In my opinion, the really only “unlucky” girl here is Janine Tugonon, she really is the real Miss Universe 2012, and I’m not being biased here just because I am a Filipina, many people agree!
I think they just love and support a little too much to their girls, it's not that I'm judging them but I think not every Pilipino fans are bad, some of them are actually quite nice and down to earth. But I must say I had some nasty comments from some of them toward me before, like when I just gave my thought about a representative from Philippines lots of fans bashed me for being bitter or stupid, some even called me Viet Cong as well. But believe it or not I still have some respect to them because they just rooting so much for their girls as well as we are so let's just put it in that thin line

2016 Venezula (Mariam Habach) honestly, her body looks great, but her attitude just wasn’t cutting it. She’s been shown to have a bad attitude towards other contestants. Looks can only get you so far in a competition where you’re looking for the most beautiful girl in the world. And unfortunately in the preliminary competition... girl, that hair. In my opinion, it made her look older than she was. I’m stunned from her beauty when her hair is straighter and/or pulled back. It just didn’t fit her.

Yes I believe being an International Ambassador a prerequisite for speaking Enlish, you should be able to speak the language after becoming Miss Universe,,, I believe that was a crucial part of Miss Phillilines losing the title,,, because of the answer she gave. Miss Venezuela deserved what happened to her. Miss Universe Organization looks for women they would be able to work with, and it's difficult to work with arrogant, rude, impolite, stuck up people like Miss Venezuela. The winner must be sweet and personable.

The reason why Philippines didn't won its because of her dress they think that the fabric is cheap and its so unfair and another reason is that the crown didn't match her gown.
