I would love to see you try the new Juvia's place foundation and concealor. Heard it's pretty amazing and would love your opinion on ingredients and coverage. 😁
I don't have one but I am thinking if you can use it if you need to mix 2 foundations together. Since the foundation won't sink in, maybe you can still use it for mixing shades. Just a thought.
Kendra Morgan , I had an awful day and your 1st comment lightened my mood completely. I for real lol! I’m so glad you can laugh at yourself and didn’t erase it I needed that! Thank you! P.S. I’m still laughing!😂 (it happens to the best of us)
The push up liner was horrendous. Everytime I'd try to use it, I'd discover that the product had risen several millimeters out of the tip over night even though I stored it up right.
Emmaline Online agree. It was awful. You’d click forever to get the liner to come up and then it would explode and give you too much. Then you’d finally get the liner done. Next day. The liner has continued to rise overnight and wastes half the bottle!
I got one of those silicone makeup “sponges” and use it to apply my bha/aha from the ordinary, and other facial masks. So if you have some, keep them for that!
Nida Lloyd I haven’t tried it with a mud mask. I only use it for the bha/aha masks and peel of masks. Mainly because I don’t want those on my hands. Mud masks I actually like using my fingers for!
I use mine to apply all my face oils, serums and creams/,moisturizers. With as expensive as they are (face products, not silicone disc thingies) I don't want to waste a drop to absorption into my hands
The Too Faced Sweet Peach highlight, blush and bronzer is one of my favorites....it really is beautiful on fair skin. ❤️If I remember correctly...I didn't love it at first but then really did fall in love with it.
I love using my silicone "sponge" to put my face oils, serums and creams on. They're so expensive I don't want to waste any from it absorbing into my hands. It's so easy to rinse off and helps spread those babies all over my face w/o losing a drop!
Yes me to just bought one because I usually pump my foundation on to my hand and spread with my fingers but I hated doing that so I bought one at Ulta and I will never go back. The silicon is good at spreading the foundation around my face and then i just go in with a regular sponge towards the end makes my foundation look flawless!
I actually like the too faced sweet peach glow face palette, I have a similar skin tone as you do and the color shows up on me great. Everyones skin and preference is different I guess 😉
I loved this product as well but I will say with mine I had to build it up and really dig my brush in but I still feel like I haven't put I dent in it ever after 9 months.
The silicone tipped eyeshadow or glitter applicators work AWESOME for creamier shadows. For those shadows that say "best applied with finger". I swear by them! ELF sells really inexpensive ones. I know you were talking about face ones Jen, but you said any kind of silicone applicator, so I wanted to just throw this out there. ❤️
Michele Martin the ones for the face are also really neat for sunscreen or acids. And yeah the small ones for the eyes are awesome, I have one from essence and it works amazing with those textured shimmer shadows.
@@akbflo I love them for putting like a shimmer shade in the middle of the eyelid too. I've never tried them with matte shadows, don't think they'd pick up much of those. I think you have to order them online. Hopefully they still carry them.

The new wet n wild Crystal craven eyeshadows are a glitter fall out mess and the Lippies are nice at first but then the glitter sticks with no gloss not happy about it at all but the highlighter is phenomenal ✨
Oh my gosh! THANK YOU! The Urban Decay moondust shadows are so rough! I got one in an Ipsy bag a couple of years ago, and the fallout is immediate, it clumps instantaneously into little balls and doesn’t apply evenly because one half of the duotone falls out and only one color really sticks to the brush! Ugh! I wasn’t sure if I had a defective pan, seeing as it was an Ipsy sample, but glad to know it wasn’t just me!

I found a silicon blender that actually works for me. I just got it on clearance at Khols so I am not sure if they still make it anymore. But it's the Elf dual sided silicone blender. It has a velvet side on the other side that smooths everything out.
I've been watching your videos for a couple months now and really enjoy them. Thank you for being so level headed about everything you review. I really appreciate it!
