I remember after the initial stunt (before we all got bored and tuned out) Eric was on a live with the other RUclips watch talking heads - he was the only person to call it out and really speak his mind, and you never heard from him in those circles again. Eric is the only RUclips watch guy I would trust with my watches/money.
It's amazing how people forget about all the grey market anthony simps. They delete all their videos and pretend it never happened, scurring away like the roaches they are.
The issue is what happens to the watches if Eric is unable to work. Eric seems to be a one man show. Who is #2 in charge???
I remember the look on Eric's face more than anything. I think he would have punched Anthony if he had walked in the room right then. Eric was visibly VERY pissed.

I was Team TPG from the start. I was still living at home at the time and would watch their weekly series thing on the TV in the living room. My Mom came in one day and watched part it and said "There's something off about that guy. Not gonna end well" (She's a lawyer). I kind of dismissed it until the blackout happened. Turns out she was right lol

There is no possible way they made enough to live that lifestyle. He was always talking about charging 5% on consignments. On a $100,000 sale, that is $5,000, not counting expenses of shipping labels back and forth, employees... He would have had to do thousands of watches a month to profit enough to live the lifestyle he had.
Unfortunately these people that bought into Anthony's lifestyle can't figure that the math doesn't work out.

I picked up my GMT Master II Batman from my AD last month and we talked about the Pepsi being discontinued. She just returned from Rolex in Dallas for training and the instructor told the class that the Pepsi is NOT slated to be discontinued and the reason for inventory restraints is because they can produce 10X Black & Blue cerachrom bezels compared to Red & Blue. It's a logistics - material manufacturing thing .

Absolutely. The truth is that the jewelry and watch market is full of frauds because it's easy to do compared to many other industries. I realize people turn their lives around but ex con to Beverly Hills with "x" amount of followers etc etc is a bit abrupt. I enjoyed some of his videos and followed but unfortunately sometimes things are too good to be true. The prices in the last 5-6 years went so high so basic watches that I'm shocked more "dealers" haven't been arrested..

You claim RayBan Sharf is "the largest market Dealer,": whatever the Hell that means. As such he should have known Anthony couldn't make enough money on 5% consignments to pay for his life style. The FBI/DOJ indictment states a former TPG employee gave TPG accounting spreadsheets to the government. These spreadsheets list individual watches and their dispositions. Wanna bet RayBan Sharf appears as "buyer" of one or more watches? What are the chances Anthony sold stolen watches to Roman Shart?

I believe you were partnered or working with another group of people? anyways prob learned the most about the market, trends and what to look for from you. Hopefully get to meet you one day and perhaps pick up a watch. I’d say AF represents exactly what people think of the grey market (advantageous, grimey, pawnshopish) and Eric is on the other end of that spectrum; which is incredibly hard to portray online. people like Eric deserve to have have an official retail license for brands like Rolex, Patek, and vacheron; because he holds his integrity in opinion and practices while at the same time presenting products with absolute respect.

I believe that Eric, Luxury Bazaar (Roman and Co), Timepiece Trading Miami, CRM Jewelers all should be held accountable. You introduced Anthony to us via your platforms and numerous collaborations, you indicated trust and reliability so customers had faith putting their watches on consignment. All these brands mentioned above - including you Eric, should have done a more thorough research on this con artist before collabing and doing business with him. I have zero trust in any of you now

Very Interesting! I kind of for now still like the markers on the older models look better. The thinned hour markers and subdials look a bit boring on the panda. The black dial just flows better in my opinion. As for the bezel I think it’s huge win with the metal around it.

I've been a watch guy (buyer) for over 30 years in London, I knew he was fake from the start, I have never sold on consignment just to many Anthony's around, You are one of the only guys that I see as real. Next time I'm in Miami I'll have to see what I can add.

Tried to buy an AP offshore 43mm smoke taupe from these guys before all the crazy stuff went down, long story short it was a shit show on their end with piss poor communication and service, I called out there guy Trevor who was "helping" me over the course of a week or so and then he had the nerve to lip off at me and that was the end, told him to take a hike. Never did the deal and glad I never ended up doing business with those guys. Ended up getting the watch from my guy at Watchbox. Anywways, good video Eric, your vids are always great and you do solid watch reviews. I'll have to pick up a piece from you some time.

Apparently the issue with the Pepsi bezel is that they’re having trouble with the blue/red painting process so basically they’re getting a lot of rejects. In the meantime I hear they’re upping the production of the Batman inserts while they perfect the Pepsis. This was what my AD manager told me. So not discontinued, just temporarily halted. Imagine getting hold of one of those rejected ceramic bezels though, there might be some cool ones.

@@WatchEricYes, absolutely. It seems though they needed to change the formulation red/blue is the only bezel made of aluminumoxide and not zirkoniumoxide like all the others. Rumors are the red color powder is not meeting new environmental standard (toxic) and needed to change, hence the issues. Another theory is that the long term strength is not as high as previously thought and it’s reformulated, another one is that source materials are currently sanctioned hard to get. We will never know.

At the end of the day, like what Federico said, never consign with dealers unless you have a great relationship with them, or you really trust them, or else if they screw you over, it's not a legal, but a civil case, which is a pain in the ass to deal with.

Eric, you have always been an honest watch dealer, and smart enough not to get in business with Anthony Farrer. Plus keeping Anthony off of your channel was a great idea. From your interaction with Marco Nicolini, do you think Marco knew what Anthony was up to and looked the other way because the money was so good when ty both were partners?
Your colleague's speaks for many of us who do want Anthony to face the consequences of what he did to his consignees (he stole $3 million). Being arrested by the FBI shows Anthony's scam was not a small matter, and his crime spree went across state borders. Furthermore, there is a huge difference between revenue and profits, and Anthony had no clue how to run a business. The irony is that Anthony stole with impunity, confessed on social media, then had the audacity, to tell everyone we were haters because he was "trying" to pay his $5 million that he stole from watches he stole from consignees.
