I’m going to be extra patient and watch the commercials all the way through on June 24, as a thank you to Laura and Aaron. Perhaps many of you do that anyway…I tend to hit “skip” at first opportunity (sorry guys!)
It's good to have reliable research. Some folks don't trust science, but for me, actually getting the facts is important: www.epa.gov/chemical-research/federal-research-recycled-tire-crumb-used-playing-fields-and-playgrounds
Aw, when Bev didn't come around in the one video, I wondered what was up. Sad to hear she died. She was so friendly and the only one from your original flock.
Personally I like the dirty hands and face at the end of a planting day,,, thats how i know you all leave most things in... Laura looking into the camera with a big smile on her dirt streaked face (not alot, just enough to know you have been working) thanking us for watching,,,,,,,makes my day everytime...... Thank you both
My husband says, if you can't pee in your yard, the neighbors are too close! So sad to hear about Beverly. I liked how she was so friendly, (or was it pushy 😊), about getting special treats.
I have been watching your channel for 8 years and enjoy my morning coffee with you! I love my flower beds and have learned so much from watching your videos!! You have such a wonderful family and I enjoy your shopping trips with your mom! Looking forward to watching many more years 🥰
First off I love all your videos! I wanted to comment on the cage and burlap of planting trees. I have a landscaper that helps me in my yard from time to time. Last year I bought a smoke bush that was a B&B. It was a good size tree. It took three men to get it in my suv. They kept telling me it was not going to fit. I told them I was not leaving without it, I had been looking for two years to finally find it. When I got home my landscaper and I got it out of the suv and placed it where I wanted it. After digging the hole and adding in the bio tone he rolled the tree into the hole. I told him we needed to remove the cage. He told me that he and George who is my best friends husband that owns a landscaping business, never removed the burlap or cage from trees that they planted. I told him that we were going to remove the cage and burlap and see how it does that I don’t have the money that some of their clients had to replace trees every year when they die. This year he has been to my house and saw my tree and how well my tree is doing and he told me that he planted one for a customer and it died that he did not remove the cage or the burlap. I told him that I had seen one of your videos where your tree fell over and the cage was still on it and that’s what made me decide that any time I have a B&B tree that the cage and burlap was coming off unless the roots had grown through the burlap. I have learned so much about gardening from your videos. You are a blessing to all home gardeners. Keep up the good work.
Thirty seven years ago we built our home and decided to put our laundry on the second floor. It was a great decision even though the blueprints had the laundry on the first floor. My husband is a builder and put the washer and dryer in an over sized closet on the hallway. The machines are side by side behind louvre doors. Has saved me so many steps over the years.
How in the world did that lady know Bev had passed away. Kudos to her very observant. Wow. Love all the projects on the recap video. Fantastic week. Thanks again for sharing this with us. Appreciated. 💯💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Good morning everyone ! So impressed with Bethany rehoming all the cast off plants...I do that as well...if its alive I cant toss it....I really enjoy sharing plants with fellow gardeners.
10 year anniversary--Go to each garden area and show us a flashback from the beginning! Congratulations to GA! Certainly has been a life changer for me!
Laura!!! When you do the house remodel…absolutely put your laundry room upstairs. We built our home in 1978 and I have an upstairs laundry room. It is the best decision we made in that build. I am now 74 with a bum knee and am so very grateful for that wonderful space!
And Ten years later, here you are, and we are THANKFUL! Here in IL we are warm, and in the midst of all the plant openings and planting like mad. This week...parking lot sales, arboretum sale and market, and a neighborhood plant swap! Whew, now I need to get them in the ground.
Just wanted to say a big thank you for all the videos over the years, as l live in England the videos usually show around lunch time. I come in from the garden for a light lunch and call it lunch with Laura and possibly Monica and Susan when they go Antiquing with you. Loved seeing Monica's garden take shape and your Mum's house development and renovation. Not forgetting Aaron, Benjamin and Samantha Grace and your right arms Paul and Bethany. Any extra plants or seedlings go to a friend of mine who sells for the food bank. Thank you again.
