Super helpful stuff. Im troubleshooting a machine now with k7000.my issues may be more tube related, but tons and tons of useful tips in these videos. Much appreciated!
Thanks as always Mike, this was a different one but GREAT to show, you can RLY chase your tail when things are bad but test good. I love the K7000 vids, got me into this whole thing, I am the type that would gladly watch all but I def get why you don't record everything. Very cool vid tho, appreciate the time and upload as always! :)
love the videos. awesome channel. but I realize I am now out of my depth here... How can I get more info on your repair services? Have a K7000 with no B+ and I cannot get it figured out.
Hello. Your videos are greatly appreciated. Looking to figure out were to purchace the b+ regulator for a k7000 P447A. I can not seem to find a replacement part online. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for watching. Depends on if you have the tall skinny one or the wide, fat one. But here you go…www.arcadepartsandrepair.com/store/integrated-circuits/voltage-regulators-integrated-circuits/str30123/ www.arcadepartsandrepair.com/store/integrated-circuits/voltage-regulators-integrated-circuits/str3123/
I noticed there's a black horizontal line across the top at first, plus a little bit of wave. It's interesting that changing the voltage regulator fixed this. I wonder if it's a symptom of unstable voltage or the fact that the vertical height pot had to be up higher before. I've seen this black line before and also seen others post about it with no good solution.
Could be, but I’d suspect it to be more of an issue of using the TPG. It causes issues like that sometimes. That’s why I like to use real PCBs for testing.
#1 Arcade repair channel in the world.
