Sweden made one huge mistake by letting a limitless numbers of immigrants into the country in 2015-16.
They were busy telling the danes how they made a huge mistake by only letting a very limited amount of refugees into Denmark, and then just opening the swedish borders to anyone who came that way.
The result is that in total Sweden is the place outside a warzone with the highest numbers of gunrelated casualties in the World! A far distance from the Sweden we all grew up to in the 70’s and 80’s.
Despite that, I would love to move to Sweden, but obviously Malmö, Göteborg and Stockholm for a start will be erased from the “place to live” -list. Because, despite all the negative, Sweden is a fantastic place to live and a paradise for families with children.

I have visited Sweden a couple of times over the years. Its a great country, but the Swedes are not the friendliest people on earth.... It takes time to get to know them when they do talk to you, they love their privacy... I have travelled most of Europe, and made some friends with the locals, byt Sweden is one country I was unable to make friends with anyone, they hardly spoke to me. Scandinavians are a bit stand offish...

I was living in Stockholm for 16 months. I am from Ukraine, but Sweden looked really as a paradise for me, so i was not focused on the probable lack of entertainments. I agree that Swedes are great looking. I like very much their golden white skin color. A tall Swedish lady in a stretchy miniskirt makes a really great impression) Swedish girls have healthy natural appearance, beautiful correct faces with little use of cosmetics and nicely figured bodies with slim long legs. I would say, they are now even more beautiful than 25 years ago

In fact, I think the Swedes threw an artist in jail for six months because somebody in the Swedish government didn't like his artwork and found it offensive. That would never have happened in Australia, New Zealand, or the USA. Anyway, I have traveled extensively in Sweden and I have met many Swedes outside of Sweden who are very critical of their government. Some Swedes have even told me they were afraid to voice their disapproval of Sweden's immigration policies while in Sweden. Conclusion: Sweden is decadent and in decline.

I strongly disagree upon the historical claim(s) that Swedish military personnel have not been involved in a foreign war since Year 1814. I do remember saying something highly similar to a younger sailor working for the Royal Swedish Navy. I visited Stockholm years ago and was struck by the beauty of the coast - an archipeligo of hundreds of stoney islands - many that had summer houses .I was told that wealthy Stockholmers would often spend the weekend in these.

Well said, oxygen ratios actually decrease the closer you get to the poles, and also strongly decrease with altitudes. The air being much cooler, cleaner, and fresher because of generally higher winds, gives it the feeling that the oxygen content is higher. In Iceland breathing the air is like breathing champagne. There are a number of mitigating factors in determining air quality and oxygen ratios.