Looks like Laura’s tincture mix is working for her memory🤣 as she quickly remembered the ground covers she planted earlier in the week. OMG, I didn’t know we lost Bev, RIP Bev. On a happy note, I absolutely love just how real your videos are and how fun the editing turns out. Happy Gardening Week!!
I have been watching your videos for quite a while now. I love them all they teach so much garden info. You & Aaron continue doing what you do it's all beautiful ideas. Watching The little gardening kids is so rewarding. Bethany sounds like a wonderful person you are so lucky to have her & Paul. So keep on filming the whole world enjoys your videos. Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Laura and Aaron, writing to say I received your kneeling pad, (love it), curved pocket knife, FELCO snips, and saw. Love them and very glad you offered them in your store. Thank you for carefully packaging everything. All arrived in perfect condition. I watch your videos every day since I found your channel last year. 😊
I’ve been following you since you were in the Townhouse, and can’t thank you enough for sharing all that you do! I’ve learned TONS from you and always look forward to your video’s in the morning! May God continue to bless you in all you do!♥️✝️🙌🌱☀️👍🏻
I’m so sorry about Bev😢. Fly high sweet girl, I hope there’s tons of mealy bugs for you❤️. Tears then laughs about the pee bush!🤣🤣. It’s not fair🤣, men & boys are lucky🤣🤣
10 years, wow! You guys grew so much in the ease of being in front of the camera it's amazing to see not only Laura but Aaron too! Bravo! I remember when he did not even wanted to show his face on camera at all. Your kids are natural in front of the camera though! Paul didn't want to have anything to do with the camera and now he is filming himself and Brittany, it is so amazing to see the growth in each one of you .... striking! It seems that we do grow together and yet far apart! God bless you and your family 🙏🏻💞🤗💞
When I rehabbed my old house 30 years ago, it was a priority to put the laundry room on the bedroom floor. I have never regretted that decision. It saves so much work. I put a drain pan under the washer just in case, but I have never had an overflow or leak.
I live in Oklahoma central Oklahoma. We have already had 90 degrees I’ve been thinning my peaches and nectarines. Our spring flowers are gone. My tomatoes potatoes and onions are getting big(potatoes are so tall). My first flush of roses had my backyard so perfumed it was lovely. It’s been raining sooooo much here, I’m thankful for it. This morning I’m drinking coffee listening to the birds and it gently rain and visiting with y’all the ones I can see Laura and Aaron, and the ones I can’t.hope everyone has a beautiful day. Do fun today.I’m going to an Iris show my towns Iris club is putting on I’m thinking about joining the club. I pray everyone has a blessed day ❤
Wow! Love seeing the 2121 aerial view. What a beautiful transformation you have brought us along for! I love your information on plants, planting and caring for them. And you have shown us how to do drip irrigation. Best of all, you have shown us that when a plant doesn't thrive, well move on and try something else.😏 You, Aaron, and the family and crew are treasures!!
Consistency of the key to your success! In my eyes. Because I watch just a few meaning consistently two other RUclips gardeners and they're not consistent. Which is okay it's their lives. And that's what most viewers don't get. Is we're watching your lives not a TV channel. I'm so happy for your success!!! My garden is beautiful because of your inspiration.
Congratulations on ten successful years! You are still my number one RUclipsrs! One thing that keeps me coming back is your professionalism. Your back and forth is great yet you do it without putting in silly giggles or witchy sounding hehehe laughs. As to popping a squat outside, well I knew I wasn't making it inside one day so I went beside the house and greenhouse. Stood up and I had peed all over the straps on my overalls. I had to get inside and change. Omg, so next time I went inside. What did I do, but let the strap fall in the toilet. It was worse than the outside episode! Thank you for not flooding your channel with shorts. I cannot stand them. I see the need for an occasional one but not the whole channel. I have had to unsubscribe to many that I used to follow. Here I am 72 this year, a gardener for many years but learning so much from you youngsters. Thank you for that and thank you for sharing your lives with us. ❤❤❤❤❤
Your commentary about the unknown life span of tree's reminds me of the movie Blade Runner. Really love watching you, started an apartment window growing ledge because of you. Years later I've now branched out to an amazing garden. Thank you.
