Do you think just adding the extra screw hole is enough to get the access of the full drawer or both cutting the balls and adding the extra hole.

When I went to ikea I couldn't believe how tiny that table was. So we shopped around some more and I opted for the limmon desk top and 2 sets of Alex drawers under it. The reason for this is when I get my vanity girl mirror I don't want to mount it to the wall. Thanks for your videos they have truly helped me get my vanity organized.

I have this table. You put it together yourself so just put whatever you want on the table top and place the glass over it.

I haven't bought the ikea malm dressing table yet but I would like to .. Just wondering , the glass top is there like a gap between the glass and table? Because how did U get the decorative print under the glass?? it isn't very safe to do your makeup ontop of a glass top.. Things can very easily smash
ive dropped massive perfume bottles on the glass and it hasnt smashed :)) to get the print she just lifted the glass and put the print down (probably paper or fabric) and put the glass on top again
I have a malm desk Whit this glass since I'm 10 and it never happened anything to the glass :)

I have the same dressing table and it's not screwed to the wall. I have a tv on top and it's fine no wobbling or anything just make sure you have a level floor space and obv don't shake it or anything lol

Ms2kUte4U the glass comes with the dressing table at IKEA however it is sold separately and is very cheap....less than $20 for this specific table.
My glass top came with my table. Not sure why someone would have to purchase separately.

There are holes in on the Ikea sliders, you dont need to buy other sliders. Just choose a different hole.
Can you make a video of the holes you’re talking about?
@@christinevelez8965 I hope you found the instructions about the holes. I think their available in a pdf form on the ikea website. You can chose what hole you screw in depending on how much you want to be able to pull the drawer.
Nope. Moved the sliders forward and now the drawer is sticking out past the table. Going to buy ordinary drawer runners and swap them out.

Its sold like that as a safety precaution. Having the drawer come out further increases the chance of the table tipping over, especially if the contents of the drawer is heavier then what's on top on the table itself. Common sense.