Brooke Bixler in that case it works well! It helps keep things sanitary and you’re not trying to make a mask look like skin. I also hate getting masks all over the place 😵

I wear them everyday and have no issues with them! I think the key is to use not too much product :) Also, I use a chab stick im the lips before applying my make-up
You are spot on about the Nudestix Magnetic Matte Lip. Bought one recently& the SAME thing you described happened to me. In battling to get the weird chunks off my lips, it actually removed some skin. 😱
I used to love that thing! LOL It was the only way I could get a wing and make it look half decent. I did have the same drying issue, though. Always had to push up the dried out bit first in order to get to the creamy part.
Shanna Wheeler i loved it as well. getting past the dry bit, it was the best for making a great dark wing. also, the formula outlasted crying. I wore it to three funerals one year.
Omg. I had the too faced peach glow pallette, didn't show up on me at all minus the highlighter (I'm medium leaning tan) but it disappeares within 15mins. I gave it to my mother and it shows up beautifully and stays for a couple hours but only the blush though. She's 2 shades lighter than me and the bronze is still no where to be seen.
The ABH foundation stick is heavy and falls into lines but have you tried their contour sticks? Same line but since it’s contour, it’s not applied all over the face. I love their contour sticks, I use the shade Fawn and it works well for me! Helps my contour last all day. I’d love to hear your opinion on them!
I regret my too face holiday set too. I never reached for the shadows and when I tried to depot them they broke and the pans were soft and bent, some stuck to magnets others didn’t.
The new colorpop eye pencils are AMAZING I’ve gone through at least three within the past two months they’re AWESOME. Super precise and really easy to get some good coverage on them. I love it.
Hey Jen☺ I agree with everything you said except for one thing. You said ALL silicone makeup applicators were pretty much bad and I'm not sure if you meant only for face makeup, but I do have a couple of silicone tipped eye "brushes" that I think I picked up at TJ Maxx, and they work nicely for Colourpop Super Shock shadows. SSS are notoriously difficult to apply with regular bristled brushes and they suggest using fingers which I personally am not a fan of because I often get my nails done. The silicone "brushes" are a nice alternative to fingers while still getting the color payoff I want. I don't use any other cream type shadows regularly, but I would assume they might work well for those too. The other good option for Super Shocks I've found is the old school type sponge tip applicators. My only complaints with the sponge tips though is that they are so short and stubby and that you can really only use them once or twice before having to throw them away or struggle to wash them without them falling apart. The longer handles and reusability of the silicone "brushes" makes them better for me. There was a larger, maybe little smaller than a quarter diameter "brush" in the same set that was supposed to be for foundation/face, but it didn't work well for that so now I use it to apply clay or peel off type face masks without wasting product getting it all over my fingers. Love this series, would love to see maybe divided into categories like 20 worst foundations or 20 best lip products.
Murder Mystery and Makeup!!! Yaaas! Bailey is amazing! I love that your rocking other creators merch! I find I dislike most holiday collections. Drugstore or high end, the quality always goes down.
Have you tried the Pur festival palette that came in Boxycharm? i LOVE it😍 was curious how you felt about it because at first i didn’t really care for the colors and didn’t think it was for me but i’m really glad i kept it!!
I didn't try UD moondust powder shadow, but oh boi, I do have two moondust liquid eyeshadows. Other is so-so, but the other! It crumbles off before even finishing applying it and it shrinks and burns eyelids. Your skin is looking so fresh! This video was really helpful.
Hi Jen, you give beauties priceless info! There is too many claiming to be the best. Beauty scammers are making a buttload of $$ during this current trend. Thank you for all ur hard work as always. Peace n luv💜
PLEASE do a current skin care routine vid, or favorites, or whatever will explain why your skin is so amazing -- as seen in this video and your bare-naked-faced livestream of a few mornings ago. PLLLLLZZZZZ! Your devoted subscribers deserve to know!!! :-)
@@cpallas4411 Thank you, just watched it! I still have to wonder if some retinoid or drunken elephant have snuck in there, and what she would say of her recently regularly used things it might be that has made a noticeable difference. For all we know maybe she has been using a light emitting gadget or had a fraxel or clear & brilliant... I don't recall noticing in the past that she is a walking talking baby's butt, and she sure is now. Also curious if any supplement or diet changes... I hope she will clarify soon what her complete routine is including prescriptions, supplements, diet, outside procedures, masks, and high end skin stuff.
