    Is it possible to use on Touch mini in Layer B? I will use the Layer A for Executers

      If you are talking about the X-Touch mini, then yes.
      That’s exactly how i work. I configure layer A encoders to send absolute values. And the encoders in layer B to send Relative values.

    Is it possible to have the inner outer incoders on seperate MIDI encoders instead of using a button to change from the outer to the inner encoder. I hope is makes sense. THANKS :)

      Your question does makes sense.
      Currently the plugin does not support that completely. Meaning you can not configure this.
      You can call the plugin directly, via macro, and rotate a specific encoder (inner or outer), by a specific amount.
      I just didn't think that it is a common use-case that people have MIDI controllers with 10 encoders (Or 5 double encoders like the console has)
      I might add this in the future.
      What is your exact use case?
      Do you have 10 encoders?
      Do you have 8 encoders? (and you don't care about the 5th one)

      Hello again, I finally downloaded the MIDIplugin and am using with the Behringer X touch. I am wondering what relative setting you have your set in for it to be no too sensitive. It seems to skip 10 at the start and the end (0-40 and 60-100) but in the middle it is a lot more detailed? What setting do you find the best to use? THANKS :)

      @@ma3proplugins696 I have a controller with 5 encoders. By pressing these I can access 5 different banks, so 25 are virtually available.
      If you would implement the feature to directly access all 10 controls I would definitly buy your plugin

    Im having trouble getting this to work with the APC40mk2. the encoders are very sesitive and seem to only register in certain areas on the encoders movement (ie it maxes out at 3/4 spin and hits minimum at 4/4 spin) im currently trying it with different modes but its not very easy. any suggestions could help thanks

      Please check the APC configuration and make sure the encoders are set to Relative mode and not Absolute mode.

      @@ma3proplugins696 Thank you for the fast response and yes that was the issue. For future reference the APC40mk2 only has two relative encoders the "cue level" and "tempo" all the others, although infinite spin, are absolute

      It looks like a brilliant controller.

    What kind of mode should I use for the xTouch Mini? MackieMode?

    • @ma3proplugins696
      @ma3proplugins696  Год назад

      I am not sure about MackieControl mode. I think it doesn't send relative values at all. So my answer would be No, not MAckiControl. But generic MIDI.
      You should open the "X-Touch Editor" application tool (Windows Only), connect to your controller and see what relative mode is configured. Then choose the appropriate mode in MA3 MIDI Encoders plugin.
      All 3 standard relative modes are supported.
      BTW: It's better to ask this kind of questions in our Facebook group called: "MA3 Pro Plugins"

    sirve para nanokontrol 2 ?

    • @ma3proplugins696
      @ma3proplugins696  Год назад

      No.
      The nanoKontrol 2 doesn't have infinite rotary encoders, but rather simple knobs.
      If you are looking for a similar size controller, I can suggest the Behringer X-Touch Mini.
      Maybe you can use BOTH X-Touch Mini and a nanoKONTROL 2.

    Can the encoder be a note value?

    • @ma3proplugins696
      @ma3proplugins696  Год назад

      No. Standard midi does not suggest note messages with relative values.
      But if you give up on acceleration, then you can add your own midi mapping and call tge plugin directly to perform encoder turn with a specific amount.

    • @ma3proplugins696
      @ma3proplugins696  Год назад

      I am currently working on adding custom configuration to the plugin, so it could work with any custom controller. Including ones that use Note ON.

      @@ma3proplugins696 Can we support OSC protocol signals to drive the encoder? Currently, I am using MIDI to OSC software to control MA3, its drivers, and buttons. This way, I cannot use MIDI drivers to connect to MA3 because MIDI devices only run and are read by one application
