Morph appeared in the pilot episode Night of the Sentinels and gets hurt badly by The Sentinels after saving Wolverine. His arc gets interesting with Mr. Sinister when Morphs mind is manipulated by him by luring the X-Men to a trap during the whole Savage Land storyline.

I don''t really remember where they left off his story in the original show, I know he "died" initially and everyone was broken up about that, but Mr Sinister brought him back and turned him evil, and I don't remember what happened after that, they probably saved him and made him good again by the end.
He came back thanks to Mr sinister but morph was evil but he also started to fight that side of his personality thanks to Moira mactaggert .. eventually wolvie took him on a mission that morph had to face a sentinel he fought those demons of the past .. and came back for that last episode to replace Charles to get magneto to call llilandra and amplify charles powers with those psychic connection they have

Growing up in the 90s, I loved watching three animated series that are still my favorite to this day, Batman, Spider-Man, and X-Men. I feel like a kid again from watching the X-Men 97 trailer. This looks amazing!!! I was not a fan of the final episode. So I’m happy we’re getting a continuation of this series. Marvel needs to also continue the original Spider-Man series. The series ended with Spider-Man and Madame Web traveling through the multiverse to find the real Mary Jane.

Well we kinda got that in TAS. It was a 2part episode called *ONE MAN'S WORTH* whr the Sentinels in the future sent a mutant into the 50s to assassinate Xavier b4 he became leader of the Xmen! Just watched it 2 days ago and it incorporated AOA themes in it. Awesome.stuff
I'm honestly surprised how much work I got done today, while also watching this trailer as many times as I could. And I was in an office, too. I checked and there's only about 70 episodes in the original run. That's easily bingeable, so I know what I'll be doing before March 20. Morph has an interesting history in the comics. The character was originally called Changeling and was killed off very early in the comics. They brought him back in the animated series but called him Morph because of copyright reasons. Due to his popularity there, they brought him back in the comics as an AU version via AoA and Exiles with an updated look. Now it seems they’ve brought that updated look back to the cartoon.

The 90s series isn't the 'original' the original was made in the 60s and there were several Spider-Man cartoons in the 80s
Professor and Magento still were friends and had mutal respect. In the comics Magento toom over.
Although I loved the 90's X-Men I have to agree, the last season was terribly animated and the story was meh at best.