I was looking for a stick foundation today, ran out of the sephora one ($20) and I thought about buying the abh one, but decided to try the maybelline fit me shine free foundation instead. Thank you for posting this video!! Saved me some money ☺️
I will never comprehend how someone looked at a pinstriping tool... Which is meant to draw very small fine lines, but very straight lines... And thought that would be a good tool to emulate to put liner on curved eyeballs. I just never got that.
I love the peach glow palette. You are correct that the pigment is low-it is made for people who want a “no makeup” look. It’s just to give you the glowing face. Too bad. It’s my favorite daily makeup.
@@LEYLA90 Me either!! I sometimes do a super subtle "gentle" highlight but I think the whole "glowing from mars" or whatever doesnt look good. But this is just my opinion & that's what makes makeup so fun 🙃
Janelle 09 i know !! You should try dewy mists I’m currently using the too faced unicorn one and it gives you such a nice pink glowy glow lmao it’s beautiful. I let it dry and your skin looks amazing and glowy. I agree with you I think the blinding highlighters are mostly for drag, but everyone just does it that it looks so fake and I just can’t get behind it.
@@LEYLA90 my thoughts exactly! My sister in law is here visiting & shes really into makeup & we were waiting on her to finish getting ready so we could go out to the waterfall near our house & do a short hike with our kids (the fact she wanted a full beat for this is another story 😜) & anyway, she comes downstairs & looked beautiful but when she turned her head, I saw a white strip of metallic and I thought Noooo 😫 most just dont blend into the skin & look like a natural glow. I have the Milani dewy mist & I love the way it looks as long as I use a sponge after otherwise it kind of makes me look oily but it burns the crap out of my eyes for some reason so I have been wanting to try a different kind. I've always heard great things about the Catrice dewy mist, have you tried that one? Too Faced is my favorite high end brand 💜
I absolutely adore your makeup look in this video: glam and natural at the same time! I may try it myself! By the way, great video! It's good to know what to avoid so that I don't waste money! I have the Colourpop Eyebrow Pencil you mentioned and you were so right about how bad it was.
I loved your reaction to the silicone applicator! i bought a set because literally everyone was buying one. I thought it was a good idea in theory but not application. I use mine to dot my foundation on because I can control how much I want to use then I go in with a beauty blender. I also use it for mixing my foundation, I didn't find the need to go buy a plate specially for that when I had the silicone applicator sitting in my drawer haha
Aww I actually like the Too Faced Peach Highlight pallette! Its actually my go to for a quick makeup look. If I want something more bold Id use something else..but I am more tan and the blush and highlight work awesome on my skin 🤷♀️❤
I gave away my smashbox full exposure palette after using it few times. Back in the day it was a pretty hyped up palette as far as I can remember and I don't get why. I didn't like the shadows at all, haven't tried smashbox eyeshadow since.... their formula is very dry and hardly pigmented.
fallenangel4290 I agree! It is my absolute favorite! As long as you don’t click it a ton it works fantastically! I have cried or swam in it and it does not move! I just bought 3 more because I think they are discontinuing it😭😭😭
I still use the Benefit Push-up Liner. Basically, you need to melt the gel either in a heating pad or a hot car. You may need to pinch out the gel from the bulging rubber applicator. After that, it’s like a high quality potted gel liner but with a better applicator. Prepare for the next use by clicking the dial up a few times. It’s a lot of work, but it’s almost waterproof and doesn’t flake. The application lasts a long time. The Benefit Push-up Mascara is another story. It gave me thin, spidery lashes when I normally have slightly full lashes. It makes me look like an older child drew eyelashes on me.
Jen, love you in this video. Fun! Totally vibing with this one! The content is great, for sure, but the reason I like it is because it really brings out your personality.
