Ahhh it’s so cool how you can have a lunch break like that. I was literally picturing you guys sitting on the side of the road eating sandwiches and then you went in the camper. Amazing! What a view. What blessing! Great job!
If your going to be towing like that often you can get a Tank/toolbox combo that holds 40 gallons rated for gasoline. I have one in my older 2500hd and its nice to be able to find a gas station that i can get a 40' gooseneck in and out.
Absolutely! I didn’t find out about those toolbox tanks until after I had bought the reserve tank, Just my luck lol. I do think I’ll invest in one eventually as the reserve tank ages. Thanks for watching!!!
@ourrvtracks sure thing! Wyoming and Montana are very nice places to visit. I use a WIFI programmable timer to control a small fuel pump. I set a on time and a off time that I figured out would keep up with 10mpg. It took awhile to get it just right. Short amount of on time would keep the EVAP system happy and rear tank would be empty about the time the low fuel light turned on. Tank is made by DeeZee I think it is. It holds 43 gallons and my main tank holds 26 gallons. So can comfortably go 500 miles towing heavy and have a reserve.
I’ve not had any issues pulling! I have the 4:10 rear ratio and it’s a 2015 hemi 6.4. My camper all in weighs around 11,000-12,000 fully loaded and our trucks handles it great, even through the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains. We have been very happy With performance
Wyoming is so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing Yellowstone.
Clouds are amazing! Nothing like it
The views out here are amazing!! Thanks for watching!!!

Wyoming is awesome!! We loved the towns and parks we visited there, definitely one of the top states we have been to on our trip West this year!
Cool tank. How does your truck handle pulling your 5th. Have you had the lifter issue yet? Which axel ratio do you have and what year?