Perhaps those so-called democratic and liberal European countries like Sweden should look at the governments of the oil-rich Arab Gulf countries and learn a thing or two about how to protect their countries and keep them for themselves. People can go and work in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain for decades and when their work visas are up, they have to LEAVE the country no matter how accustomed they have become to living there and no matter whether their children can or cannot speak their language or whether they know or do not know their culture. That is NO EXCUSE for those governments and they will never give their citizenship to any foreigners no matter what their personal circumstances. Unlike those European countries which worry about the children of the immigrants not knowing their parents' languages and culture and giving every Tom, Dick, and Harry the citizenship because of it, the Arab countries argue that the parents should have sent their children to the Indian, Pakistani, or Filipino community schools and if they have not done so that is THEIR problem. They do not give a hoot for those children whose parents have not done so and they still have to leave. Their lack of knowledge of their parents' language and culture is NO EXCUSE and it is the least of the worries of those governments. Therefore, unlike those stupid and democratic European countries, those intelligent, conservative and dictatorial Arab countries hold on to their countries and do NOT give them away to foreigners on a silver platter. Perhaps those "intelligent" and democratic European countries who are BITTERLY COMPLAINING about the immigration situation in their countries now can follow the example of those Arab countries and preserve what is left of their European culture and their European gene pool (provided it is not too late already). There's too much information here that is not entirely correct, the good parts about Sweden you are describing is what it used to be, it's been going downhill a lot for the last 25~ years.
yes the tap water is in general perfectly safe to drink, there have been a couple of times where a lot of people would be unable to drink the tap water due to pipes breaking or such making it contaminated and sometimes it takes a while for it to be noticed so people drink bad water, then there is some contaminate substances in the well waters that some still use for their daily water, the water might be clean going in the fountain, but it is not drinkable as the fountains are not kept clean for drinking.
yeah we have a low population density overall but our population is centered around some cities, and there it is pretty dense, most people don't live a couple of hours drive out in the forest.
Our economy is pretty bad, even food that is among the least taxed have gotten a lot more expensive...
currently we have to very few affordable houses and apartments that young people can buy, and the idiots in our government sold the state owned apartments, that were affordable to rent for young people during 90s. ( i believe it was the end of the 90s )
then there is the job market... Jobs that don't require high education are hard to get due to high competition with the large population of new immigrants that either lacks education entirely or in a lot of cases, lacks the necessary certifications for the professions they studied for and used to work with before coming here, as not all educations are seen as adequate enough for employment.
E.g. medical training in some countries would not be valid in Sweden until you have.
1) learned enough Swedish to be proficient enough to communicate with patients.
2) pass tests to show that your medical knowledge is proficient to avoid dangerous medical complication.
This drives down the wages as well as makes them more stagnate.. And this makes it really hard for the young people to get a livable income until they can find a job within their field of study, but this does not guarantee a good payday...
This is true not only for native swedes but is also true for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation immigrants that grew up here as well, also they tend to suffer more from the massive immigration the last 2~ decades, as most of those that came here during the 60s-90s, have mostly integrated pretty well into society, gotten an education learned the language and so on, they now get stuck living in the same areas as the new generation, a lot of the new immigrants that came are ungrateful cunts that turn to crime and don't want to work at all, they just want special treatment as their IQ is so low they think they are some kind of royalty...
Sadly this causes a lot of people to start disliking and some even hating immigrants, these feelings then bleed over to the groups of immigrants that came before, those that did it right and worked for it, it is a real shame that those that did not demand special treatment or cry and scream racist to any one not bending the knee to their ridicules demands, gets grouped up with those pampered and spoiled "adult" children.. Because, these new generation of immigrants, rape and crime rates Increased a lot, due to pretty much insanely high number of people coming here over such a short time, with a view on society that is so bad and wildly different from us native swedes and previous generation of immigrants...
adding to that problem the government also failed massively to integrate these new immigrants into the Swedish society, reducing the chance of harmonious co existence even more... causing more rifts between the new immigrants and older generation immigrants as well as the native swedes, which have in turn, causes even more of the new immigrants, then those that might have done it anyways if integration had been done properly... To turn to crime as a source of income, as they don't see being a law abiding and hard working as a good way of life when crimes are easier and more rewarding without any real consequents... as the punishment for these crimes are way to low to work as deterrence, as they don't care for the negative social stigma that comes with it, not the same way the rest of us would, making it harder to rehabilitate these criminals when they see the time served more of a badge of honor among their peers, then as a mark of shame that most others would.
we have not only had increasing problems with petty crimes, robbery and rape.... The gang violence/shootings over the illegale drug trade has increased a lot as well, killing innocent people that just happens to be in wrong/same place as whoever was the target of these new generations of criminals... they have zero respect for regular people that have done nothing to them... We as all society's, have had criminals way before immigration became a problem, but the old generation criminals still had some sense of honor and code of conduct, they did not just shoot into crowds just to get one person that had done something against them or sometimes just looks a bit like that person and they shoot before even checking if it is the same person...
They used to handled their business amongst them self without involving unrelated and innocent people, that is part of the reason why Sweden was so safe before... as even though the criminals were on the wrong side of the law they still had some common sense so to speak
there is still some hope that we can get back on track but yeah... it will take a long time and a lot of work to even make it as good as it was, better then that? not sure if it ever will be possible

I'm currently married to one of these Swedes and I can tell you from experience they look a good look and talk a sweet talk but there's something there that just ain't right. They said it's something to do with that king that made them seals of sort. Too much water and not enough heat.