MommaShawna true! But then again there are a lot of makeup brands that you don’t hear anything about. Or they aren’t spoken about because they aren’t popular anymore. Such as Mary Kay and Avon. So, unless you try it, you never know! But maybe one day PUR will put out a great makeup product! You never know! But that’s also what subscription boxes are for, to try new things! We will see!
You're right! I never liked the Amore Matte Lip Creams. The colors were beautiful, but they were too dry on the lips. Do you remember the Rimmel concealer/highlighter that came in a tube and the product came out of the attached brush? Those did not work for me. The brush was too rough on my skin and I didn't like how it looked. It did not conceal anything.
Why would anyone be mad because you don't happen to like a particular product? I'd like to think that wouldn't be the case but I actually would not be surprised. Your channel, your opinions and people need to respect that so please don't apologize to anyone and certainly not to the brands for your honesty.
I love this new style of series!! The pizza cutter liner was the worst! What do you think about the Makeup Drop? It’s a sponge, with a silicone front to it. I’d never heard of it before.
What should we use the silicone sponges for? I bought some due to the satisfying texture sensation of my finger and how cute they look. Like how someone tested brushes on their hands to see if it feels okay. I agree they do not work for foundation.
That’s why I stopped buying urban decay shadows back in like 2009 because of the fall out, purchased the vice palette a few years ago and the same thing.
Im late to watch but love watching your videos. Going back to watch older videos. I must say you are so gorgeous. You always look so beautiful and have a natural glow that looks perfect every video. Youre naturally beautiful so makeup just enhances your already beautiful self. Thanks for sharing💜💜💜
Thank you Jen! I’m not a fan of the Monsieur Big mascara! I was really excited to try it, but my eyes started to water as soon as I put them on and actually started to itch. The only other mascara I’ve ever had a problem with that I can remember doing that was... the original Maybelline mascara in the pink tube! Disappointed in both:(.
City kit pink edge is amazing for me! Feels and and performs like high end.....maybe a different batch? Thanks for your honesty!
Jen you look radiant! I would love to know what products you used for this video!
I regret my too face holiday set too. I never reached for the shadows and when I tried to depot them they broke and the pans were soft and bent, some stuck to magnets others didn’t.
I’m very fair and have red hair and the too faced peach face palette works well for me!
Lanie Woods same girl. I’m naturally blonde but dye my hair red. My skin isn’t even that fair though but I just think it looks good with red hair
The new colorpop eye pencils are AMAZING I’ve gone through at least three within the past two months they’re AWESOME. Super precise and really easy to get some good coverage on them. I love it.
I SEE THAT BAILEY SARIAN MERCH!!! I love her so so so much.
She makes Monday's pretty awesome 😎
Terrible products I’ve tried:
-Hard Candy Eye primer
-Baby skin pore primer
-elf foundation
RUclips Trash Maybelline eyeshadows 😬
I didn't try UD moondust powder shadow, but oh boi, I do have two moondust liquid eyeshadows. Other is so-so, but the other! It crumbles off before even finishing applying it and it shrinks and burns eyelids.
Your skin is looking so fresh! This video was really helpful.
Hi Jen, you give beauties priceless info! There is too many claiming to be the best. Beauty scammers are making a buttload of $$ during this current trend. Thank you for all ur hard work as always. Peace n luv💜
You should try the tartelette in bloom palate! I’ve gone through so many so easy to work with and love the colors
PLEASE do a current skin care routine vid, or favorites, or whatever will explain why your skin is so amazing -- as seen in this video and your bare-naked-faced livestream of a few mornings ago. PLLLLLZZZZZ! Your devoted subscribers deserve to know!!! :-)
She just made one! :) Its called drugstore skin care routine.
Love this video. Glad you added drugstore makeup for those of us on a budget.
I love Bailey Sarian, love her personality and her content. I love the fact that you are supporting her ❤
The nyx lip lingerie liquid lipsticks are my all time faves
Mine too
The Colourpop Brow Boss pencil is awesome now! I love it so much. It has a very precise tip and the formula is good IMO.
I will never comprehend how someone looked at a pinstriping tool... Which is meant to draw very small fine lines, but very straight lines... And thought that would be a good tool to emulate to put liner on curved eyeballs. I just never got that.