I asked for and got a Milwaukee reciprocating saw for Christmas. At 72 this works so well for me trimming bigger branches. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it. And I'm not sure why people feel the need to be judgmental of what you do on your property! I hope you keep on doing (and I know you will) what's right for you and your children!
You two are so awesome and fun to watch together! Remember when Aaron was not in the recaps? On the sun porch freezing?! lol. I watch every video for 4 1/2 years now. I started in 2020 when I was teaching high school from home on Zoom.
When we built our house 26 years ago, the trend was to have the laundry room off the kitchen, but I insisted on having it upstairs where not only the bedrooms & baths were but also my home office, so I could quickly move clothes & linens around even when I was working. I have never regretted that decision! But family & friends, & even our builder, thought that was pretty unusual at the time. I only wish it was a bit bigger as it’s quite a chore to remove old appliances & bring in new ones, so that’s something to consider when designing your space.
One of the things I love about your videos now compared to ten or even eight years ago is that they’re longer…. Your videos back then were very short. One minute you’re talking about the plants and then boom!, they’re in the ground. I really like how you show now what you’re doing even when the plants are going in the ground.
Please keep making your awesome videos. I enjoy each one, usually with a cup of tea to kick start my day in the garden. We have 24 acres and I have a ton of landscaping on about 2 acres around our home. We live on a very rocky hillside. We all have our challenges. Thanks to you I now use extensive drip irrigation. What a blessing. Love your family.❤
You should re-release your old videos. Maybe make a Saturday highlight channel. The video that got me started watching you was a Fairy garden I think in a wheelbarrow-my first time copying another gardener and literally got me hooked on gardening, so thank you!!
Nope never doing naked garden day, but I do have a funny story. My son told me when he was a toddler he thought he was invisible when naked because that was his camo. I remember going out to the patio, and he would be hiding in the middle of my pots, naked, and pretending to be a flower.😅 So cute.
I winter sowed Oregon sugar pod peas in toilet paper rolls inside of milk jugs this year. It worked beautifully! The roots came out all together and they took right off after planting out still in the tp rolls.
Good Morning my Garden Answer family. I so look forward to all the videos but really love that your content just feels so natural like visiting you and standing around and watching you work in the garden. Lol. I don’t even break a sweat. Bahahaha. Love the play area It just looks so great. Couldn’t remember if I said so back when it showed.
Darn you Aaron! I really enjoy looking at your older videos from time to time. And I'm going to miss my namesake Beverly. You gave her a really wonderful life.
Congrats on 10 years of videos!! Look how far you come from the first one! Plus how you've been able to grow your subscriptions which enables you purchase all of the land and tools for it. I've learned so much from you both. Thank you so much!
The best 'Blooper' so to speak....was the funny little conversation about the SMELL....turned into the funniest fart segment.Lol...Oh my ,how hard I laughed !
I look forward to Garden Answers; Questions and Answers on Sunday’s with Laura and Erin. It’s pretty cool because you often answer the questions I had previously, or have currently. So very thankful for you guys.
Soil-blocking saves SO MUCH SPACE under grow lights! The seedling roots self prune once they hit the edge of the block. Wonderful for your average home gardener. 90% of my seedlings are ready to go outside in 6 wks - directly into the garden, no fussing with pulling plants out of plastic trays and the seedlings tend to just take off and grow (much like your paper pots). It's also easy to "pot up" by dropping a small soil block into the hole in the 2inch block. Lisa Mason Ziegler from the Gardener's Workshop is the queen of teaching how to use soil blocks!
Congratulations on your 10th anniversary of video posting. Your gardening information has inspired a lot of people to try their hand at making their space beautiful. You’re always fun to watch and I enjoy the variety of subjects, gardening, antiquing, your parents home and Andrew’s, even date day with Aaron visiting garden centres and shopping for trees. Most of all seeing the children having fun, so precious.
