perceived by the west as better, democratic and should be the model for China to follow. The reality is the exact opposite. I have been to India a few times as part of my business trips to over 40 countries and it is the only country I vow that I will never take my wife to for a holiday.
    This video suggests China is well managed and Chinese people have culture. The national slogan "together for a shared future" is genuine. Foreign single girls or families with small kids all show the Chinese people will never take advantage of them but would bending backward to help them. This in fact is the Chinese culture I am familiar with because it is from Confucius teaching that every Chinese would have been taught, including President Xi himself!

    • @brennencox516
      @brennencox516 5 месяцев назад

      "people have no freedom" People in the PRC have freedom, this is true, but only the freedom the government allows them to have, which is true for every country.
      But what citizens of the PRC don't have is freedom of speech.
      "and government is evil" Well, not that long ago the CCP was responsible for forced abortions (during the 1-child policy), the Tiananmen Square massacre, the Cultural Revolution, the Hundred Flowers Revolution, and (dynamic) zero Covid policies. The CCP claims ownership over the island of Taiwan, even though the Republic of China was founded before the PRC, and the government and military of the RoC retreated to the island of Taiwan (the last of their territory that the CCP hadn't conqured), so it's a blatant lie for the CCP to claim ownership over that territory. Then there's just the bold faced lies the CCP tells, claiming people are spreading rumors when in fact they're not. Doctor Li was accused of such, nope. Someone reported Shanghai would be put into lockdown, they were detained or arrested for spreading rumors, then it happened a few days later.
      "and Chinese people have culture"
      They do, but part of the culture in the PRC is a product of what happened during Mao's reign of terror. I'm curious if you can figure out what I mean by that.
      "every Chinese would have been taught, including President Xi himself!" /smh

    As an Australian born Pakistani that has family in both Pakistan and India that travels to both countries by far an average Pakistani lives a better life than an Indian regardless of what any media will say. Also, foreigners from other races (South Asians that are western born kind of blend in, so the locals don't know they are foreign) regardless are very well treated in Pakistan. Whereas in India you will 100% be taken advantage of regardless where you're from. In Pakistan I will be a lot more safer walking with you than by myself as the bad people know if they touch a non South Asian foreigner, it will cause an international incident and the Pakistani army will be looking for them and will 100% find them after that what happens to them you don't want to know.

    I'm so sorry that happened to you 💔😞🙏 I pray for Indian women too, the government needs to work to protect women and the culture needs to become friendly to women too.

    Petroleum Engineering - Wow. I have a cousin who was one, worked in Alaska and made a small fortune enough for him to retire on in his mid-40s and then, traveled the world, before marrying his fiance (a Geological Engineer and so, it's sort of a related field). I wonder if your talents will be in demand in northern China in Inner Mongolia where they have a lot of mining going on there - that is, if you intend to continue your stay in China?

    China's brilliant and ingenious move to grant foreign tourists a 144 hour visa free transit tourism policy immediately shattered the long-standing anti China public opinion in the United States and the West, quickly reversing China's image and becoming the largest free publicity campaign in history!!! Looking across the vast land of China, there are majestic plateaus, undulating mountains, vast plains, gentle hills, as well as surrounding mountains and a flat basin in the middle. There are 5 basic landform types on land worldwide, all of which are distributed in China! The Chinese Mainland has natural landscapes full of diversity and characteristics, and many of them still remain primitive and appear in the original ecology. Their natural landscapes often have high aesthetic value, which makes people feel relaxed, happy, and open-minded. For example, the country is rich in countless natural beautiful scenes and styles, including mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, grasslands, deserts, glaciers, and so on. The people of all ethnic groups in the country have also learned, supported, and practiced various concepts and habits of respecting, conforming to, and protecting nature in their daily lives since childhood. The national government keeps pace with the times, earnestly grasps the integrity, systematicity, and inherent laws of the ecosystem, adheres to the integrated protection and systematic governance of mountains, waters, forests, fields, lakes, grasses, sands, and ice, implements high-quality ecosystem protection and restoration projects, and enhances national ecological security; The central and local governments are also actively promoting the implementation of various large and small projects for the integrated protection and restoration of mountains, waters, forests, fields, lakes, grasses, sands, and ice. Let us work together to achieve the great goal of a beautiful China and benefit future generations!
    As we all know, Chinese Mainland has long been a must see place for tourists from all over the world. They have long been interested in visiting the land of China. They are eager to explore and understand a country with a high level of civilization and culture, experience and appreciate the ancient civilization with a culture of 5000 years, and hope to get a glimpse of the leopard through one or even more trips to China. In fact, it is full of cultural landscapes and beautiful scenery like stars. Tourists from all over the world, whether domestic or overseas, can travel all over the country and enjoy the scenery of lakes and mountains. Tourists from all over the world can be fascinated, linger and forget to leave! In addition, tourism facilities are complete in various parts of China today, with clean and hygienic areas, comfortable accommodation, convenient transportation, public security and safety, as well as a wide variety of food, entertainment and shopping options, making tourists feel at home