Haha I know it's crazy logic 🤣
I love that you’re a Bailey Sarian fan ♥️♥️ She is SUCH a gift ♥️♥️
PS Your makeup looks FABULOUS!!
I love the peach glow palette. You are correct that the pigment is low-it is made for people who want a “no makeup” look. It’s just to give you the glowing face.
Too bad. It’s my favorite daily makeup.
Yesss I think it's nice since not everyone wants harsh lines. I love pretty much all I've tried from them
I love soft makeup too!! and i love the natural look and glowy too. I just can’t get behind the line of highlighter and crazy colors on the eye.
Wonderful energy Jen. Your skin looks stunning
Loving the Bailey Sarian tee❤️🤘🏻
Yesss me too! She makes Monday's better haha
You look gorgeous in this video. The highlighter is pure glass 😍 And I love the eye makeup, and the lashes, and the brows!
Aww I actually like the Too Faced Peach Highlight pallette! Its actually my go to for a quick makeup look. If I want something more bold Id use something else..but I am more tan and the blush and highlight work awesome on my skin 🤷♀️❤
Same here!I love it and although I am tanned it still shows up beautifully!
I love that Too Faced highlighting palette. I get so many compliments wearing it. I can understand if it does not go with your coloring.
The NYX Lip Lingerie was really drying on me too, and it was really sticky. I always struggled to take it off at the end of the day too😒
slgee use vasiline or oilive oil on ur lips to take it of
@@TestYourMorality I will have to try if I use this liquid lip again. Thank you!
I gave away my smashbox full exposure palette after using it few times. Back in the day it was a pretty hyped up palette as far as I can remember and I don't get why. I didn't like the shadows at all, haven't tried smashbox eyeshadow since.... their formula is very dry and hardly pigmented.
I actually love the benefit push up liner. You have to keep the little orange plug to keep it from drying out.
fallenangel4290 I agree! It is my absolute favorite! As long as you don’t click it a ton it works fantastically! I have cried or swam in it and it does not move! I just bought 3 more because I think they are discontinuing it😭😭😭
@@thesugarqueennc1078 oh no I better get my butt to ulta and stock up!!!
I do love these videos! How about 20 products you want to try from 20 different brands!
Brandi Wagner that’s a good idea
Great idea!!
Jen, love you in this video. Fun! Totally vibing with this one! The content is great, for sure, but the reason I like it is because it really brings out your personality.
Because of the PUR items we have received in BoxyCharm, I have never bought anything from them.
MommaShawna fair! They’re ok! Not something I’d pay money on though!
Kieorasama exactly! You never hear OMGOSH best thing ever from PUR.
Curious if you’ve tried the NYX lip oil! I love it. Might be called slip tease?
Slippy? Slippy? Did a little Pittsburghese ooze into Maryland? 😂😂😂😂 It's all good, neighbor!
Definitely sounded like Pittsburgh!!! Hey neighbor!!
@@jht3fougifh393 lol. Definitely!!!
What's your lip combo please?? Looks lovely
That Nars Audacious wand was a WEAPON for your lash roots! Spikey aggressive beyond belief!!
I tried a sample of that mascara and I thought I actually scratched my eyeball! It was so painful I ended up crying my eyeshadow completely off T_T
I love this new style of series!! The pizza cutter liner was the worst! What do you think about the Makeup Drop? It’s a sponge, with a silicone front to it. I’d never heard of it before.
I was actually shopping for Nudestix while watching this. Your opinion was very helpful.
I’m packing for a cruise and these seem perfect!
The abh stick foundation us my go-to contour stick; I love it
I second that!! Love it
I love the moondust shadows. I apply it with a glitter primer and they work fine. Any glitter will have a little fallout.
Cortney M me too one of my faves x
Tarte shape tape 😤😤!, the worst foundation ever!,, I didn’t throw it away because it remembers me to watch reviews before I buy a new one ☝️🤦🏻♀️🙄!!!
Hope you’ll keep doing these videos, as they are something different and enjoyable! I’m glad other RUclipsrs are following your lead and doing them.:)