I just about love these recap videos as much as your regular content. I've learned so much from you Laura and I know I'm a better gardener because of you. These recaps just are entertaining though with you and Aaron chatting. Love it!!
Regenerative Gardening with Blossom teaches about soil blocking. I love the paper ones you use. I'm sorry to hear about Bev😢. She was a wonderful chicken ❤. It was so cute how she wanted to eat out of your hand.
Love all you guys!! I must have started watching right before you moved from the townhouse. You have been an incredible constant in my life and I have learned so much from you. Sorry about Bev. Last time you went into the pen it was like huh, something doesn't feel right. Maybe now's the time to name the other ones. I bet Samantha would love to do that!! Celia Moore Kent Island MD 6B
Ten year celebration-compilation of all the June 24 videos just to see the change!
I want to second this idea! Although they did do a video very similar I think last year but I loved it and would not mind seeing another!
Great idea! That would be so interesting, with drone shots of the property footprint at each stage.
I’m going to be extra patient and watch the commercials all the way through on June 24, as a thank you to Laura and Aaron. Perhaps many of you do that anyway…I tend to hit “skip” at first opportunity (sorry guys!)
That would be fun, getting a quick glimpse at one random thing from each year on that date.
Exactly what I came here to say!
I worked at Michelin for 14 years testing the rubber and components; your rubber mulch is not toxic. Enjoy it and carry on! :-)
It's good to have reliable research. Some folks don't trust science, but for me, actually getting the facts is important: www.epa.gov/chemical-research/federal-research-recycled-tire-crumb-used-playing-fields-and-playgrounds
Is there anything that would leach into food if tires are used for garden beds? Thinking like tractor tires planter type situations.
So sweet to hear about Samantha giving her condolences to the other chickens that Beverly died.
Yes, literally in tears thinking of her thoughtfulness towards the other chickens
So sweet f Samantha!
So sweet. I wonder if she was egg-bound.
I know right‼️❓‼️😍🥰💥💓💥
Here’s a vote for a 10 year celebration, you have worked so hard!! Learning so much.
Need a tea party or cocktail video in the Hartley...maybe using local farm market fruits or Andrew Seed Co specialty herbs, chocolate mint etc.
@@catherinemann3378 a party in the Hartley for sure!!!
PLEASE 🙏 make an edited fun version of your early videos for all of us to reminisce and enjoy on your 10 year RUclips anniversary ❤️
Good morning from West Virginia happy gardening 👩🏻🌾.
No naked gardening for me. I think my lupines would pick up their roots and RUN 😂
😂 right?! I do not get the idea of this concept 😅
LOL
It sounds risky to me 😅
😂🤣☠️
Oh no never for me that would be scarey for others !!!
Aw, when Bev didn't come around in the one video, I wondered what was up. Sad to hear she died. She was so friendly and the only one from your original flock.
Sorry to hear about Bev. I must ask. Did Cheddar die? I haven’t seen him for a long time. Please let your viewers know.😢
Love the split screen when you guys are having a conversation
We should all have a Bethany and a Paul; they are so helpful and thoughtful. What great workers they are; even better human beings.
I love that both Laura and Aaron do these recap videos. It makes them so interesting.

Everything was great last week. Really enjoyed seeing your mom’s house and the new playground for the kids. Have a great week everyone!
I had to laugh when Aaron mentioned that He and Benjamin had a "pee bush." Male gardeners do have that advantage!
I have a spot, and I’m female.
My husband used to say the world is his urinal😎
I hear that “liquid gold” is great fertilizer!
Recap Sunday and a cup of coffee, perfect.
People need to let you be you! Play set or no ply set is a personal decision. Love your videos! You are great parents.
I love that you don’t make the “subscribe, like and comment “ statements during your videos. Most of us know how the platform works 🤣
You have given me so much inspiration and now, at 72, I enjoy gardening again. And btw, I'm commenting to help. 😄
Another great week to highlight! Sunday’s are my favorite videos. Love the give and take between you two.👍👍👍

For the 10 year anniversary could you edit some fun bloopers and great gardening and family memories through the years please 💗
Oh, poor Bev.. sorry you had to lose her 😢 hugs 🤗
Sorry you lost Bev. At least it sounds like she didn’t suffer. How old was she? 😪
The video for Laura getting her 1st batch of 4-8week old chicks was posted 4/18/19. I think Bev was in this batch, so she was about 5.
