I never liked sabotos but in recent years I've gained a lot of respect for the man.he is just a good guy that helps people in anyway he can like when Davey Allison had his life ending crash he sent his plane to Charlotte to take Robert Yates an his people to Alabama to see Davey before he died.their is a lot more he done for others.he I sanctuary a good guy who loves Nascar an has a lot of money he pumps Into the sport just basically cause he has the money an loves the sport.he is just a good person. If you look below the surface
I enjoy these interviews but someone needs to watch the needles on the audio and have the interviewer tell the person to speak up! It’s pretty bad when you have to turn the sound wide open and then the tapping of the table blows your speakers out.
I agree. The audio on this episode was a little rough, if for no other reason than it was the first one we'd done in person since the whole quarantine thing started. I was a little rusty in getting everything set up, but I think the two interviews we've done in person since this one have been a little bit better. I think. Maybe. Possibly.
😂 well Larry is right. Especially since Richard Petty's handle before it became the king, was the "squirrel". Besides the fact all of them had driven over their heads. For much of their careers, and would wreck guys they had an axe's to grind. Like Earhardt did with Ken Schrader, after Schrader took Dale Jr to a strip club. Or Jaws and Davey Allison. And Richard "Squirrel" Petty wreck many different drivers during his career. So Larry no doubt put them in their place...
Nooks & crannies. He's getting to the roots of the beginning of modern day NASCAR. A Great Story Teller & I'm Anxious To Hear More.
Great interview
Man I coulkd watch Larry's interview all day! Love those back in the day stories!
Good stuff these are better than the racing today!
They had a pole in 88 with Rick Wilson at spring bristol race
I wish he could have made it. Not sure why he did not.
18:24 that's rich coming from a guy like Sabates, who employed so many turds in his cars through the years.

@@TheSceneVault Well I would agree.. I think it was Mr. McClure not being used to a microphone. HEY, how about an interview with Tiger Tom Pistone??
