The third tutorial video is all about "How to Raise Pals."
In Palworld, various methods and features exist for caring for and raising your Pals. Simply leveling up is just the beginning; you can teach your Pal new skills in various ways and enhance their stats. Moreover, special Pals like Lucky Pals and subspecies with different attributes appear for the first time in this tutorial too.
Capture as many Pals as you can and raise the ultimate Pal!

This is such a "yes you can" game. Can you ride your Pal? Yes! Can I breed Pals? Yes! Can I utilizable my Pal as a Infantry Fighting Vehicle to increase my force multiplier in combat? YES!
pretty much how the games this studio makes are. craftopia pretty much lets you do whatever, wanna fight the dragon with a sword? sure. gun? yeah. another dragon? you bet. what about a Panzerkampfwagen IV? hell yeah, go for it.

@@pestoman7069leagues ahead of Pokemon because Nintendo has a death grip on dated hardware for some reason. Using a mobile GPU from 2013 is pathetic for a company competing with the likes of PS5 and Xbox series X.

First time we see a male character so that's nice. Then you get to 2:15 and thing's get quickly dark with talk of harvesting souls then light again with breeding. Awesome I can't wait for next year!

There are no such concepts as "male" or "female" in this game.
It's just "Body type 1" and "Body type 2".

@@user-eu8qe8fe7x Palworld is gonna have a far different audience than Pokemon. Largely kids under 10 aren't gonna play or be into it. Even Digimon isn't a fair comparison to pokemon, as excluding cyber sleuth a lot of the games are vastly different than the pokemon series. That being said as an ex pokemon fan I am much more excited for pal world than I have been for any 3D pokemon game

Just one thing, I feel like the Anubis inside the menu is very small specially considering that in the real world it looks to be bigger than the player, but then you get inside that menu and it feels as though it was a previous smaller evolution

I was interested in this game, after watching this I can't wait anymore!! The UI is nice and the ways to get Pals stronger is cool but what I wanna know 100% is: Do Pals ALWAYS have to do the killing hit to get exp?
No they don't need to be the last hit to get exp and also not only the main pal gets exp but also all pals in the party even if they didn't fight. So think of it like exp share or legend of arceus.

I've been looking forward to this game for such a long time. And man does it look cool. I appreciate that you can train your Pals thru battle and thru gacha style leveling. I hadn't seen the lucky pals/ variants either. How does mateing work in terms of lucky and variant pals? Are the stats rolled on a Pal random as well? If not I think that'd be a cool mode for people that enjoy that type of grinding. I also sincerely hope that there is a mode/ equipment that allows you to directly control your Pal. Like a soul combine kind of thing. Thanks for putting out regular content for this game. Once again, I really look forward to seeing the game release when it's ready.

i can tell this game is going to succeed because of what i am able to see regarding to the game footage you can tell the game is totally in a good shape of getting released but they are still holding into it so they don't rush it i have seen some other Triple A companies who would release games with such a horrible state just to grab money first then fix stuff later
i agree, from showcase i do think some polish will be needed so the game fill smooth, i do think its really important for game like this feel smooth since is not just all about combat but also exploration. bad transition and slow intreraction from the game UI will make the game time consumming and boring (dont get me wrong i really like the game and i want it to blow up when it release since most of my friend hate this game because of pokemon rip off stigma)

Hope that if their is permadeath, youll have a way to revive your pals so you dont lose the ones you put alot of work into, mabey when you harvest enough souls and bring your pal that got killed, you'll revive them (just a thought)

I think they should cater towards both crowds. There will be servers and I’m assuming you can edit the rules on them. Being able to toggle this option would be great so both sides are happy. I personally prefer not to lose the pal I spent hours making good. But I understand why some would want the permadeath.

Maybe if Palworld sell good enough they'll consider release on another platform, if you really want to play Palworld that badly get a Steam Deck.

My only question is if your monster/Pal can level over you, like is the monster capped at your current level or can it go past your current level.
For reference: in the video it showed the character at level 10 and the monster at level 6

We already need new pals! Maybe with evolutions! So early/common pals can be viable companions at later stage of the game..
And I wish breeding would be by percentage so there's always the adrenaline/surprice factor

over 100 pals. the pals can each have different elements. 9 elements so far. it'd be cool if every pal can be every element with different forms for each element. that'd be over 900 pals. I doubt that'd be the case. maybe 2 to 3 elemental forms for each pal. Ima guess there's gonna be like 300 pals including the elemental variations. The fact that the eggs are different patterns is cool enough already to try and get every elemental form.
