Great addition of the side skirts. I'm a big fan of the shiny CF, not so much of the mat finish. I have "cheated" in the past on some small mat finish items in that I shot them with several coats of clear which definitely helped. A front splitter is now a definite must have. Tell Rich Corvettes at Carlisle will be here in 8 months, he might just find those rear support mud flaps there. Save the Wave guys.🙋♂️
A C7? Where did you ever get that idea Scott?😉 I hate you guys with Elephant🐘memories. 😊 Now don't get ideas, but only just today did I purchase a brand new set of C7 ZO6 silver wheels with cup two tires. Okay, I can see 👀 your eyes lighting up 💡, but keep in mind they will also fit my C6 GS. Hmmmm, ❓
Peter Carey Somethings fishy here...I can smell it. Wait, that’s my dinner. How will you make a grand reveal of the carriage for which these wheels are attached?
@@Team512 I haven't quite thought that one out yet. But rest easy, your King of The Corvetteers will be wearing his Royal Crown and be in full Royal Garb.
Needs the back guards on, see if he can find some different ones online. MY Experience on tons I've installed rivets will last longer and stronger instead of screws.
no mud flaps for me but I love some side skirts, one day ill catch up to maintenance on mine and be able to do some pretty. kinda hard to justify pretty when ya windows don't go up and down......
@@Team512 no, easy enough just have to be careful with torque on nuts it's all fiberglass in there. And pull the window lock button pad from the top side... I did break that. I must also concede the exhaust battle for now.... Need better audio......
I have a triple black c6 corvette and I ordered a set of ABS black plastic side skirts with the rear back splash guard. Can I fiber wrap these parts? If not I’m gonna have my buddy paint them. Any suggestions? Tips?
Getting them wrapped is a great idea! Just make sure the surface is prepped (clean) and you should be good to go. They shouldn't be too difficult to wrap. There's not many complex corners and angles. You will need to buy a roll long enough for full coverage so you don't have any seams. Good luck! Have fun! Going to look great on a black C6.
That car needs upgraded wheels. The side skirt and spoiler give a new look introducing a sportier aggressive look. Stock wheels don’t really go with that theme
Looks good to me, good job. However and I know you can't see them but why didn't you use black screws? It just seems more finished that way. But I am anal!
What do you guys think? Would you add side skirts to your Corvette? Would you have installed the non-matching splash guards?
Look nice and it's a shame they didn't fit right, but bc of that it's a good thing you didn't put them on.
YellowVette04 Yeah was a bummer they didn’t fit or match. But the side skirts look pretty good without them.

8 months to Carlisle! Can’t wait! A front splitter is an absolute must at this point. How’s the C7 shopping going?

Another quality video from the Team 512 garage!!! Love how they look!!! Thanks Scott!!!
Yeah buddy! When’s the front splitter coming?
Looking good Rich! Nice job on that install. Now I know where to go if I ever get the side shirts from C7 Carbon
Yeah. Now he needs the matching front lip spoiler!
Looks great. Not sure why they sent dry carbon to match gloss. It didn't look good anyway. Looks better like this.Well done.
Yeah we were thinking the same. Looks great even without it.
I've got some 2009. Competition grey wheels in excellent condition that would look good on that car!!
Tbone Wheels are on the my list.
Ghost C6 oops I sold them with the car but have painted silver 2009 wheels in excellent condition hit me up if you want some pics
Very nice upgrade.
Yes indeed. And an easy install too. He now needs a matching front splitter for sure.
Nice man! I need it in my life asap!! I love the white too!
They would look so good on your car. 👍
Looks good! I haven't seen a car that looks worse with more carbon fiber, though...
Yeah I have to agree with that point. Gloss carbon weave looks good pretty much anywhere!
Nice job guys. Loved the outtro Lol.
😉👍
Thanks man! 👍
I miss the Rabbit Hat 😢
😂 It was napping...

You need to replace the window regulators?
@@Team512 yes, both unfortunately. I replaced the pass with a cheap Amazon one, it went up and down at least 20 times before it locked up.
cole mcmeans What a bummer. Was it difficult to replace?

IF you decide to paint them, Carbon Flash Metallic might look good.
Team 512 thanks a million!
👍
Looks sweet man!!
Thanks!
What's up rich
Justin Tavella Justin!!!! Gotta come out to the Burbs!!
thanks bro!
Wanna help swap out my master cylinder, and will do the lighting in the garage.
Clutch master cylinder? Sure. That’s a fun job. Just buy the one you want. DM on IG for more details.

Agreed. I believe he’s since upgraded the wheels.
How does it sound
👍
Cheap skirts. The good ones mount beneath
What happen to your channel. U haven’t posted anything
That shit will fall off. The good ones mount beneath with rivets
Mmm pizza

Black would have looked much more finished. We used the hardware that was provided in the kit.
