What an incredible experience! My girlfriend and I attend several Christmas home tours (just outside Toronto, Ontario), and have for years and years now, it’s such a delight. I laughed out loud when you told the couple that had 7 Christmas trees " you got bit by the bug" because a man that knows nothing about you in our neighborhood comes and takes photos of my home and also patio area to send to his friends and family. He said he told them " look at what this crazy Christmas lady made". I laughed so hard and said"If only you knew what a compliment that is".

-central Wisconsin: Wow, you put my Christmas Open House to shame, but I’m so happy for you that you did this. I had done a Christmas Open House for three years. It had became a tradition for family and friends to stop by on a Saturday, wether they were out shopping, or just needed to get out of the house. I would have it for an entire Saturday afternoon. Anyway, but then I came down with chronic Lyme disease, and for the past three years it has not happened, nor have I decorated. The kids are grown and live in different states, it’s just me here at home now. Do I miss it? Yes! Am I thankful I’m not doing it currently? Yes, but only because I just don’t have the energy, and because of this condition, I have not worked for the past 2 years either. So, I appreciate very much seeing your video today, and seeing someone else open their home for a day, for people to just stop in. Sadly, people just don’t do this anymore, and people don’t generally just stop by either to visit briefly. I find that sad. Anyway, thank you for doing this, and for sharing it with us too.

What a wonderful event Rebecca! Everybody had such agreat time. I hosted a Christmas Events for two years running, touring our Historic home. For 150 guests each Time, 3 sitting, 1 hour time slots. We did an English tea in the 1,100 sft Ballroom. It was a lot of work, but just so much fun ! I've been following you for years, I'm so inspired by everything that you do. Thankyou.

-central Wisconsin: Wow, you put my Christmas Open House to shame, but I’m so happy for you that you did this.
I had done a Christmas Open House for three years. It had became a tradition for family and friends to stop by on a Saturday, wether they were out shopping, or just needed to get out of the house. I would have it for an entire Saturday afternoon.
Anyway, but then I came down with chronic Lyme disease, and for the past three years it has not happened, nor have I decorated. The kids are grown and live in different states, it’s just me here at home now. Do I miss it? Yes! Am I thankful I’m not doing it currently? Yes, but only because I just don’t have the energy, and because of this condition, I have not worked for the past 2 years either.
So, I appreciate very much seeing your video today, and seeing someone else open their home for a day, for people to just stop in. Sadly, people just don’t do this anymore, and people don’t generally just stop by either to visit briefly. I find that sad. Anyway, thank you for doing this, and for sharing it with us too.

I hosted a Christmas Events for two years running, touring our Historic home.
For 150 guests each
Time, 3 sitting, 1 hour time slots.
We did an English tea in the 1,100 sft Ballroom.
It was a lot of work, but just so much fun !
I've been following you for years, I'm so inspired by everything that you do.
