I have many fond memories as a little girl travelling to Scranton, PA, with my family. On the way, we paid a visit to my uncle (my mom's stepbrother) and his wife, who were living in Annapolis. They were Episcopalians and often went to the Naval Academy Chapel for services due in part to him being a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War as a pilot. After services were over, we toured around the chapel and visited the crypt where naval hero John Paul Jones (a hero of mine) is laid to rest with a Marine guard detail posted nearby. The sarcophagus is a lovely sea green marble held by 4 solid bronze dolphins at each corner holding the remains by their tails. And there are the names and pictures of his various sailing vessels he commanded during the American Revolution.

This is a beautiful video and especially poignant at a time in our nation's history where we are losing the connection between the foundations of this country and the link between our ideals and faith.

You should do a new video on the new organ at the navel academy.

Kudos to the Sailor-Musicians of the USNA brass ensemble. All of the service academies have bands of professional musicians who provide ceremonial, concert, and worship music for the respective institutions. These musicians are not cadets or midshipmen; they are enlisted musicians selected for these musical ensembles from rigorous auditions.