I love that you are doing this for fun and you are not scripted! I watch all the time!❤

I live in Oklahoma central Oklahoma. We have already had 90 degrees I’ve been thinning my peaches and nectarines.
Our spring flowers are gone. My tomatoes potatoes and onions are getting big(potatoes are so tall).

You two are so awesome and fun to watch together! Remember when Aaron was not in the recaps? On the sun porch freezing?! lol. I watch every video for 4 1/2 years now. I started in 2020 when I was teaching high school from home on Zoom.
Good morning from Canada! It's nice to have a Sunday morning recap relax and enjoy!
I love creeping phlox! It blooms for several weeks here, NW Indiana and its evergreen after it blooms. It spreads very well.
Can you plant it under a tree?
It needs sun
When we built our house 26 years ago, the trend was to have the laundry room off the kitchen, but I insisted on having it upstairs where not only the bedrooms & baths were but also my home office, so I could quickly move clothes & linens around even when I was working. We did too- love it
Empty toilet paper rolls, cut paper towel rolls for seed starting. I no longer garden but I used them when I did. I loved doing it that way 😁
❤😊 we even reusing water bottles for next stage, Awesome to😮 reusing instead of purchasing ❤😊
Good morning Laura and Aaron. I love Sunday morning recap❤❤
One of the things I love about your videos now compared to ten or even eight years ago is that they’re longer…. Your videos back then were very short. I love that you put a play set in for the kids my granddaughters love to play on theres Can’t wait to see the trees you put around it!🌳🌲
Love your videos and look forward to Sunday morning recap. Thanks Aaron for calling tire store workers if we're worried about rubber carcinogens!
I always watch these recap videos with a smile on my face, they’re informative and fun.😊
Congrats on all the videos.....I watch them at lunch time here in Ireland...learning lots..😊❤
You should re-release your old videos. Maybe make a Saturday highlight channel. The video that got me started watching you was a Fairy garden I think in a wheelbarrow-my first time copying another gardener and literally got me hooked on gardening, so thank you!!
Listen to the weekly recap is what I listen to every Monday while getting ready for work. Love your channel!
We added rubber mulch to our school yard and had it tested for that reason. No carcinogens were concluded.
Ahhhh, recap! Have a great Sunday!
Laura you start so many things that I can't imagine soil blocking would be worthwhile for you-it would take forever!

Good combo!
So glad Lu decided to make this happen, I watch daily and recommend you to all. Love your show❤️
Good Morning my Garden Answer family. I so look forward to all the videos but really love that your content just feels so natural like visiting you and standing around and watching you work in the garden. Lol. I don’t even break a sweat. Bahahaha. Love the play area It just looks so great. Couldn’t remember if I said so back when it showed.

Congratulations on your tenth awesome year! My favorite, most peaceful channel. Look forward to you every day.💕
Darn you Aaron!
It is impressive how much you've done in 10 years (lots of work). Can't even imagine what your current property will look like in 10 years.

Good morning from Maine🌸🌺😄
I look forward to Garden Answers; Questions and Answers on Sunday’s with Laura and Erin.
It’s pretty cool because you often answer the questions I had previously, or have currently.
So very thankful for you guys.
So glad to see Aaron is a farmer and do that outside when we moved to the country that what my husband wanting to do the most.
Vinnie nailed it! Way to go, Vinnie, you brought the facts ❤
You guys are the best way to start my Sunday off!
Yes!!! Gardeners are very in tune with the weather. It’s so important as to protecting or nurturing your plants
I just about love these recap videos as much as your regular content. I've learned so much from you Laura and I know I'm a better gardener because of you. These recaps just are entertaining though with you and Aaron chatting. Love it!!
Can’t believe it’s coming up on 10 years. So many, many mornings of peaceful gardening shared......can’t thank you both enough.
